### "One Cause for NonProfit"

Overall, our nonprofit had a great experience with One Cause. It's our third year using it and we are fans.

Pros

I think this is a great product with exceptional customer service. From the sales people to the tech service and customer care, the team was AMAZING! Efficient, responsive, intelligent, and great educators, I cannot say enough about the quality of customer service. The reports and communication with the guests and donors was very good too.

Cons

I still wish the auction items could be enlarged for better viewing for the bidders. Also, there were a few things in regard to registration and guests that need to be streamlined.

Pricing and good reviews. Great dashboard. Nice sales team.

### "Overall, a good platform"

Overall, it is good. My one suggestion would be to change the look of the different help articles. I spent hours reading and learning about features that did not apply to me. I only learned that they did not apply to me by calling the customer service line.

Pros

I like that it is very easy for our event attendees to use. We rarely run into issues with them.

Cons

The ticketing process is confusing for sponsor tables and it does not have enough functionality to fit our needs.

### "OneCause for Online Auction"

We have had great experiences for several years with . They answer all questions in a timely fashion, the crew they have sent to our events have been helpful, engaging, and proactive.

Pros

has many functionalities that allows an organization to use it for all event and auction needs. The Auction is easy to enter and has lots of features. Love the texting option, even for supporters not attending the event.

Cons

Wish there was a feature to identify if you have an item hidden with the click of a button, rather than having to go through each item individually.On the mobile interface, creating a QR code for each package so bidders can scan and go directly to that item when looking would be helpful, rather than having to scroll to find.

### "Best Auction Software!"

This has been wonderful for me! I am a one person event staff and the back end of the software helps to streamline so much! It has saved me hundreds of hours through the years! I tell everyone to use this software. It has made my life so much easier!

Pros

I have been using /BidPal for almost three years now. The software is easy to set up. The help center has everything you need to make the most of your software! It's easy to learn both on the administrator side and also on the side of the attendee! I work with many volunteers to organize events and love that this is simple and software that I can grant the hands on people access to help with some management functions.

Cons

We use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge for donor management. I am still working on integrating these two applications. I've recently learned there are some third-party programs that can help with this and will be looking into this more.

Pros

I love how customizable everything is, especially the microsite/Giving Center.

Cons

What I like least about the software is that you need to connect images from a third-party site, like Google Drive, and can't directly upload images.

We love it. So do our donors. We are happy to continue with this product.

Pros

I have recommended to every organization that I have worked with. They truly enhance the event planning and fundraising management experience for the staff. We bring in more money, we reach more potential donors, its easy for everyone to use, and most importantly, our staff are less burdened by all of the things we would have to manage and navigate by hand if we didnt have a system like this in place.

Cons

The reporting and analytic features are taking some time to adjust to.

I LOVE their customer service. It is by far the best support I have ever received from an online company. There is never a long wait time when I call, they are always patient, friendly, and helpful. I get the answer I need to assure our fundraising and auction runs smooth.

I so far have not had any cons. I really believe they have set us up for success.

I have been very pleased with and have been a loyal customer for 8 years. OneCause is innovative and on trend with offering products and services that help people like me that raise money for a non-profit. Their staff is always willing to jump in and help every step of the way.

Pros

is dedicated to their customers, their platforms are designed to simplify their fund raising needs. We have used mobile bidding for many years and it is super user friendly to set-up and for guests to use on event day. In recent years we have used OneCause for guest registration too. Donation appeals are implemented with ease using OneCause and the appeals have now become a major source of revenue at our events.

Cons

integrates with many CRM systems but unfortunately not ours, Tessitura. This is not their fault it is something we need to figure out on our end.

### "Customer Service at it's Best"

The best asset that has is the people that work there. Every question is quickly answered, and the phone support staff seems genuinely excited about helping. For "in person" events, the support staff is invaluable. Even with virtual events, our normal person was just a phone call away as the auction was ending

Pros

The product is easy to use. It shows the items and packages very well online. The bidding features are excellent, and help encourage donors to bid. It can be updated and changed rapidly. The custom features really help donors focus on the needs and the stories of the organization, and add to their desire to bid on tiems.

Cons

There aren't any cons for us right now in the way we use the program.

### "Expensive and Unreliable "

Everyone has their own experience and expectations, so I will not go as far as not recommending this solution. However, there are a lot of other solutions that offer just as much for far less. I won’t be returning to this solution anytime soon.

Pros

All in one system makes the auction flow smoothly. For an out of the box system, BidPal is one of the originals in this space. The user interface is quite pleasing and easy to use from the attendee perspective.

Cons

Very expensive for the use of the app and even more expensive when you add on support staff. There is also a lot of prework that takes some skill. My recommendation, or lack of one, stems from the support staff on hand who missed the cue to show the live text to give on the screen and we fell massively short of the goal for that and I attribute this to the engagement factor being missed. The company was very quiet about the response and avoided me. Yet they had no delay in the final billing. I am not a fan of the percentage system and when I used them in 2015 this was the case. All auction items had 15% right off the top. These were items we secured for the Nonprofit, not them.

### "Good Option for Mobile Bidding"

It was a good initial foray into mobile bidding for the silent auction at our fundraiser, but we did not use them again the next year. We found another option that was more user friendly and was able to avoid the glitches that we had experienced with BidPal. I will say again - their customer service was excellent and I have not used them since they became .

Pros

The move to mobile bidding was a big deal for our annual fundraising event. BidPal (now ) fit the bill at the time. The rep was fantastic and the customer services is excellent. The app was not hard to use, but has its drawbacks. I used this in late 2017, so things may have changed or improved since then. Our guests did like the change to mobile bidding even with the hiccups.

Cons

We ran into some glitches at the event. Live auction items appeared in the app for bidding when they were supposed to remain separate. This issue was fixed quickly. If a winning bidder changed their mind, the item automatically reverted to the next highest bidder and charged their card. Caused me a few problems after the event, but their customer service was excellent and helped me through the issues.

Your off-site support person \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], was excellent. She was very helpful resolved everything we needed and did it quickly helping in every way. She was easy to work with, knew all the processes and helped with whatever i needed to do that I couldn't do myself. (We are a very small office.)

Pros

It has lots of features and options, however, I found that we did not use many of them.

Cons

There are too many options, some of the areas are non-intuitive, you have to keep looking around to find what you need. Tutorials were not great, in some cases almost non-functional regarding what was asked.

Overall, it has been a good experience. The process has been fairly easy and the support has been excellent.

Pros

The customer support and the ease of getting answers. The sleek look of the website.

Cons

The inability to duplicate prior year's events without much effort. That you cannot upload multiple pictures for silent auction items.

### "Useful software, missing some helpful features."

Silent auctions are much easier to run with this program than to run without. Items are easy to put in and bidders can see items and packages in a user friendly way.

Pros

This software is helpful for events. Having all of our information about the event, as well as a place to purchase sponsorship, tickets or to bid on items is great. This platform allows everything to be in one place and is appealing and ease to use on the front end for donors and participants.

Cons

There are some features lacking that make larger events very time consuming. Table number and bidder number assignments take time as the program always seeks to assign bid numbers alphabetically instead of by table number. There is also some issues with linking images to the main website, it does not allow you to just upload the picture but rather you have to link it from a URL.

Customer service is great and for the most part, there is usually a workaround for some things as they are encountered.

Pros

This product is easy to use and their customer service team is great. Over the years we have seen improvements made to the software to enhance its features some even based on our recommendations. The digital platform is great!

Not being able to change certain things after they have been imputed.

### "A great product, but suffers from too much self promotion"

Pros

creates a great experience for the end user. Registration is relatively easy, as is purchasing tickets and bidding on auction items. It has helped to greatly streamline our event experience.

Cons

The software's back end (for administrators and office users) is extremely convoluted. Each event operates independently of each other, meaning that no constituent details are shared between two events. The software loves to promote itself - nearly every page and email is plastered with the branding or logo, which takes away from the exposure that the organization is supposed to get from hosting a charity event. Trying to share your event on social media? It's not even worth it, as the only thing that your users will see is the OneCause logo and not any details of your event in the link preview.

The customer service from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] made all the difference for me. If I didn't receive the stellar service from her, I would've been quite frustrated! She really helped me navigate the program and now I feel like a pro!

Pros

The reporting is awesome and once built, the website looks great. It does take a lot to learn how to create the site, BUT \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was absolutely incredible and had stellar customer service.

Cons

I had difficulty with uploading pictures and files. I needed to have our graphic designer upload them for me.
