The product is straightforward for event administrators. It gives you the right control to design your event while providing a good interface for attendees. We have been very pleased with the ease-of-use for our attendees too. The 100% browser-based delivery means no downloads for attendees. Our event attendees have continually rated Accelevents very high in our post-event attendee survey. Their support team is fast, and the knowledge base website has answers to most questions. Cons The gamification aspect could be improved in the platform. It's not bad, but it could be better. Pros I liked the idea of being able to have a live exhibit area. Cons Administrators still had to be designated as speakers to have functionality in that session. Weird to have to register speakers as attendees to be able to see other sessions. We offered to pay money to have an Accelevents person facilitate the event or train us beyond their not-so-helpful documentation and training events. They refused, saying we were too small without even quoting us a price. Live chat support sends you back to the documentation. We finally gave up a week before the event and went elsewhere because we couldn't guarantee we could provide a good experience for attendees. Review Source PS Paula S. You get great value for money, there are virtually no real bugs and issues and were there are, they jump into fix all issues very quickly. Attendees enjoy a secure environment and love the experience. Pros Hard to find something I don't like. The Platform itself is very intuitive, the flow very logical and easy to follow. The customer support is unparalleled and the attendee experience is always positive. We use it for a virtual conference held annually. Cons Really nothing. Maybe the worst thing about Accelevents is that I only get a chance to use it once a year for our annual conference and then not again until the following year. Accelevents has completely streamlined the experience for us. The platform itself is so easy to use and it has helped to clean up the data from our events. Pros 1.Ease of use – the website is super easy to navigate and each area is very clear how to set up. Even the landing page.. for someone with no web experience I was able to design our landing page to fit our needs. 2.Registration form – it is completely customizable, so you are able to capture the information that you need for each attendee. You can also set up traffic links within the platform to easily track where your attendees are coming from. 3.Speaker / Sponsor organization – it is easy for our speakers / sponsors to go in and update their information and now you can assign them tasks for items they need to complete. 4.Onsite check in – as mentioned above the onsite check in and badge printing is super seamless. And attendees who didn’t register ahead of the event can register onsite. And you can easily pull reports and post event and get real time updates of attendance. a.You can also update the badge design in the platform which is super easy. 5.Mobile app – there is a mobile app option that allows attendees to keep track of the event and important information, you can also set up push notifications as well to make sure they are notified of important things happening. Only slight challenge is getting attendees to initially download the app. 6.Communication – their team and our account rep are always super responsive and answer any questions we have had along the way. Cons 5.The onsite equipment and badge cost is separate than the cost of the platform. They use a third party vendor to supply. They have been really great to work with and no issues with them, but something to note if you plan on using their services. If any issues come up, they are usually solved almost immediately. Pros It's generally easy to use and has a lot of features. They also have a wonderful support team that's quick and knowledgeable. Cons There are some features that are still a little difficult to work around. For instance, you can't order the speakers automatically by last name. But you can drag them around, as needed. Pros So far, it has been a very easy product to learn and to teach. When we make changes, they are reflected immediately, there is no lag time. The Accelevents team is EXTREMELY responsive and helpful! It's probably one of the quickest response times from a vendor I've ever seen. Cons There are a few small things that could improve the overall user experience that we have recommended. If they are implemented, the quality of the product would increase significantly! It met all our expectations and with their constant updates they are always improving their product. Customer service is quick to resolve issues. We have worked with Accelevents for years and it has never disappointed us. Pros Ease of use. Our attendees were able to login and participate with ease. We have great participation with the live chat during the events. If a problem arises customer service is quick to respond. Cons It would be nice if there was a way to include more individuals on camera (similar to Zoom). We hit our fundraising goals in our one week auction and our bidders really liked the online and mobile Accelevents experience. Pros Our organization just completed an online auction as a fundraiser and we used Accelevents as our platform. Everything went very smoothly and the whole experience was a plus, plus, plus! One real benefit to Accelevents was their 24/7 online support. This was particularly helpful to me because I often worked imputing auction data at night, so any questions or small issues that surfaced after business hours could be easily addressed. The team at Accelevents was very responsive and helpful. Our bidders loved the auction site, the mobile capabilities, and found the checkout and payment process was a breeze. At the end of the auction Accelevents provided downloadable spreadsheets of the entire bidding process as well as the winning bidders and their payment details. Another win-win for us was the affordability of the Accelevents rate structure. A final benefit to using Accelevents is that we can keep our account information online so that we can use the platform over and over for future raffles, bidding or donation opportunities. I would highly recommend this service for any of your auction or online donation needs. Cons Sometimes when I was inputting text for an auction item the cursor popped back to the beginning of the paragraph. It was frustrating and slowed me down. However, when I reached out to the Accelevents team, they acknowledged the problem right away and confirmed they were working to fix it. In the past we have never made over $900 on our silent auction portion of our reverse raffles ... with Accelevents, the past 2 years we have raised $2900 and $1900. So well worth the money. Pros I have now used this product for 2 silent auctions at our Band Parents Reverse Raffle. In the past, we would make under $1000 on our silent auctions and would have to deal with the vultures hovering around the tables. With the Accelevents silent auction, people are bidding constantly and I LOVE that my guests get a text message once they are outbid. No longer do they have to run over to the tables constantly to see if they are still the top bidder. They have it all in the palm of their hand. Also, as the primary organizer of the event for 2 years, as "go time" approaches, paranoia sets in and I start to second guess whether everything is set to go. This year I messaged them in the wee hours of the morning the night before the event and got an almost immediate response as well as getting some last minute questions answered just hours before the event started. I haven't had the chance to use the other portions of the product, but if they are anywhere near as good as the silent auction, I'm positive they won't disappoint! Thanks Accelevents!!! September 6, 2018 5.0 We have used Accelevents for 3 events, actually encompassing 8 different online auctions. They have been great to work with and very quick to answer questions. We are a small nonprofit in a smaller market, so we appreciate their low cost, but feel their product is top shelf. Our (not tech savvy) patrons have found the platform easy to navigate, and love the addition of mobile bidding to our events. We recommend them to every who asks about our experience, and will continue to use them. Pros Cost , ease of use for bidders, ease of use for staff Cons I wish you could more easily change the order of items once uploaded (more like a number system, like a Netflix wish list), and I wish that we had the option of sending out blanket notices to our bidders ("Auction closes in 10 minutes, place your best bid now," or a thank you to all bidders after the fact). Pros We looked at several auction systems for an annual charity auction to move it from a physical auction to a fully online auction. After looking at about 5-6 competitors, Accelevents seemed to be the most reasonably priced and easy to use software. A lot of other systems require a monthly subscription which is not reasonable for small organizations. February 6, 2020 5.0 Pros We used this software last year for a car raffle and were very anxious about the project and the software. However, the Accelevent team walked us though all the steps in a timely manner and software was very easy to navigate. This year they added an app that has made offsite sales easy. They also added more staff to assist with questions and an automatic email with the question and answer so it can be referenced again. Just yesterday they updated the tool bar to work better....always improving! Cons Graphic manipulations in the website building. Accelevents was perfect for us! The 1st time I used it was the 1st time we put the auction online--raising 33% more funds than in previous "bid on paper" years. Thank you for making our auction a big success! Pros This software is so easy to use--very intuitive, not too many features, but it has the right ones. Customer support is great--in chat or email with quick simple responses! Low cost--we raised $8000 and were able to keep most of it last year. Integration for payment was awesome! Cons We have multiple items in our auction that are the same (parking spots)--would be nice to list it on time and give the 3 spots to the 3 highest bidders. This was the first time our organization moved it online and it could not have been easier!! The set up was simple and easy to comprehend, and customer service was superb! I could message them at any time and they would typically answer within minutes -- even the day of our event! I also liked how you can pick and choose which features you want to use. Cons My only suggestions would be: 1.) I had difficulty printing some of your how-to articles. I would suggest making them available in PDF version so they are easier to print. When I reached out for help, I received the response "they're made for online reading only" 2.) I had difficulty uploading a photo for the banner on our event page. I would suggest looking into this.
