Pros This is excellent software to keep your safety information up to date and all in one location. We can share great ideas and safety news and procedures and you can make yourself visible to other companies. ISNetworld also offers exceptional customer service, I have had questions and utilized the chat button. Within minutes I was interacting with a person who was able to help me. Cons The scoring matrices can be a little archaic. For a smaller company, the TRIF rate should be calculated differently. It is important for ISNetworld to champion changes in the way safety is "graded". Our customers have chosen it for their compliance needs. It is a click and choose service and if our clients click a field that does not apply to us, we get an F rating for non-compliance. Customer service is horrible. They read off the answers to our questions and actually give no advice at all. Pros Nothing. It is cryptic to use and instructions from page to page may differ. As stated by other contractors, they are like the Mafia. Crazy fees, for terrible software that has absolutely zero impact in the field. Pros I can't honestly say anything good about ISN. Managing Partner Environmental Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Horrible Customer Service" April 3, 2024 1.0 Extremely frustrating so far, and I am not even completely set up yet. Pros I don't like anything. It is just a way to download costs onto small contractors. Cons They emailed me constantly once an invoice was issued to pay the invoice - after that radio silence. No instructions or guidance was provided at all. Their only chat is not with a live human but is a crappy chatbot that doesn't actually answer questions and only lets you choose pre-identified questions. You have to fill out a form to get help, and only then does it allow you to call the support number. You have to navigate an auto-responder menu and sit on hold to talk to a live human (just keep hitting "0" until the system passes you on to a live human). Review Source LV LES V. The devil is in the detail, and the top of the foodchain doesn't appreciate how robust or intensive it is. Pros Great people doing the hard work in the background to actually verify and cross check with validation what the contractor is doing or capable of. Cons Quite complicated. I would definitely recommend it, and I would use it again in the future unless I find a product when features that are out-of-the-box and impressive. Pros I have used ISNetworld in the past, but don't use it currently. when I used it, I found it to be a solid product. It is well developed, it offers a very complete set of functionality necessary to manage compliance by one's own organization and by contractors and partners. This product makes it easy to organize compliance documentation and records, and to produce compliance reports. Cons Even though it is a solid product, it didn't have any particular feature that I found overly impressive. It has been a good experience. It is very easy to see grades and take corrective actions. Pros It keeps track of tons of information for you, which takes a lot of stress out of managing subcontractors. It is available to get ID badges for entry to work sites, so they automatically log you in. Cons The set up is quite lengthy. Additionally, the website is not very easy to navigate. There are lots of pages with sub-pages and sub-sub-pages. If you are looking for something specific and don't know where to go to find it, you'll be looking for a while. Review Source MC Melissa C. Whole process (from my end as the trainee) was simple, client got me my login info, and once I logged in my necessary training was right there and available. I did have to watch one of the videos over because the page timed out before the video was over, so watch for that. Otherwise it was a piece of cake, and good for contractors who need training but aren't necessarily all available to be onsite at once prior to starting work. CFO/Owner Photography Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Not for small businesses" April 20, 2021 2.0 The requirement are over the top for a small company yet perfect for a company with over 50 employees and a brick and mortar establishment. Customer service needs to be overhauled to help small businesses who are trying to subcontract with larger businesses who require ISNetworld. Customer service also needs to apply solutions instead of seeking fault and exploiting it on the customer's end. 99.9% of all the required documentation uploaded by us had discrepancies which was equal to over 60 hours of work. Pros Nothing. Not user friendly. Most of the user supplied uploads are unnecessarily redundant. Cons The company lacks diversity and selective requirements between large corporations and small businesses. They have a set standard of at least 50% of required written policies, yet they have no way to opt out of certain requirements. They require uploads to be extremely specific, but they do not outline what the specifics are before you upload. Their resolution to a problem is to stay on the phone with a customer and hand walk them through what they need instead of publishing examples to streamline the process.
