My business used this software for around 12 months while the company sold merchandise. Pros I like that its pretty straight forward and self explanatory. It doesn't take someone with a lot of previous inventory knowledge to pick up and start using this software from day one. Cons It doesn't have all the features that some alternatives softwares have. A FIVE star review thus far. Pros This is an amazing help to our little mom and pop store. I love all of the features although I am still in the midst of learning. It is such a great way of tracking your inventory and ensuring that your count is correct. I love how you can reconcile items with ease. It certainly is worth the cost. The team is awesome when you run into an issue. Cons I wish I could afford all of the features that they have to offer. I tried the AI for purchasing orders but we had too many variables from vendor to vendor. It is great if all of your vendors are similar but in our case it was hard to determine invoice discounts and other items. Love the feature but not a good fix for us. I've learned enough playing with it to keep myself busy but anytime I have a question, the AI is actually helpful and the Humans are a delight. Pros The customer service is outstanding. Being a frequent issue creator means I get to talk to them a lot! The chat is so quick and so easy, sometimes I pop in just to say "Hi!" Cons It's not tailored to books sales and doesn't handle card processing. If it were tied to Ingram reporting and databases, it would be a game changer for us. Then I got caught in a scam card processing lease through Clover. Clover inventory management is trash. I've been a long time customer (9 years now), and they've always answered all my questions and been so helpful navigating through any points of confusion I may have had. Pros I love the reorder process for all my po's. I used to spend hours getting them all sent out, and now with their automatic reorder points and par levels, I can have all po's sent off to my vendors in 30 mins or less! Cons I didn't like the multiple steps required to make a case of something. For example, if i sell a 12 pack case of energy drinks, to get those to properly deduct the right case qtys as single cans are sold, it requires quite a few steps and sometimes confusing math. I'm usually able to resolve occasional problems right away. Cons Sometimes our products don't load in our catalog, which can be hard for work. But usually, a quick refresh or a browser restart helps. However it is not easy to find a product that we have on hand and no longer in the system to find the history of the product. Pros The ease of importing from Shopify to Thrive, and customer service was top notch when help was needed. Cons The bulk edit reports needs help, not able to hide columns so you can see the ones you need to work on side by side without having to scroll left to right constantly. Would be really nice to edit just the product or products you need instead of the entire catalog which includes archived products. Way too much informaiton not needed and would speed up the download time to generate a Google sheet. Would also would be nice if can enter in additional field such as country of origin which would save a step in by having to enter into Shopify. As well as placing the images in the correct order of the variants to show online (I think this is more of a Shopify issue). When we need to add sku's we have to click each time and no there's autofill of drag down option same with other fields such as price. Time consuming when you can have 100 attributes and you have to add 99 attribute boxes 1 at a time so you can enter the variant weight & color. We never know what and how many of each product we will receive until unpacked and sorted. Like anything, it needs some features that seem to be basics (or obvious), and has other features that would not have crossed my mind to use in our warehouse. The support team is usually very helpful and courteous. Sometimes we need something more along the lines of production software, but Thrive has also helped manage these types of activities for us too! Pros Support members are very responsive, and try hard to understand the situation. Most of our big issues have been escalated to the engineers and often fixed in about 48-72 business hours. Many helpful options to make some complex items (bundles and assemblies) as well as some features we don't use just yet. Cons There's no organizing by SKU number, so far; by name or barcode number only. They always suggest downloading the product list and organizing on a spreadsheet, but not all of our employees who would need it have access to do that. When using in tandem with BigCommerce, we had a few "behind the screen" issues with programming, but the support team was very helpful. Anytime I have an issue they are quick to help out. Members of the team like Sean have met with us one on one to help us maximize the benefits of the software. Pros Thrive makes it easy to manage create and manage my inventory for our Shopify and our Clover POS. This software is simple and easy to use. Thrive saves me hours and hours of work. Cons Some features are only available for the higher tiered packages. Wish they were available al a carte for smaller companies that don't need the features of the higher plans. Owning and operating a business is a second (post-retirement) career, so this product has been very helpful in keeping up with all the details and metrics of product management. Pros I really like the built-in and custom reports that can be generated to get a comprehensive view of the status of the business. The customer service is also top-notch and very quick to assist in answering questions. I feel as though they really care about ensuring that the users are getting the most out of the product. Being able to remotely utilize the system for product management is essential. Cons This is likely an end-user issue, but on occasion, the "Bundling" option is a bit glitchy with listing "components". Again, more than likely, this is a user issue. There definitely is a need for something like shopventory. Cons There are a few things I wish they had on the software but with the team working hard I feel like they will add more stuff. I would like to see a option where if you get the same product from multiple vendors that it tell you to get a product that is below par from the cheapest vendor first. This would save lots of time trying to figure out the cheapest place to find that product again. I feel like that is where computers are supposed to step in and save time which is money. It should also alert you if most of your vendors went down in price so you know that your company should probably lower price as well. Shopventory does have an where it will automatically guess when you will run out of a product which is really cool but is a little pricey. Cons I would like to have an option to synchronize with Shopify or not, after inserting a product into a system. But we don't have this option. It's automatically synchronized with Shopify. This program is the best and easiest to use. I have tried a few. Their Support Team is the best. They go out of their way to help you solve a problem is it can be solved. However, users do make not smart moves sometimes. Some of these cannot be recovered from. I had a problem with SKU's last week, their tech support went in and helped me reset all my SKU's to something that was valid. No one stops until a problem is solved. Pros The software is easy to use. A lot of features are being upgraded on a regular basis. Seems there is a way to do whatever you want to accomplish. If it is a feature that would benefit a many of their clients, they upgrade as soon as they can. Cons Not much really. Every so often, I find something I would like that it doesn't have. However with the help of their Top Notch Support Team, we can usually find a way around to get what I need. You are also dealing with someone in the United States. No language barrier.
