I can almost guarantee a ROI on this product within the first year of implementation. I truly believe it pays for itself with the ability to go green and stop so much paper reports and tracking, as well freeing up admin staff to do other important duties. It is truly amazing! Techs in the field love it just as much as it makes their job so much easier and provides them abilities to provide updates to important tasks in real time.

Pros

Not only is UpKeep easy to use and learn, getting it implemented within my organization has been practically turnkey! UpKeep staff provided an amazing training experience for my organization and we were up and running in no time. Service after the sale has been fantastic! UpKeep is always ready and willing to help us with whatever we have a question about. Our field techs were super quick to pick it up and become masters with managing of work orders. My organization leadership love it too! It's incredibly easy to see our entire organization in one big picture. UpKeep has by and large far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to using UpKeep for many years to come!

Cons

There are really no cons with this amazing software! Anytime there has been some kind of obstacle during implementation and usage, it has already been resolved to our complete satisfaction.

No more hand-written work orders, the ability to take pictures and draw on them improves communication with team members to execute the work order, response times are faster, employees can track progress, grouping, sorting, and note taking helps us keep each one moving forward. Excellent tool.

Pros

From my desktop or smartphone, I'm able to communicate easily with my team to quickly address our facility issues. Employees who have an need can stop me in the hall, call me at my desk, or fill out their own request at their convenience. They can check on the status of their work order when they want. It has improved communication and response time, is a breeze to use, and is so cost efficient. We've been using UpKeep for 2 years, field about 40 work orders per month, and highly recommend it to everyone.

Cons

I really can't think of one thing, seriously. It meets all of our needs and when I have a feature request, the team adds it to their list for consideration.

Initially, Upkeep was utilised as a method of storing all job records and upcoming tasks in one place to save on paperwork, improve organisation and also save time. This has often been the case, although some bugs that have been rectified previously seem to be occuring again several updates later A method of inputting all data offline and then being able to upload it all when in an area of good data signal/Wifi would be a great benefit especially as myself and colleagues are field workers

When all features work, the product is very good

Cons

The current version of the desktop view of Upkeep. The original version was a full screen view and the lists were easier to navigate Very signal dependant when using a mobile device Photographs added to reports often fail and can take up to a minute to upload Multiple photographs are unable to be uploaded simultaneously from a gallery Job timers sometimes corrupt and end up un the hundreds or thousands of hours

We've been using upkeep for a few months now and we love it. The functionality and practicality are awesome. Its definitely an app that the creators invested a lot of time and thought into. Upkeep takes the creation and implementation of work orders to a another level. It's far from basic and there are countless features but it never feels overwhelming. Everything is laid out simply and it's easy to find. We've got a few older people on our team and they've had a good time using it. The customer service they've shown us has been incredible. They're always ready and willing to help us or show us how to do something anytime we need their assistance.

Pros

Everything is laid out well. All the different options are easy to find. The ability to include updates on each work order. Hows smoothly it runs on mobile devices. The ability to include pictures with each work order.

Cons

The price can be somewhat high when you have alot of admins and power users that have the ability to create work orders but thats offset by everything Upkeep has the ability to do. Also there is no charge for basic users that can put in/request work orders

Reason for choosing UpKeep

After the success we had from our trial run we knew this was the one.

I was able to create and assign work orders quickly and easily. This has allowed me to increase efficiency in resource management and improve communication with my maintenance team. Also, the mobile app is very helpful and allows my technicians to be instantly notified of new work orders and update their progress in real time.

Pros

What I liked best about this asset operations management solution is its ease of use and how quickly I can create and assign work orders. The platform is very intuitive and allows me to have a complete view of all my assets, schedule maintenance tasks and track work orders in real time.

Cons

Integration with other systems and software can be a bit difficult. Although UpKeep offers a variety of integrations, I have found that some of them can be a bit tricky to set up and don't always work smoothly.

If you're specifically looking for maintenance management software, this works pretty well. But if you need a lot of different types of projects and tasks to keep track of you'll probably need something else.

Pros

Great for adding tasks with pictures and descriptions. Customization is simple and and helps keep communication among the team pretty easy.

Cons

Nothing really wrong with it, but its hard to stay competitive with many other task management softwares that do similar things. Though Upkeep does focus on maintenance and construction type project tasks, its still hard to see why this would preferred over other general task management softwares like Asana. If you have all kinds of projects to keep track of, maintenance or not, it could get burdensome to run various softwares. Probably easier to keep it all in once place that can do it all.

Pros

Users and technical users can submit and check status of tickets from anywhere, the phone app for mobility is especially helpful for both the requesters and the technicians.

Cons

Doesn't automatically email notify requester of the current status of the UpKeep work order ticket. Would be fantastic if this feature was included to notify user of when the ticket status of In Progress, On Hold, or Closed and include the technicians update comments.

My general experience is very good and very satisfactory, initially I started only because the rest of the team was reluctant to adopt a new method of work, until I organized a training on the app. Now everyone is using it and very happy with the results.

Pros

This software is perfect to keep work orders organized, so that none of them is overlooked and you can guarantee good service to your customers. It also allows you to keep all your assets in order and put together an inventory of all your parts.

Cons

In my organization we speak Spanish as a mother tongue, and the translation is not very good or even incomplete. Even if the google automatic translator is used, there are fields that do not translate.

Earlier we used to issue our facility and equipment maintenance requests by filling physical request forms and it would take more time to reach to the maintenance technicians thru the maintenance engineer/supervisor and getting update of close out of the request as well. Also we consumed lot of papers to generating the requests. Once we implemented UpKeep, we started issuing the maintenance requests through the system and the same time the Maintenance engineer get system notification and he could assign the respective technicians without delay to solve the problems and getting the update immediately after completion of the task as well as easy tracking. In addition, we maintain all of our asset data and status within UpKeep and easily traceable.

Pros

The tracking of the maintenance requests and the assets entered in to the system. Also, the monitoring the status and generating/extracting reports .

Cons

Some times felt that the data update in the system bit slow.

Allow non-ERP users to purchase a sub-tier to be able to use some of the Enterprise features.

There were a few problems with the uploading of documents but the support was there to help get that moving!

Pros

This is a completely mobile system for maintenance. Any factory that is thinking about a mobile/digital maintenance department should consider this software. This application is very integratable with a lot of other applications/programs. The teams are great to work with as well. They are always adding new feature and making fixes to improve process flows and make things easier to manage. I love it!

Cons

The only thing I can see that this system lacks is more Upkeep people to implement more improvements! There is a lot of potential for this application that I can see.

Originally all work orders were recorded on paper, Upkeep eliminated that process. It also provided a more accurate way to track productivity of technicians as well as monitor frequency of maintenance performed on certain lifts.

Pros

Data saved online; removes the need for a local server Easy to use and understand Comes as an App also that can be used on your phone

Cons

Plans are a little expensive Starter plan should allow an administrator and at least one limited-technician or its useless Slow process of getting all parts & assets added into the program.
