I love brightwheel. I was easily able to comminicate with my kids teacher and see them doing day to day tasks and activities. I knew what was for lunch and snack.

I am able to see my kids progress and achievemnts I know when upcoming events are going to happen I am able to cherish and treasure precious photos of my kids and see them be themselves without mommy

Our school has utilized the BW basic account for the past two years solely for check-in and check-out purposes. Recently, we upgraded to the premium account few month ago, and we're thoroughly enjoying its benefits! All parents are thrilled with the real-time updates, and teachers are experiencing seamless and efficient communication with parents, without any delays. This upgrade has significantly reduced the administrative workload in the management office. Highly recommended!

Initially, the app appeared very user-friendly and it has room to grow.

I am generally satisfied with using it because it seems to provide overall convenience such as attendance, notifications, check-in and check-out, etc.

Pros

This is convenient software from a parent's perspective. It's great to be able to intuitively check your child's progress. Smooth communication with teachers is also an advantage.

Cons

I didn't feel any inconvenience in using it, but when I previously contacted customer service, the response was a bit slow.

Excellent! I wouldn't switch from this program! Families and staff also are very pleased.

Pros

The process of adding a child is easy and quick. The daily reports allows the teachers to add a lot of information so the parents know what day their child has had. It creates trust.

Cons

I do not have any cons at the moment. :)

From the time I actually signed up for the program, the customer service is always quick and informative. I really enjoy actually speaking to someone rather than a "bot" answer for every question.

Pros

Brightwheel has opened the door of communication with my parents without taking the time away from the kids when I need to inform the parent of something that is happening. One click and I can immediately text a parent or send a picture to show a parent what is happening.

Cons

I would really like a document hub that the parents can access so I didn't have to send the same document over and over.

It is simple to use and very helpful to the day care providers and teachers. Also, the services provide are very professional and well managed. The costume service and technical supports are excellent and very attentive with the clients.

Cons

Some services are no provide in Canada, such as payments method.

I'm solving parent peace of mind concerns for families who trust us with the care of their children. Parents love getting pictures and messages from the staff during the day, telling us how the day is going for their child.

Pros

Brightwheel staff are available during the day (and you can even leave a chat message after hours). They are responsive to your issues and they actually follow-up after resolving an issue to make sure that it remains fixed. The support team is knowledgeable, helpful and polite! They leave you with the impression that they care.

Cons

We offer flexible schedules. Some families' schedules vary day to day. It would be a great asset if actual attendance could be calculated against billed attendance. Right now, this is a manual process and leaves us open to mistakes.

Reason for choosing brightwheel

I chose Brightwheel because Mark Cubin was an investor and I know that he only invests in sound companies who have a good purpose.

Brightwheel offers a multitude of benefits, from streamlining administrative tasks and enhancing communication to fostering parent engagement, but occasional technical glitches or system downtimes may pose challenges that require prompt resolution from the support team.

The product was fairly easy to use and the process integration took no time to get familiar with.

Cons

Like any and all systems there is always going to be that one flaw but this is very minor and I would have to say overall the system is great, however it could allow more freedom of uploading our own documents.
