Cons

upkeep has a limited level of hierarchy and uploading documents and photos takes a lot of time to finish up this leads to delays in submitting a given documents

### "Keeping Up With Upkeep "

Generally speaking, upkeep gives you value for money, its cons are few and its pros are just too many. If you want your team and business to do better and get rid of paperwork. I recommend upkeep

Pros

Firstly I love the fact that it's user-friendly. The pricing and value are also something to look at; using upkeep is value for money compared to other applications. The pricing is fair and the mobile application is also one of the best I have seen it keeps me updated at all times. Also, our team can now have access to the same information in real-time

Cons

One of the biggest pros is its poor notification system I also have to check for invoices. it also takes a bit of learning to understand how it works on pc.

### "Customizable + Versatile but needs work on Reporting + Toggling"

This tools allows folks from various departments to gain insight on maintenance tasks for our 500+ locations - whether they're responsible to complete it or simply a stakeholder looking for status updates. It's changed the way we prioritize and view outstanding work, and makes it easier to schedule it out based on resources.

Pros

Easy to use on-the-go for mobile app; very detailed on assets and locations; love that I can add multiple people to be assigned on a task; love the way tasks filter; love that I can share a link for external users to submit a work order without them needing an account;

Cons

Reporting isn't very clean or easy to drill-down; can't toggle between workspaces very easily; can't list a single asset but select it for various locations (instead have to put a new asset on each location) ; wish the permission settings were a little more varied instead of opposite extremes of the spectrum; image upload tool isn't great (it takes a long time and you can't drag/drop or select multiple); wish I could add more than 5 images to a work order; inventory tracking is a bit clunky; wish it was integrated with Zendesk; wish there was a resource planning / calendar schedule function in the app

### "A great CMMS for Supervisors/Managers in CMMS"

Approachable friendly rep, responsive professional customer service, and software that is easy to use and incorporate across our company. Price and quality great for it's functionalities, and looking forward to continued use in the future. Can use a few technical detail tuning, but overall great performance thus far.

Pros

Customer service is very prompt, professional, and don't waste time. Responses are timely and to the point, which is appreciated when things go wrong and I need quick answers to get back on track. Once you use the software a few times, it is easy to use and input data fairly quickly and repetitively. One of those software designs that 'clicks' once you are familiar with the basic functions. Smooth functionality and design make it easier to use across my team. Training on this software was quicker for some of my staff than other softwares we have used. Also cheaper than other alternatives on the market.

Cons

Doesn't really give you the option to organize fleets by category for larger companies. We haven't come across this option, but as we operate as unique segments of the company, we've had to reorganize how we seperate our functions to co-exist in this system. Not a big deal, but might make larger companies hesitate if they are more division based and organize their CMMS accordingly. Swapping between Apple and Android products is a little quirky, as terminology and location of buttons might differ. This might throw people off when working across multiple devices in a team.

### "Time and Efficiency "

As our company continues to grow UpKeep will be a key tool in managing assets and workflow.

Pros

We currently manage 9 Facilities over about 100 mile radius. When I travel to a facility I need to know exactly what tools and supplies I need. I love that someone can not only put in a request, but can also take a picture. I always go, knowing exactly what I will be dealing with. We have only been using this for about 6 months and I am so excited to continue using and finding new ways UpKeep can save us time and make us more efficient!

Cons

Usability with some of the advanced features is tough sometimes, but customer service is great at helping me figure it out.

Reason for choosing UpKeep

UpKeep offered better ways to oversee multiple facilities. Also was easier for our IT department to link to our employee portal.

### "UpKeep CMMS Software"

Pros

UpKeep is a lightweight CMMS solution that is accessible via web browser or dedicated Android and iOS apps. It is easy to tell that UpKeep was built with a mobile-first viewpoint. This is when comparing to other CMMS solutions that have been adapted from desktop to mobile. This mobile-first outlook makes UpKeep extremely user friendly. The ease of use allows our maintenance techs to prioritize, dispatch, update, and complete work orders from the shop floor on their mobile devices. It is pretty quick to add work orders and tie the to specific assets. PM is a large part of our maintenance program and UpKeep's PM system is straightforward and simple without lacking depth.

Cons

Being a lighter-weight software solution, I feel there is a small sacrifice between depth of the solution and ease of use (and price). UpKeep is very affordable but I would like to see more connections and options, especially when linking Assets to Repeat (PM) Work Orders.

Helps us demonstrate to our Corporate Family that we are being good stewards of their equipment. Allows us to track the PMs as well as the breakdowns. Has helped increase accountability and communication with the team.

Pros

Customer service plus the ability for any of my team to submit a request. The way they submit the request is very simple so they don't have to be really trained how to use the system. Has helped us create more than just a paper trail for our equipment, it has allowed us to demonstrate our stewardship and our ongoing efforts to proactively maintain our equipment. I also really like that the software is web based and bridges across all platforms we use. We have iPads, Android phones, iPhones, and Microsoft based computers. This allows each of our users to be able to have access at anytime.

Cons

Would be nice to be able to schedule recurring PM's Monthly on a day not just a date. This is a minor detail though that is easily solved with just a little more front end work on the scheduling.

### "Strong Tool for Managing Assets"

Pros

UpKeep allows you to organize projects, repairs, and asset management in a single centralized tool. It's ability to streamline communication is invaluable. Further, you can analyze all repairs that have occurred, manage expenses and make informed decision based on that information.

Cons

The data input stage can be time consuming, though not challenging. It's mostly administrative. Anything you want to track can be input into the system to allow for historical reference on repairs.

The best way to describe it is we operate as a team. Specifically want to recognize the customer support staff who helped me.

Pros

What I like most is how intuitive and user friendly the system is.

Cons

There are a few limitations that the system has, such as limited levels of hierarchy, but what is great is that they are receptive to feedback and are making revisions to their system based on customer need.

Without UpKeep's preventive maintenance scheduling and tracking, we would be having periodic downtime.

Pros

I get to easily integrate other software to make my use of UpKeep seamless. I also like that I can use the preventive scheduling feature which saves us a lot of cost since our assets are well maintained.

Cons

For someone who hasn't really used any asset management or inventory management software, it might be difficult to navigate the website. But after a while, you get used to it. Adoption is easier if you have used similar software before

This program is a huge time saver and major asset to maintaining multiple buildings across multiple sights. Having everything right there on your phone and instant updates is awesome

Pros

having the ability for all of our staff to just snap a picture and put a description of something that needs fixed is a huge help to the facilities dept to ensure everything is functioning and in working order for our guests visiting.

Cons

figuring our how to set up and create preventative maintenance schedules was a little tricky to figure out and navigate

I have used several different platforms for work orders and I believe this one to be hands down the best!

Pros

I think the ease of the software is the best. Learning how to use all the functions is fairly simple and when used head to head with other similar software or apps, you learn pretty fast why UpKeep is worth the investment.

Cons

My only complaint is that whenever you use the mobile app it sends notification for every little entry to all users on your system. If someone is filling out a work order and putting in what they have done and used it sends like 4-8 notifications that the particular work order is being edited. This makes your phone or pad go off repeatedly. I would love to see the notifications only come up when a new work order comes in, when someone puts it in progress, puts it on hold and completes it.

We were able to streamline maintenance requests and set proper processes for approvals and procurements of assets.

Pros

Ease of use, easy to deploy, learning curb for users of any skill level is minimal. One of the best mobile application UI. Have been using it for a year with out any complaints from users. Loved the feature which allow non-registered users to make request and track progress of request from a web browser.

Cons

The pricing structure should be a more aggressive as competitors offer for lesser. Reporting and dashboard services should be available for all subscribers.

### "Time saver and great work flow"

Pros

I have been using UpKeep for almost two years and have found it very helpful in managing a small commercial maintenance crew. We maintain 9 self storage facilities and its perfect for managing work tickets. I like that there are several levels of users from requesters that see the work needed at their sites, two levels of technicians, admin controls and also reporting for owners. I like the fact that I can assign work orders to technicians with ease adding my own notes to the work orders. The technicians can leave updates in the work tickets to show the work completed. their mobile App works really well and is easy to navigate. UpKeep has been a great program with many valuable features to help manage maintaining our facilities.

Cons

There is really only one feature that I would like to see implemented and that would be having the ability to schedule work tickets with one touch from the work order main page.

By switching to upkeep we have been closing our more work orders, and greatly improved team communication.

Pros

The system is so easy to use and implement then our previous CMMS system. Maintenance guys love it, and use it daily! This can't be said for most systems. The software appears to have been designed using first principles. It makes everyone's job easier instead of harder, while improving team communication and performance.

Cons

The editing of reoccurring work orders (PMs) could be improved. Frequency can't be easily changed, and it would be beneficial if editing a reoccurring work order could be done in one pass.

UpKeep is helping us to formally document what maintenance we have been doing all along. it also allows everyone to see what is happening and when, which assists in scheduling. Proper documentation of maintenance is becoming a necessity to maintain our current customers and attract new business. In setting up our system, it also provided an opportunity to exam our current practices and make some improvements.

Pros

We are using UpKeep for our maintenance needs throughout the facility. I made an outline to help me plan how I wanted things to work and it was easy to tailor the system to all of our needs. I found the meters particularly useful. There is plenty of videos online available for those of us who learn visually. (like me)

Cons

To date we haven't really found a downside to the software. Like most new programs there is a period of adjustment, but it was very brief.

### "Not perfect but does some things very well"

Allows my maintenance staff to keep tasks organized and prioritized. Has decreased the amount of time spent talking about tasks and more time getting them done.

Pros

Seems easy for our maintenance staff to use. Helps cut down on physical paper forms.

Cons

scheduling tasks is a problem that needs a major overhaul. When scheduling a maintenance task the app needs a box to check to indicate, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual. This is an easy fix but would turn the overall rating from a 50% to 90%

Upkeep is helping to keep the department on track. We appreciate how the dragon of daily details is kept at bay while helping to get a grasp on future concerns at the same time.

Pros

Upkeep is great at helping us compile our facility management information in one central location that is easily accessible to different users in ways that are suitable for them.

Cons

I can't remember whether there are more ways of tailoring the automatic email responses for those entering requests into the web form at higher license levels or not .... This is an area that it would be great if there was more flexibility.

Reason for choosing UpKeep

The combination of user friendliness, a comprehensive feature set and a decent price point won the day.

### "Upkeep, what a great tool for keeping ontop of daily tasks"

I am solving an issue with upkeep where in the past my technicians were just accepting any work and not concidering its priority. Upkeep has allowed me to make every job have a priority and the work can be completed in a timely and organised manner. Away with emails, then a brief on work, then a follow up. Upkeep is all in the one location with all the information the technicians need and they are also able to update the jobs status via the mobile app so I can see the status of the job without following up.

Pros

What I like the most about upkeep is the way any user can send a request for work and from there on in its logged into the system and updated/catogarized/prioritized as you go. In the past this was all via email and takings notes which gets lost and forgotten

Cons

Some of the features on the mobile version had some bugs but I believe that most have been resolved now. There are still some things on the mobile app and windows version that has some issues but not a major setback.
