### "One year with wellness living, so far …"

Pros

This scheduling tool is very user friendly and intuitive. There are multiple different ways to view the schedule and different ways to do the same thing which makes it easy for everyone to use.

Cons

I’d like to offer hybrid (in person and virtual) classes that are under the same class. Right now we have to do two separate classes.

### "Extremely poor customer service, inability to roll out updates well, base product dysfunctional."

Marketing program works some of the time. That's a problem when you want it working 100% of the time. The customer loyalty/points system doesn't function if the customer is a monthly unlimited member. This company has very unskilled first-level customer service reps that use blaming the business owner as their answer for issues instead of looking into the issue. I used a group on facebook that was run by wl users/business owners and monitored by wl itself (not outright, but through folks that reported to them) and found it to be much more useful. Many times, especially after updates, some of my customers couldn't see/access the booking page. Wellness Living's answer? Have them all delete their cache. In the new system I'm using (WIX Bookings), we haven't had to do that ONCE in almost 1 year. Wl added lots of features that are useless unless you want to pay more money for them. Poor quality at the core.

Pros

I like the lesson I learned about reading a contract over before signing it based on what any of their representatives said. My fault. Will never do again.

Cons

The way they would utilize bait and switch tactics to continually increase their prices.

Since we choose WellnessLiving the team was very helpful to make things smooth, we made a migration from a previous software very smooth and we never had any issues whit the platform. It's been always very stable and I see day by day they keep improving the software, that make us feel comfortable that we can keep working with WellnessLiving.

Pros

WellnessLiving is great because it's easy to use and has everything you need to run your wellness business smoothly, appointments, sales, clients, rewards, marketing, etc. They keep updating it to make sure it stays useful and relevant for you to help business to grow.

Cons

I would like it to have greater flexibility to create more promotions and different combinations, including product sales.

I've been using Wellness Living software for the past year, and it has completely transformed the way I manage my wellness business. The intuitive interface and comprehensive features have made every aspect of operations smoother and more efficient.

Pros

We love the fact that the software is allows us to effortlessly keep track of client profiles, appointments, and purchase history. Being able to manage billing and payment processing in real time is major. We can easily generate invoices, track payments, and set up recurring billing which was a major problem for us due to the complexity of previous systems.

Cons

I would like to see more dedicated account managers for clients that would help build that client-customer relationship better.

### "Expensive for what you get"

For the most part it is a good system, allowing client followup, scheduling and payments. Customer service was only fair.

Pros

Had the features I needed, but ended up paying for extra features I didn't need.

Cons

EVERY extra feature cost more $. Signed up for the subscription with a lifetime rate that 2 years into it went up, with a second increase 2 years after that. Discontinued them because what I was getting wasn't worth the extra $.

Since our inception we've been focused on delivering a superior software experience at an affordable price and with top tier customer support. We have continuously invested in our product and added features that customers have requested, ranging from minor enhancements to features for adding entire new revenue streams to your business. As the price on everything has gone up, we did everything possible to hold off as long as we could, but in 2021 we had to raise our price for the first time in eight years. Last year, we also conducted analysis that showed us that a large number of our customers are using only some features in the software but leaving others completely unused, all the while paying the same price on our subscription (which sounds a lot like your scenario). To provide you with better value, we retired our previous pricing structure and replaced it with an entirely new structure. I'm adding a link to our pricing page below, please know that under the new structure we have plans available at or below your previous monthly rate with most or all of the features you had been using up until this point. ### "Superior in Every Way Compared to Other Options"

The onboarding process with Wellness Living was so superior to Mindbody. We started with Mindbody the year before we switched to Wellness Living, and the onboarding process with them was lacking. Wellness Living is dedicated to making you feel comfortable with the software and getting you fully setup. We've also had great experience with customer support. It's such a better option compared to Mindbody.

Pros

Wellness Living is so nimble. We haven't run across anything that we can't do, which was often the case with Mindbody. We also love that our employees quickly figure out how to use Wellness Living, even without extensive training. It's very intuitive, once you're familiar with how it works. The integration with Zoom was seamless.

Cons

Managing both virtual and in-person classes could be a little more seamless. It took a while to teach virtual students that they must log into their Wellness Living account in order to take a virtual class. Also, it's hard to set up teach pay when there is both a virtual and in-person class. We often need to manually make some adjustments.

### "Great Software; Learning Curves to be Expected"

I would describe it 4/5 stars. The software is smart and up to date, and for the most part makes my life easier. However, I have had really confusing issues come up from the small details which have made life harder.

Pros

The ability to create/edit/delete multiple classes of the same type at a time. The Zoom Integration feature. Ability to create memberships on autopay THE APP. I love the App.

Cons

No calendar view available for client side of software. Creating "client types" which directly relate to different membership benefits is confusing. There is a constant question of "did the software do something weird again, or is it the client?" Some clients find the log in process confusing.

### "Expensive, Only for the big business"

Not great. Not sure about the upgrades they did on their roadmap because it was cumbersome. Trying to cancel was impossible. Couldn't get an exit interview at a time that worked for me and when I could it was going to take over a half hour of sales tactics that I didn't have time for.

Pros

Lots of reports. Clean looking. CRM is amazing and customizable.Shared accounts between family. Easy to link and move credits. Great for packages & series.

Cons

Too big for a small business. Things didn't work right, like gift certificates. Screwed up every single time. There were some I couldn't find. I couldn't send anyone to purchase online. The search function contained a large number of filters but didn't seem to filter the results properly.Balances on accounts were sometimes difficult to manage. Getting answers from the online help database was ridiculous. You look for something and you have to filter through tons of articles that had nothing to do with the issues you were searching for. If you find what you are looking for, save it in a word doc because you will never find it again.

Using the APP has decentralized my global business so that instructors no longer have to rely on me, as sole owner, to promote their worldwide classes. We had been suffering from lack of income during Covid but now we are up and running again even with Covid challenges. The APP gives freedom and independence to instructors without management help from me as the global LLC brand owner.

Pros

The biggest impact the APP has made to my fitness and certification business is to allow our 100+ instructors to promote and manage their own classes without global management involvement from me as the owner. The APP got rid of the drudgery of tracking hundreds of classes on a spreadsheet that change regularly. The best feature is being able to list a future class, getting a dedicated link and being able to promote it ahead of time. People can sign up in advance and you always know which clients will be in class that day. WellnessLiving also empowered instructors to start teaching classes online. Most had lost their in person group exercise classes during the Covid pandemic and were hesitant to learn new technologies for both online teaching and an APP too. But the APP is so logical to use that they are overcoming resistance and going forward with online classes, some for the first time. Development was far less painful than I had anticipated as we were up and running with an APP on all smart phone, tablets, and computers in 2 weeks.

Cons

What I liked least was in development, getting an Apple Developer account for the first time. However \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], my WellnessLiving Achieve APP rep. walked me through each step and we got it done. The picture on the APP did not turn out oriented correctly but we are working on that.

The first person I spoke with after requesting a demo, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], was patient with me to trouble shoot the exact demands of my very unique business structure. His trouble shooting identified the features that were right for me and he was quick to advise when a product was unnecessary or redundant. His plans for the workflow was what sold the product for me. A lot of customization was necessary. The workflow turned out to be smooth and simple in actual practice and is working out great.The other reason I chose WellnessLiving over other products is because the name fits our branded stretching system. We identify with the description of wellness and life.

Overall, WellnessLiving has been a great addition to our business. It allows us to have one platform to manage current members, schedule classes and events, and create a variety of purchase options for clients while also providing solid automated marketing options to continue to build our business.

Pros

This software has unlimited options and the ability to meet the needs of fitness studios. We use the class scheduling feature primarily. It is straightforward and easy to implement and maintain. If we need to change or cancel a class, the system walks you through a simple interface to cancel and sends notifications out to clients right away. Additionally, it can act as a CRM tool, allowing you to create and implement marketing campaigns, follow leads up, create visit and purchase campaigns, etc. The system makes marketing super simple and easy to implement.

Cons

The most challenging to work with is the learning curve. Because the system is so robust and has so many features, you need every minute of the three one-hour onboarding calls to set the system up. If you need to change anything in your scheduling, calendar, purchase options, etc. it can feel overwhelming as they all connect together. if you miss a piece in one area, your change does appear, or worse doesn't work the way you expect. The upside is their support team is awesome and responds quickly to requests.

Overall our clients like the system and it covers what we had to have. The product team is pretty responsive at reaching out to understand upgrade/enhancement requests and it has grown a lot in the 1 year that I've been using it. If you just need payments & reservation this may not be the system for you - but if you need more, like the virtual integration, multiple membership types and packages, and some marketing/communication (this is new) then this could be a great fit! This allowed me to replace Zen Planner, Keap/Infusionsoft and Zoom.

Pros

When we were looking for a member management system the important features to us were: \*Membership contracts/setup & billing in one system\*Ease of using the app or site to register for classes (and adjust as needed) \*Virtual - we have in person and virtual clients (and some hybrid) so it was important that the system was able to integrate all of this in one place The system does a great job with these aspects and more and we're very grateful for that!

Cons

Struggles we had\*Data migration - we were using a competitor prior and were told data migration for class attendance history would be easily completed ... it was not. It was finally straightened out, but involved a lot of manual work on my part to get all 125 members information correct.\*Customer support - it can take days to get a response to customer support inquiries, they quite often refer you to the support database (that is hit or miss) to search whether someone else has reported the same issue as you and can take quite a while to resolve issues. I worked in IT for 15 years, so I understand there is always prioritization of issues/ upgrades etc. I just think the process in general could be better. \*Reliability - the coaching app especially can be unreliable and often just "spins" and needs to be shut down, re-opened etc.

Nice to have so many options in one place!

Pros

We enjoy the ease of the platform for our team and users. If support is needed, we are able to connect with a support rep within a desired time frame, in specific situations when extra support is needed, we have been connected to someone who can jump on a call with us to work the problem through. The updates are explained in great detail, and the ease of recording and hosting as a user is a good win.

Cons

There is no integration with google, or outlook, calendar where they will be able to link their reservations (with a zoom link attached) to their calendar. This causes a lot of barriers, especially in the corporate world when people are run by their calendars. This has been 'in the works' for almost a year now. Membership vs class pass difference is not clearly highlighted, neither is the ranking tier for member types.

Pros

We were definitely nervous to make a switch from Mindbody. But after another rate hike on top of paying for three other services for perks, reporting, and website integration, we realized it was no longer the best fit for our yoga studio. We reached out to WellnessLiving for a demo, and they walked our entire staff through the software, showing us how everything was already packaged together. Not only that, it was more intuitive to use, had more features, was less expensive, and their merchant service would save us over 8% in payment processing! We were sold. The data migration occurred after our last night class, and we able to sign in our clients and accept payments through WellnessLiving the next morning. It seemed like their support team was on call specifically for our staff, providing prompt responses and resolutions to any minor problems that popped up. And this level of support continues to this day. Since making the switch, we've slowly unlocked WellnessLiving's potential, bringing in more clients, adding more memberships, and improving the overall client experience. What we love most of all is their eagerness to listen to our feedback and develop the features our yoga studio needs to thrive.

Cons

From time to time we get minor issues with their automatic payment system that caused a few headaches for our clients, but it was never anything major, and the payments always made sense in the end. But WellnessLiving took our issues to heart and implemented a few bug fixes and features that hopefully resolve those issues from popping up in the future.

Wellness Living incorporates all of the same functionality from my old system in an innovative, visual, intuitive way AND includes the functionality I had to pay extra for! I love the ease of managing schedules, adding clients, enrolling clients in classes and maintaining client information. The integrated rewards program and review process are fantastic. My staff required very little training because of the ease of use and visual nature of the system. My clients also find the system as well as the app intuitive and easy to use. Booking classes is quick and straightforward and they can manage their own account data. They love the integrated rewards program. Each Wellness Living team member I encounter always answers my questions and works diligently to resolve any issues I have. I love that pictures of the team are posted on the website . I like being able to put a face with a name when I speak with someone on the phone. Since converting to Wellness Living I have cut costs, reduced the time spent maintaining the backend system, improved customer experience and increased the number of walk-in clients to classes. I am happy to be a Wellness Living Partner and highly recommend the Wellness Living Business Management Solution and the team. It has been over 6 months since I cut the cord from MindBody and I couldn't be happier with the Wellness Living business management system.

Cons

While there were some glitches in the move, I was supported by the On-Boarding support team through the migration and well after while we resolved issues. Every part of the transition and data migration was manageable. The support staff from On-Boarding calmed my fears - he was with me from start to finish and personally made sure that any and all errors were immediately corrected. Further, as I continue using Wellness Living, problem reports are addressed as a priority. Requests for enhancements are taken seriously and documented so that I can see the progress. If I have questions regarding functionality, I am never merely directed to documentation. A technical specialist often sends a video of the process along with a description of the process.

The onboarding process was simple and the on-going support has been amazing. They are continually bringing out more features and I'm excited for what is to come!

Pros

Wellness Living allows me to manage my clients easily, nurture them with automated emailing, integrate with my website, manage payments. For my clients it is even better. I have also got the white label app, this means I have my own app. I never thought I'd get an app so quickly and so easily. Clients love it! They can watch meditations on demand, book classes, and manage their account.

Cons

FitVID video features and metrics could be improved. I.e. add to favourites, create playlists, improve the view Custom emails are great but missing some fields

### "Great for Newbies; Not Recommended for Switching"

I've been disappointed overall. I had high hopes that switching for MindBody to Wellness Living would be a cost and hassle savings for us. It's neither. While my bookkeeper declares it's saving us money, I know there are countless and invaluable hours of my time not logged that I spend trying to troubleshoot and navigate this software. Training is insufficient for both onboarding and staff follow-up. The importing service is incomplete and resulted in me losing 5 years of detailed sales and attendance data, plus hundreds of class and event descriptions.

Pros

The visual layout and function of this software is appealing and easy to read. The overall aesthetics are good. In our initial switch, the function for our clients to update their passwords was excellent and increased our initial participation. It is also fairly easy for new clients to use from our website.

Cons

It is full of bugs and programming shortcomings. Servers are slow. Staff App is buggy and often inoperable. Credit card swiping feature on mobile devices is virtually non-functional. Sensitivity of the software on the "wrong" browser, wrong device, after updates, etc is frustrating. At least once a day I encounter a major function that isn't working. Returning clients have difficulty updating log-ins, staff has trouble navigating the schedules and filters and limitations, notification settings are so convoluted that clients and staff get spammed with useless auto-emails they don't need.

MindBody is cumbersome, ticky, and increasingly unaffordable for small studios. I'd been with them for 5 years, experienced a 100% cost increase and a 100% frustration increase without getting a 100% increase in function. I had hoped Wellness Living would live up to their own hype as being a reasonable and less frustrating alternative to MindBody, but they did not. For any studio new to management software, Wellness Living would be fine. For anyone fully trained in MIndBody without a full-time admin person, I would not recommend switching.

New features are being added constantly. My favorite feature is the white label app as well as the email marketing. I have also loved my website which I just recently switched to wellness living. Everything is now seamless for my business.

Pros

I have used several club management software systems over the last 15 years and wellness living exceeds all of them in every category! They continue to add value to their services! I love that they value my feedback and continue to make improvements and upgrades to their features. I could not be more thrilled with wellness living! The integration was seamless. I wish I had worked with wellness from the conception of my business.

Cons

I do not have any complaints. Occasionally there is an issue that is not easily resolved which can be frustrating. However, support will stay in touch updating me on progress and drive to resolve.

### "Not worth it. "

I'd say overall it was good in the beginning until they started making so many changes they couldn't keep up with themselves. I hope for their sake they can get it figured out, because they don't have an awesome reputation amongst studio \[sensitive content hidden\] right now. And our outboarding process was so painful it left a very bitter feeling around the whole experience. We weren't upset about the company when we first were leaving, we just needed something different, but they made it really hard not to be.

Pros

We signed up and used WellnessLiving for a couple of years before deciding to move on. It was comprehensive, relatively easy to use and had functions that we needed.

Cons

Every time they added new features, it was cool, but they never made any of the features awesome. They only worried about adding the new. Meanwhile, we had customer service issues every day because of the glitches in just the normal scheduling system. I didn't care about the upgrades if the basics didn't work. And our outboardinf process was a nightmare. They have outsourced their customer service and it is apparent. that they aren't actually concerned about the customer.

Hey Kelly, We're all about customer feedback and then taking that information to continuously improve in any way we can. We're doing it with our support team, we're doing it with our pricing plans and we're doing it with our software. We get requests from customers all the time, "why don't you add \_\_ feature", or "I'd love it if you could integrate with \_\_ platform", and then we build those features, which we release in our updates every few months. The impact can be amazing because even a simple enhancement to save a few clicks on one page can, over time, save staff hours of admin work, it helps your business and it also helps us be a better platform. We're sorry to hear that your experience wasn't positive when you were closing your account. It is our policy to require a phone call when you request an early account closure prior to the end on a 12-month plan, although I am glad to see that after speaking with our agent you were able to close your account on the timeframe you had in mind and without fee. So far so good! The customer service has been excellent and whenever I have a question our onboarding specialist is on top of it almost immediately.

Pros

The client account management and history is a great new feature for us. We love the ease of use for our clients.

Cons

My least favorite thing is the data entry and conversion to wellness from our current booking system.
