### "IT Systems Specialist"

January 5, 2026

5.0

Pros

Very intuitive UI – It’s easy to get productive quickly, even for admins who aren’t deep MDM specialists. Common tasks (enrollment, policy creation, app deployment) are straightforward. Strong multi-platform support – Managing iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and tvOS from one console feels consistent rather than fragmented. Flexible policy controls – Especially for kiosk/lockdown modes and compliance rules. You can be very granular without the setup becoming painful. Fast deployment & onboarding – Device enrollment (especially Apple ADE and Android Enterprise) is smooth and well-documented.

Cons

Reporting and analytics are basic – The built-in reports work, but they’re not very customizable or insightful compared to larger UEM platforms. UI inconsistencies at times – While generally clean, some deeper settings feel buried or behave slightly differently across platforms. Automation depth is limited – You can automate common workflows, but advanced, conditional automation (especially cross-platform) isn’t as strong as higher-end tools. macOS & Windows depth lags a bit – Mobile platforms are clearly the strongest; desktop OS management feels less mature in comparison. Change management / versioning – It’s easy to make policy changes, but harder to track who changed what and roll back cleanly.

### "Comprehensive and Secure MDM for Organizations"

December 4, 2025

5.0

Overall, Hexnode has proven to be an invaluable tool for our organization, enabling efficient management of a large fleet of mobile devices. Its strong security features, combined with seamless integration with mobile endpoint protection, provide a reliable and comprehensive solution for our mobile device management needs.

Pros

The cross-platform support, unified management, and straightforward deployment make Hexnode highly efficient. Additionally, its intuitive interface, robust policy enforcement, and seamless app distribution further simplify mobile device management, allowing administrators to maintain security and compliance with minimal effort.

Cons

While Hexnode performs well in most areas, device unenrollment could be improved. Currently, the process can be cumbersome at times, and some devices may remain partially enrolled, which can complicate device lifecycle management and offboarding procedures. Enhancing this feature would further strengthen Hexnode’s overall usability and administrative efficiency.

### "Good for inventory, bad for having control of devices."

October 27, 2025

3.0

it's been really annoying not to have the features mentioned above. Some support works ok but there are some basic actions that don't come with your plan unless you have the very top tier plan.

Pros

easy to setup, add users, assign policies, and give basic configurations to the devices. Interface is very user friendly.

Cons

operation is really hard if you don't have the max plan, controlling devices is almost impossible. for all the other plans, only tracking is ok, but remote control is limited to impossible. I can't even apply security actions such as locking computers remotely, changing passwords, etc. The macOS configuration and control is really basic.

### "Good product - could use some love on the Design-side."

October 13, 2025

3.0

It's a good software! I think the functionality is still better than the UX, but I'm hoping it will catch up.

Pros

It's been improving his UI lately, moved on from being extremely basic to having a bit more oomph. The searching and filtering of the devices is pretty accurate and I'd say the functionality overall is adequate. The customer service is also great! They follow up with an email once they have answered your question, and it has a ton of information there and references you might need. As for ease of use, everyone in the company is happy with just getting an email and setting Hexnode up, so that partof the UX is extremely easy.

Cons

On the admin side of things, it still feels like a very basic database. The onboarding experience might also be improved since it really doesn't explain much. Maybe videos instead of written instructions might work best with this specific type of software. The offboarding of a device is also something that's very vague to me. The fact that I can just click something to "Appear as un-enrolled" doesn't make me trust the un-enrollment process as much.

### "Kiosk mode"

November 21, 2025

5.0

Pros

Hexnode stood out after comparing it with several other UEM/MDM platforms. The interface is clean, intuitive, and highly customizable, which made the initial setup fast and straightforward. Device onboarding was smooth with no issues, and policies applied consistently from the start. Kiosk mode is one of Hexnode’s strongest features—creating and managing restrictions is simple, version control is clear and reliable, and updates can be rolled out confidently across different device groups. The platform offers a solid balance between flexibility and control, making it easy to support both straightforward and more complex deployment scenarios. Overall, Hexnode delivers a robust and scalable solution that has performed reliably in real-world use. It’s a strong choice for teams looking for a modern MDM platform with good usability and thoughtful features.

Cons

The interface is intuitive overall, but certain policy menus require several clicks to reach deeper settings. Small workflow optimizations would help speed up daily administration.

### "Best MDM for Android devices in Kiosk mode"

December 6, 2024

5.0

Very good product for Android devices. I'll be honest that I haven't tried the iOS or Windows features, but they look VERY detailed in the previews that I've seen. For anyone needing what we have, it's the best on the market for Android products. Everytime I search how to do anything in an Android MDM, the first five in the list are Reddit or Hexnode articles on how to do it in Hexnode, and now I know why.

Pros

I've tried many MDM products but for our specific needs of deploying unmanned Android Kiosk devices to over 700 sites in Australia, Hexnode was the only product that ticked all the boxes in what we needed. Fairly low monthly costs, ability to push out custom Android packages, kiosk mode that is almost impossible to bypass without physical access to the devices ports or buttons. Love it. 3 years strong and still growing with it.

Cons

The hardest part is explaining to our Finance Manager why our invoices fluctuate each month based on the exchange rate. Hexnode only accept payment in $USD so it's difficult for our finance team to process in Australia, especially without a GST rebate on the monthly fees. Meh, we live with it.

### "Great product with excellent features"

April 28, 2025

4.0

Overall, Hexnode works extremely well in managing devices in the field. Our usage isn't typical. We're not managing devices deployed to employees, but rather are using it to control devices in Kiosk mode deployed to customer locations. Hexnode keeps our rules enforced so device usage is limited to the intended purpose.

Pros

The ability to manage our fleet of devices from a single place.

Cons

Organization is sometimes hard to understand for new staff or staff being assigned to admin without experience.

### "An excellent option for UEM that handles all platforms"

April 24, 2025

5.0

It's been great. The agent is easy to deploy. It's been easy to customize with scripts and software. We haven't had any issues to speak of.

Pros

Hexnode supports Macs, PCs, Linux, iOS, and Android endpoints. It's great to have all of our device management in one location rather than having to choose different tools to manage different platforms.

Cons

While is does manage PCs they haven't yet achieved feature parity. That works ok for us since we are a primarily Mac shop, but if you have a mostly PCs you may feel that the management is limited.

### "Help? "These are not the terms you are looking for""

May 7, 2025

2.0

Disappointed. Device management is difficult. Hexnode should make it easier. But when I spend so much time trying to get it working right, or solving issues, it negates the positives.

Pros

The ability to remotely access and control remote devices. Very needed in the remote work era.

Cons

Difficult to use, many flaws. The worst is that searching for help comes with "nothing matched your terms" and I have then manually went thru and found the exact phrase I searched for in the help. Having many issues right now, can't use remote view. Getting help on it, but this is the main purpose and it is now broken.

### "Managing devices are a breeze with Hexnode!"

May 2, 2025

5.0

Pros

It's an easy, set-it-and-forget-it software. Navigating the settings, etc, has been a breeze when setting up new devices.

Cons

The maps/geofence is not what it should be - we often get alerts that a device has left the geofence, when in fact it has not.

### "Tech support super stars"

April 23, 2025

5.0

Mostly positive. The tech support is spot on. The Hexnode apps are not as visible as I would like, particularly the Hexnode browsers.

Pros

The tech support at Hexnode is very thorough and quick. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for support and our company has a dedicated customer service specialist who is very responsive.

Cons

Sometimes the platform is confusing, especially regarding what features are enabled on what plans. It can be difficult to enable certain features in certain apps. Also, the Hexnode browser does not appear as an app, so I cannot configure it.

### "Best MDM Solution I ever used."

April 27, 2025

5.0

Amazing experience, pay for the number of devices only without having to purchase packs. Mobile devices setup is amazing, and support is extremely professional.

Pros

It provides a very easy initial setup for new devices, we can even configure a device remotely! We can add licenses on demand one by one.

Cons

The admin console does not have the best experience, if you are managing too many apps in policies you might have some hard time. But it is a one time setup anyway.

### "Tech Startup - Great Solution for Small Company"

April 25, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience with Hexnode has been positive, it was the right price and size for our needs at this time.

Pros

I enjoy that it is simple and easy to manage our devices. We are able to also manage Apple and Windows devices which is something that was absolutely necessary for us. There are many support articles and tutorials that have been helpful, as well as their support team if we experience any issues or have any questions.

Cons

Something I like the lease about Hexnode is if there was more help with setting up your environment and making sure we are constantly getting the most out of their product between feature updates and length of being a customer. It would be a great idea upon each renewal that a customer support rep meets with your customers to perform a usage audit.

### "Glad I switched"

April 24, 2025

4.0

Pretty good. This is my 3rd MDM solution over the years and I like it the best.

Pros

Support is great if you can't figure something out. Seems like they keep updating it with more options etc.

Cons

The option to force the layout of icons on ipads and phones is lacking. It's set to an old display resolution so it doesn't work well at all with newer devices.

### "Superb UEM solution for an S.M.B Gaming firm, meets all our priorities and requirements"

July 24, 2024

4.0

Overall , was pretty good right from the initial demo to sales, finally culminating in implementation. I do not have any complaints or regrets and actually look forward to dealing with their tremendously endowed tech support.

Pros

Hexnode UEM has succeeded in streamlining our MDM capabilities for a variety of endpoints across our fleet. While it does lack some features, I am quite excited reading about their roadmap, futuristic plans and their greater ease of deployment. As an UEM administrator, all this information is absolutely music to ears and I hope it joins the Gartner's quadrant soon with it's every increasing features and product landscape.

Cons

Poor customization and branding for aesthetics Nil or poor patch management capabilities No OSD deployment available from Hex node, still using a manual Os deployment a legacy tool to accomplish this.
