It has saved us so much time. Pros Very easy to use, templates for all scenarios and with the prospect of more functionalities for us to use down the track. Cons sometimes syncing with accounting software takes an extra step, however i think this is all dependant on the internet - on the day. Cons I sometimes find it hard to navigate to what I need to do eg; sending a review and where it is located. We have been able to adapt various functions to our own use, rather than what they were intended for, so the system is versatile. The support is super and best of all, being an Australian company, they are right here so we get very quick response and the software is made Australian laws and requirements in mind, rather than American or European. Overall, I am very positive about this system and we have found that the more we use it the more we find we can do with it. Cons We would like to see more in the employee dashboards, such as their goals but apart from that, there isnt really anything we are disappointed with and the EH team is very open to clients providing ideas for the development team. It saves me time, money and overall my employees are happier using the system and being able to have everything in one place and online. Pros It is easy to use and simplifies a lot of what would be manual processes when it comes to HR and on-boarding of staff. Cons There is so much more you could do with this platform - expense claims for example. Also letting people know when there is another Beta option to try out, I have rung up in the past to find out about any. " January 15, 2018 5.0 Pros Employment Hero has allowed us to move on from a lot of the manual practices that we had in place. It's so much more efficient for us to send our contract electronically and have all personal details in one place. It has really taken away a lot of manual work and simplified things for us. We also love being able to pull standard reports quickly such as staff numbers, anniversaries and gender numbers. Cons It would be really great to be able to have our International staff on EH as well. And I do find some of the reporting a little tricky but its nothing that I cant work around. Administration Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "EH platform made HR record keeping easy" November 26, 2018 5.0 Pros Document control of company policies, record keeping of HR documents, leave management etc. Tasks traditionally took many hours are now done paperless and there'll be no argument that the employees have not received documents. Cons Understanding 'variables' in the contract template was a little hard because I couldn't find answers by going through 'Help' or manager's manual. I was preparing a contract for one of managers and it kept revering to my position/my name instead of the manager's. Once I figured out why it was doing that, it was all fine but perhaps this needs to be added to user's manual. One thing I'd like to have in EH platform is a new employee to acknowledge that he/she received an induction. I know I can assign induction tasks to my team members but from what I can see, there's no area for the new employee to acknowledge that he/she received the induction. Hero shop gives us as small employers the same advantage as big business we can entice top employees to stay because they have the same benefits and discounts from the platform. A happy employee is a productive employee - Thanks Hero! Pros Easy HR Docs, templates in the box software, just add company logos and additional company details or leave out what isn't relevant - easy peasy! Cons Integration with payroll is still a little clunky - Admin/owner have duplicate file, ended employees show as errors. Payslips do not show annual leave balances. We now have it all in one place, where everyone can see the information and all checklists are allocated where they need to be automatically. Once you have the EH system populated and fully functional, it's a breeze. Basically, it's all there for you. Great work EH. Pros User friendly. Ease of use. Functionality. Support Team go out of their way to assist in solving any problems. EH are innovative in updating the product by including new features. EH provide webinars for Admins to view and learn. Cons There are some minor problems: 1. Employee names do not appear in alphabetical order of surname. This is problematic, as all payroll and HR systems are based on alpha surname. 2.
