Pros We love that brightwheel now allows for enrollment paperwork to be signed digitally and for fees to be collected through the app. It is one less thing for us to manage. Parents continue to love having all of the information and daily updates about their child in one place. Cons Our teachers have complained that when they make a mistake in a group log there is no way to edit it at the group level. They have to correct each child's log. I was scared about making the switch to brightwheel but I really am glad we made the switch now. Pros I love how easy brightwheel is to use. Other apps that I’ve used before have not been this way to use. It is cheaper than what my company was using before and I love that. It’s so easy to manage my students and see where they are at all times. I’ve never come across any bugs or issues. I love that I can easily use it on my phone or my computer if I have more time. It’s very easy to share pictures with parents and other staff. I’ve never needed to reach out to customer support so no advice there! Cons I actually really love brightwheel. I haven’t come across anything that I would change about it. It’s been a breath of fresh air after the other app I came from. The information provided helped me ask my daughter specific questions about her day. As well as know if she would be tired or hungry at pick up time. You can also save the photos to your device. You are also able to invite family members so they can see how their granddaughter is doing for example. Cons It would be great if when your child ages out there was a folder of photos you could download. Or maybe a list of highlights!
