Overall it’s been a really smooth experience. It gives us a clear overview of all assets, makes it easy to find what we need, and simplifies sharing both internally and with freelancers. Smart folders are especially useful for creating different views for different stakeholders.

Pros

I really like the clean, intuitive UI and how easy it is to customize everything to fit our brand. It’s fast even with large files, and features like smart albums, tags, and flexible metadata make it easy to structure things exactly how our team needs. Overall great value for money.

Cons

Nothing major so far, but we work a lot with RAW files and previews can sometimes fail or not load correctly. It would be great if preview support was more reliable and worked across more file formats.

Pros

Easy to use, clean interface, and a very intuitive way of organizing and sharing assets. It makes collaboration simple, both internally and externally, and feels well thought through for creative teams.

Cons

There are a few areas where workflows could be slightly more streamlined, particularly when managing larger sets of assets, but nothing that significantly impacts day-to-day use.

It’s easy to use and navigate. I use it daily, so you gradually learn how to search for things efficiently—for example, always using the style number instead of the style name.

Pros

It’s great that you can group things and create internal systems depending on what the folders are meant to contain.

Cons

It can be a challenge when uploading a large batch of files. The system doesn’t notify you when 100% of the files have been uploaded, which means some files may fail to upload without you realizing it.

We needed a replacement for our old DAM tool, which was discontinued. It turned out to be much better - easier to use, faster, and feels fresh and on-brand. Also, their support team is great - friendly & fast.

Pros

Simple to use, very customizable (you can upload your logo, font, so UI looks on brand). Their support team is friendly and always eager to help.

Cons

Some features, like marking expired images, which we used to have on the previous platform and were very useful, are not currently available in Kontainer. However, there are workarounds for that.

Pros

I like that the platform can be set-up in a way where it closely mimics a certain brand's look or feel.

Cons

Kontainer fits all my needs. At first there can take some time to learn how to navigate it, however, I'd say it is quite intuitive. I'm not the one who set up our company's Kontainer though, so I cannot comment on how easy or difficult the actual setup is.

### "A good system and good customer service"

I was personally involved in making the agreement with Kontainer, and the entire process went very well. They have been very supportive in helping us create what we wanted – and at our own pace. Now that we are really starting to integrate it into the organization, I’m sure we will be very happy with it. I’m also confident that there are some great development opportunities ahead that we will make use of.

Pros

I think our contact with Kontainer has been one of the things I have appreciated the most. If we are even slightly in doubt about anything, they are always ready to help. Besides that, it is of course also a system that we are very happy with.

Cons

I would like to see even more use of AI in the future, for example for facial recognition and similar technologies.

Use it alot for design, it is super easy and has a nice interface. I use it more than our shared local drive.

Pros

easy acces to packshots, I use it a lot when making techpaks, finding old styles for overviews and new designs.

Cons

Missing style info. Could be nice if it was more like a linesheet with infomation and ways search different qroups across seasons.

Kontainer has a very intuitive UI and UX and smart shortcuts that optimize my workflow and thereby make my everyday office life easier.

You will have to make sure that everybody in the company use Kontainer the same way to avoid file doublets and misaligned work structures

I have overall had a nice experience working with kontainier. It is very intuitive and so even though I'm new at my company and was thrown straight into my work- I had no problem understanding how it worked.

Pros

I most like how simple it is to use, how easy and visually pleasing it is to organize files within it. Also, I much appreciate how I can create folders and share them with others.

Cons

I have had a small problem with being "locked" into certain folders without being able to get back to the rest of our content. I can however, easily solve this by logging off and on again- hence, its not a big issue.

We are very happy with Kontainer in our company. It helps us keeping things organized and easily accessible

Pros

I like the interface that is simple yet packed with functionality. And how you're able to customize the look of subpages within Kontainer to different contexts like a website. It's also very handy to be able to mark several images and crop them to specific dimensions in one simple flow. The customer support is very help as well and gets back to you quickly.

Cons

I miss more ways to search your images easily; for example filtering with/without people, landscape/portrait format etc. It could be an AI scanning the database to propose obvious ways to filter the images. I also miss a better and faster way to view and edit video material

Pros

The best thing is that I can see models wearing styles that I need! It makes my work easier. I love how visual and intuitive Kontainer is — it helps me quickly find the right looks and stay inspired. It saves me a lot of time and improves my workflow.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a bit too long to load previews or search results in Kontainer. It’s not a big problem, but when working fast, it can slow me down a little. Otherwise, everything works really well.

I think it actually is quite good. Not much to say. Only things that could be improved are more features in my view.

Pros

Looks really nice from an end user point of view. Also somewhat flexible. Really good back office support as well.

Cons

The admin tool is nice, but it could be a lot more user friendly. Really missing a bulk import function ourselves. We use Lotte who is really quick, but for your own sake as well.

Very nice tool from a sales point of view as it's a great way to provide our b2b costumers with all the needed material in a very user friendly way.

Pros

User friendly with search bar, easy to navigate with the setup. It's a great tool both internally in the company but also for the b2b partners that also use the portal a lot.

Cons

Not much i didn't like, could be the download procedure that can be quite time consuming or that Kontainer doesn't appear when you search for it on google.

By doing this, you skip some time rendering, as the system remembers your presets. Depending on the types and number of files, obviously, the download speed may vary due to the server capacity, but we do our best to keep it at full speed all the time.

Very good, i use it weekly both for internal use and managaing external users. Using the search for SKU or EAN numbers working with no complaints.

Pros

Ease of setup and use. Very easy to manage accesses for both internal and external file sharing. Super fast to give externals access to specific folders. Seach function is really good.

Cons

Can sometimes be complicated when working with a lot of folders, in terms of mirroring and moving files. Other than that, none.

### "Great connection between DAM and PIM - bad lead time on solving features"

Good, have help our company a lot. A little disapointed with the lead time to solve obvious features.

Pros

Happy with the connection between PIM and Dam, how they connect both assets and information, so we don't have to tag every asset ourselves.

Cons

It isn't very costumaizable. There is missing some obvious features and the time of getting them fixed is very long some times.

I like that it is very easy to share files, and manage files and the upload process. Futhermore theres good help from the backend.
