I have enjoyed the entire experience. Upkeep has helpful, proactive staff who offer a weekly training, of which we have attended and enjoyed. This also gives my techs/customers a chance to get trained directly from the maker instead me having to do it all the time. It also helps us to stay up to date on advances and changes. The app has been working great for us! We left the software “Freshdesk” to come to upkeep and that has been a great decision! Thanks upkeep!

Pros

The software is easy to use for both techs and for customers. We set up all departments of our church as customers so things can be easily reported via the app on their phone. I love the app based software and that I can manage it from a computer as well. The fact that upkeep offers nonprofits a discount is a huge plus as well

Cons

I wish it updated the requester whenever an order was noted not just when you change the status of the ticket. This would inform the requester of noteworthy updates regarding communication on the issue when there was no update on the status.

We have genuinely reduced our operating cost, improved our record keeping and hugely increased staff morale by moving to Upkeep.

Pros

Completely purpose-built for field-based maintenance. Has been designed by those who understand the needs of the maintenance technicians and managers. Excellent API available. Very easy to adopt into your business. New features are continuously added. If you are still using spreadsheets, paper records or a desktop based software, you will achieve a massive efficiency increase by moving to Upkeep.

Cons

The pricing format is unfortunately quite linear. We are hesitant about rolling out to our full organisation as there is no real economy of scale offered on the pricing structure. There is a charge per month for every single user regardless of the size of your organisation.

Overall, the program helps keep our sanity. We really like the ability to check status of orders. With all that said, we desperately need the ability to store our specs of each of our customers. It would be great to have the info easily accessible to the whole team. Handling inventory would be great as well. If we found another program that could accommodate it all, we would likely need to switch which app we utilize to run production and shipping.

Pros

I love the calendar feature!! It allows our team to stay on top of our most pressing jobs.

Cons

It would be amazing to have a inventory feature and a very generalized database. Does not need to be flashy! A way for our team to share important info with easy accessibility.

This app has been beneficial in timeliness and cost-effective maintenance on my equipment. I am currently having a problem when putting in the hrs and cost on a work order. I will be able to put one in then the app freezes on my desktop computer. I will have to close and reopen then it will allow me to finish inputting the data. Other than that, it has been a valuable addition to my maintenance program.

Pros

I like the fact it is flexible and has several options depending on how the user wants to set up his maintenance operation and parts tracking. I find it easily changeable if needed.

Cons

Lately, I have had some issues with the app freezing on both my desktop and IPAD after the latest update. It typically occurs when closing out a work order and adding the updates, time, and the cost sections.

This was easy to begin using. As we have more time to enter assets and tag them we are finding more functions

Pros

Ease of use for technicians and tenants. Everyone can utilize this app online and on their phone. Attaching photos and videos

Cons

I wish tenants could see the progress of all work orders for their suite not just the ones they enter.

Pros

Our rep and others are constantly seeking input from end users to provide the product we need. The Upkeep customer service team truly cares about providing customer satisfaction.

Cons

I wish the pc version was a user friendly as the mobile version.

I took the program with complete confidence in the benefits that it would bring me, and i have experience nothing less, and have not been left disappointed at any point in time.

Pros

what i liked most about this software would first be the accessibly i have to using it out on my floor with a cell phone or any device that has internet access, keeps me from having to run back and forth or from having to remember everything that ill try to remember in the time. Another great thing about Upkeep is how simple and self explanatory the program is. I could honestly go on about the pros in this software and how it has made my job much simpler.

Cons

I have honestly yet to fall into a situation with UpKeep software that i would put on the cons list.

I've received wonderful support from rep, who has found a way to always fulfill my requests and ensure I have the data I am looking for. I'm very happy with the application.

Pros

Upkeep provides a ton of data that you need to properly track and audit workflow within you business. Some great features include creating multiple locations, people, teams, assets, categories, etc. There are many choices that if you use to its fullest potential can give you some great data.

Cons

There are a few struggles that Upkeep has while performing tasks. Unfortunately not every table is exportable thus leaving a lot of manual work on the backend to match results or create new spreadsheets. You are fairly limited in your filtering abilities within work orders. It would nice to have an option to filter models to see failure rates between two different products. Inventory tracking is not the best especially for multiple locations and can cause a lot of confusion with multiple users trying to find similar part names. Other than those there aren't many issues or cons, I think the biggest struggle is that many users don't know how to properly use the application.

### "Joy of Maintenance"

I would say it has been very good, UpKeep has been well embraced by the Associates here and the ease they have had submitting work orders.

Pros

The biggest thing would be communication. Before UpKeep a work order would be put in and no one would know the status of it. With UpKeep we see updates and emails detailing the status of the work order.

Cons

The only thing that comes to mind is that you provide training for Administrators and Technicians, it would be nice to have a power point presentation for the view only and Requestors. As an Administrator, UpKeep was my task to own, and I had to present it to the group prior to launch. the problem was the Administrator permissions is different than the view only and Requestors, needless to say my 1st class was a learning experience not only for the view only and Requestors but for me also.

Pros

i like upkeep vendor and customer portal since am able to search all vendors available and am able to contact them in few minutes since the portal provides vendors name, email, phone and company. The security feature for upkeep is also good since all users are supposed to login using their passwords

Cons

the application disturbs a lot to login using android smart phones and sometimes tends to be too slow

We are able to keep track of major repairs, as well as the cost involved. This also solves our problem of just texting from person to person. We are all able to view the work orders and see what is needed, in one place.

Pros

We have an RV Rental business. When the RV comes back from a rental, the RV cleaner notes any repairs. The RV maintenance team assess the situation and determines if a part is needed, then notes that in the updates. As the business owner, I then order a part and update so that the team is aware. The software helps us keep track of routine repairs and upcoming needed repairs. It also keeps track of when the last time a major repair was made, such as air conditioning or refrigeration.

Cons

We have not decided to purchase the software and are only using the free version. The price is a bit out of our budget, for the 5 users that we have using it on a regular basis. However, as long as we can continue using the free version, we will.

It is great for a multi site business, where I have to manage different problems and work orders, over several locations, and can provide feedback to the business and persons requesting the work orders. The fact that you can also track historical repairs, and can print barcodes for assets and equipment makes keeping track of various and many parts at the same time, very easy, and functional.

Pros

The fact that you can completely customise the functionality to your business, and as an administrator you have full control of how the system users are set up, to provide optimal feedback, as well as limit their access to only applicable sections.

Cons

Sometimes when exporting data, some of the data gets lost, and you need to refresh the page and double check that all of the work orders did in fact pull through to the PDF document.

### "Things Made Easy "

My overall experience with upkeep has been positive, it is a very professional site and very well organized; especially since I'm working with maintenance. Upkeep has work orders organized and prioritized, which makes getting the jobs done easier and within a reasonable amount of time.

Pros

The program practically organizes itself once the information has been put into the system, very effective.

Cons

The software is slightly difficult to understand for a few older employees, if there was a video tutorial to explain the ins and out of the program for those who are confused about the program.

The program was here when i started the position, I've slowly started to understand how Upkeep works and have integrated it into my daily work.

Its been a great software to keep tract of assets, parts, and ordering for reoccurring items.

Pros

The Upkeep software is great for general reminders on preventative maintenance. It's a great way not only to set dates and times for work but also detail notes about service and products that might need more technical knowledge.

Cons

Sometimes the software does not update work orders on the screen quickly or automatically. It would be nice if i didn't see reoccurring preventative maintenance orders when i know they repeat. I only want to see one period of time without having to use filters.

It’s great. The company is very supportive of its product. There have been examples when small modifications to the software were made to make this better fit our application. The customer service experience is outstanding.

Pros

This system was Implemented to address some efficiency issues we were having with getting information passed around this large department. Instead of 15 different work order systems, we implemented this one state wide and it has helped tremendously. At this point in time, upkeep is the only work order system that we are now using. It has been a positive experience adding this software package

Like I said I run and mechanically maintain 14 properties with out upkeep I would be lost on knowing what to do and what is important.

Pros

I am very grateful for upkeep. To say it has helped would be an understatement. I have used it to keep track of all my companies equipment. I have not even gotten to probably half of what you can do on it. Entering info is so easy. Creating forms useful to you. Keeping track of all the work I have at hand. Timing the situation. The list goes on and on with this App. I am sure I will be referring to my history as time goes on. With certain equipment once so much money kinda realize it’s better to just replace it. I mechanically maintain 14 Restaurant/catering companies. I do this alone and take care of projects etc..... upkeep has helped a lot.

Cons

Really wish it had a collective weekly timesheet that I could turn into payroll. As is now it keeps track of time but does not at end of week give you a collective time sheet. Would be super awesome to have something professional to turn into payroll via email that had your WO # the time you started the time you ended for that day on each job and then adds it at end of week to turn in. Also a way to turn in notes and be able to send that as well

Although his product was not specifically designed for running the equipment side of a construction company, the product continually adds features to tweak the product. Other similar products made for construction are extremely costly and have a costly annual fee. They also require days of training and tens of thousands of dollars. We love how streamlined and easy Upkeep is, and anyone can access it from their phone or ipad. Laptops are not needed. Upkeep suits most of our needs and the team is willing to listen and implement features to further meet our needs. This is a key feature as far as we're concerned: the engineers are willing to listen and tweak a few features to compliment the needs of a big construction company. Other products felt old and cumbersome and Upkeep feels light and easy!

Pros

Helps us track work orders, preventative maintenance, equipment tracking, vendors, parts inventory and more. Also helps track meter hour readings. Easy to use for all of our crews. Most importantly, Upkeep tries to add features based on our feedback. Super value and ROI for this easy to use product! Can be used from phone, tablet or computer and is graphically clean and EASY to use.

Cons

Not entirely made for the needs of heavy civil construction, meters are not made available for non-administrators to enter. While everyone can request a work order, we wish there was a bit more the crew could access from a specific job site.

My experience has been amazing. I dealt with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and she has been very helpful with explaining the product and choosing the right package.

Pros

I really enjoy this software because we keep every work order in one system. At Skylawn we were constantly loosing paperwork and falling behind on our duties. With this system it prevents loss and keeps our customers happy.

Cons

There isn't much that I dislike about this software. All I could really recommend is having more customization with all the different plans.

Its pretty great software for companies to use for sure, especially since they are constantly updating it and providing webinars that show you their new features.

Pros

I like that this software is pretty manageable and pretty easy to use. Compared to my old companies work order software, this one blows it out of the park.

Cons

I don't like how many restrictions are a part of the limited technician. I feel like its too limited but it also feels like they can adjust way too many things. It just needs to be tweaked.

Pros

Facilities management Is no longer the paperwork, phone call or email nightmare that it used to be for a large-scale organization like us. Now, we run like a well-oiled machine since we can easily schedule work orders, track and and follow up on them in real time. It even helps us to manage our inventory as well as create invoices and reports. The app can be used on any device and has a great user interface.

Cons

We encountered some roadblocks during the implementation and initial usage and being able to give feedback on these issues with their very receptive and responsive support team allowed us to iron out the wrinkles to our satisfaction.
