It has helped keep me on task and not rely on lists and memory for service and project needs.

Pros

Integration with out business was so easy given that many of our end users are tech averse. It has been a time saver for everyone to quickly make us aware fo their IT issues while also moving on with their day.

Cons

The option to setup a choclately server thats already preconfigured/customizable would be awesome. For me, i dont have time to do it at my site.

Overall experience is great , cannot do without this tool especially for remote workers

Pros

Easy to use and access remote workers and accessible anywhere as long as you have good connectivity and I also like that it is secure with to facto authentication

Cons

Patch management doesnt take sometimes and sometimes cannot connect to remote users , would also like to be able to have both unattended access and confirmation of access depending on the user I'm accessing

Remote project data management product and the access control options are impressive and easy reports preparation and sharing.

Pros

The monitoring functions and the easy permissions management and the data accessibility via the product is nice and even on remote services management the options are powerful. Through the tool it can be easy sharing screens and collaborate remotely with other team members.

Cons

Easy platform with plenty and stable features and the customization is also easy process and nothing to report as an issue.

Pros

Getting started with the system was very simple and the ability for access control and data management across projects is amazing. The easy file sharing with great performance speed which helps on project time management and the data analytics production is effective.

It's been very helpful for assisting Agents with technical difficulties, but quite often I've had to resort to less favorable means of support because Atera simply would not allow me to provide support. Its a shame really.

Pros

It's an all in one IT solution to managing Computers, Tickets and much more. Very easy to use and understand.

Cons

It's buggy, when it works it works great, but in my environment, we've already migrated away from Atera as a Ticketing solution. We still use it for accessing computers remotely during the Pandemic, but unfortunately whether or not I'll actually be able to connect to these computers is a flip of the coin. Only seems to work 50% of the time.

It is probable that you are working as a third party with a different company. Our support team is working 24/7 and can be contacted via live chat or email, and is always happy to answer any questions you might have, and iron out any of the issues you might be facing, be it connectivity issues or configuring the PSA side of things.

### "They hit the sweet spot..."

Excellent experience. Wish I found them years earlier.

Pros

They started with a clean slate, fresh thinking and single purpose. There is no bloat. They hit the sweet spot. We ditched a system that was costing us more, but price isn’t everything or even the most important thing… We are now doing more with our RMM than ever before. -It’s easier to use, does everything we need and the support is fantastic!

Cons

If you run it up on your mobile device, the UI is a little more limited, for example I could not find a way to run scripts. To work around this, navigate to the device you want and tell your browser to switch from mobile to desktop version of the site. They are also releasing a native mobile app soon, perhaps it will include ability to run scripts on mobile in a more streamlined manner.

Pros

What I like about Atera is it's user friendly GUI, simplicity and overall performance. Atera has plenty of features, especially at it's price point. Unlike other RMM's, Atera offers a base price, with an unlimited amount of devices. This is a huge pro, as it allows us to test certain things on specific devices before rolling everything out, without being charged a "per device" fee. It's also nice to have in general, as with the remote support integrations, it can be utilized to remotely access (via integrated Splashtop for FREE) specific machines as well, while still avoiding that "per device" fee. The integrated ticking system is quite convenient as well. It saves from having to purchase third party software to handle similar tasks (which are required by most RMM's nowadays.) Overall, my business currently relies on Atera for a multitude of tasks, which it performs very well at.

Cons

The only real con I have for Atera, is that it currently does not support the ability for a customer login account. This is kind of a downer for us, as some of our customers like to login to view their site/network (of course with limited access). To be able to do this currently requires the use of multiple technician licenses, which can get Very costly if multiple techs at multiple clients want to have access. That aside, the only other downside is that there's currently no integration with Bitdefender nor Cloudberry.

Easy management of hundreds of endpoints/customers.

Pros

Splashtop is a very lightweight and easy to deploy streamer. The RMM client is also very lightweight and resource light compared to others. Email Ticketing and portal ticketing work very well. Reports and metrics are very comprehensive and easy to generate. The recent addition of a chat client was a great move, and adds a few steps of fucntionality. REST API (See Cons)

Cons

Quickbooks integration is available but is finicky. No matter how much we work with them to get the few wrinkles ironed out, it never seems to improve (Class types not populating properly once imported to QB) REST API is very powerful, until its not. There are a lot of options in the API, but there could definitely be more. They offer a community forum to request features, but any API requests seem to go unseen/unattenteded.

overall experience has been very good. there is a well supported and goal focus'd member forum. the willingness for all participants to help each other \[including our organization - which is quite new to the group\] is truly excellent, & well appreciated for us 'newbies' that are ramping up.

Pros

we love the ease of implementation. basic inventory and application service pack installation is very easy. i like the ability to integrate with a variety of support products -such as multiple AV and Endpoint security tools.

Cons

coming from Teamviewer and similar products, the Splashtop product is sluggish and lacks features such as simultaneous dual connections to a single endpoint, and 'soft' support for dual monitors. we would like to have more granular reporting for the AV products that are delivered thru the Atera overlay.

each of the above RMM tools offer excellent variety of options, and great implementation tools. for us, after evaluating them, we found that Atera was a better fit for our organization.

Thank you for the detailed review, Benaron! It is correct that the included Splashtop integration doesn't include all of the top tier features, which works as an upselling point for them. We are also making the PSA and reporting side of things a focal point as well, since there are things to improve on from end-user perspective. We already have plenty of customization on several reports, but we are aware that there's always room for improvement.

Pros

The best part about Atera is it is super easy to navigate. Managing several companies at once is simpler with the way the site is setup, it's all really clear.

Cons

Patch updates don't always seem to work smoothly. I have had to go through it a second time.

I have had a great experience with the software. When I had questions or issues, answers were provided and issues resolved.

Pros

It is simple and easy to use with more features added every quarter. They keep adding items to make it better than I need. We are a small MSP and look at maintaining just a couple hundred computers.

Cons

Having to pay for addons like the networking discovery. Product is good and works as advertised but for me its not a value added feature.

Pros

Atera gives me the tools I need to provide remote monitoring and management of my client's IT. It's got a robust and easy-to-set-up NMS, excellent remote access tools and automation is straightforward and intuitive. Initial setup was very easy and I can deploy the agent via an installer or Active Directory. There is an Agent for MacOS which actually works. There's a nice little client database for me to track client configurations and notes. There is a helpdesk system that I do not use at present as I have another combined helpdesk/ordering/billing system that I have used for some time. Atera charge by the agent, not the node, meaning it is incredible value for money and it enables me to be ultra-competitive on pricing too where the situation calls for it.

Cons

I really like the system and it's really hard to knock it. For a PSA tool it's just what I need and it suits me very well.
