It's so easy to use, it is worker friendly, and it is also parent friendly. I love being able to send real time updates to parents about their child and even posting pictures for them to see while they are at work. My overall experience has been wonderful and I would recommend to others that decide to use brightwheel in the future. Pros I love that we are able to communicate with parents on a daily basis. June 21, 2024 5.0 I started using Brightwheel 3 months before we enrolled our first students. Giving myself time to set up and implement how I wanted our center to operate was so helpful and the support team was there for me, guiding me along the way. They have never disappointed me and if the software had a foreseen limitation to its use, they would offer suggestions for a work around solution. You can't get better support than that when you're in the middle of problem solving issues. Pros The billing feature. Auto pay, Billing plans, Reports, and Library of charges. All these features are built in to keep up with invoices and charges that need applied and change from week to week. Cons The schedule feature is difficult to keep up with as we offer drop in, part time and full time care. It just doesnt give the flexibility we need to schedule our students and staff. We need more of a click and drop feature. Brightwheel works well for us. Pros We love the communication piece with families, billing is easy to do and is paid online, parents can see the daily happenings as they happen. We like the scheduling piece so the \[sensitive content hidden\] can enter weekly schedules and teachers are able to see the schedules on Brightwheel for each day. We are part of the Expense trial and we are liking it so far - we are able to take each bank transaction and add what they debit or credit was for to seperate each expense or income. Cons I don't care for the mulitple screens you need to go through to do billing or scheduling. Cons Sometimes it tells me parents payments failed when they didn’t. I can find what I need without having to click through every icon to do so. It’s simple but efficient! Pros The interface is very user-friendly! As a mom, I don’t have extra time to play around or click through all the icons to find what I’m looking for. The icons are clear and info I’m looking for can be quickly and easily found.
