My auditing have become so transparent and manageable that I wish I could use it in future organizations as well. Pros I am using teammate for preparing audit programs for my internal audit engagements. This is the best software I have ever used for audit documentation purpose. It gives me real time updating facility and even my seniors can review work/ documents immediately after I update them. I recommend every auditing firm or company to get this software to make your documentation monitoring strong. Cons Sometimes I faced this issue that after opening a attached document, viewing it and then closing it. If I try to open another document attachment of same type, then it displays an error that previous file is still open and I need to close it, however, I have already closed it. Please fix this issue. I like that it keeps getting upgrades that are tailor made to meet the pain points of most audit firms Pros I really appreciate the issue tracking and recommendation closure features on Teammate. They make it much easier to follow up on audit issues, monitor progress, and ensure timely closure—very helpful for maintaining accountability and visibility throughout the audit process. Cons Limited in Power point outputs. We need to do a manual power point presentation to the board due to this. Pros I like the features of linking between different documents in the same project. Also being able to store exceptions or notes from prior audits into the teammate store, for ease of access and reference. Cons The new feature on the side that shows a brief summary of the progress when you open the project is not helpful and very annoying. Often times the linking or opening of workbooks do not work or times out. I've been having a long term issue of the link pasting, pasting links copied from prior. Ending up with 4 links pasted in a document, when I only wanted the most current one. I am the administrator of the tool, and it’s just a matter of adapting to it. One thing I can mention is that I find the documentation for TM AM to be a bit more comprehensive, which can reduce the amount of testing needed to understand each feature of the tool. Pros Some of the things I like about TeamMate+ Audit are that it is a tool very adaptable to the different needs of the department, but what I like the most is that it is very easy for auditors to efficiently complete the execution of projects. Cons I think it could be improved so that the evaluation can average the risk, even when assessed across different projects, rather than just showing the value from the most recent project evaluation as it does currently. Additionally, since it would be an average, you could visualize the evaluation for each project, perhaps in a report. Cons While TeamMate+ Audit is a powerful tool, what I liked least was the occasional complexity in setting up custom reports or workflows. Pros It's simple to record audit workpapers and evidence review using workflows. Cons Maybe this is just our organization, but users can't upload an audit program from an Excel file directly into a single project. Most of our audit programs are tailored to a specific project and therefore we need to adjust them manually in Excel each time to present to our management team for approval. Then we have to get our admins to upload the program into TeamStore so that we can import it. It would be great if we could ad-hoc upload an Excel file for each project without going through TeamStore. Also, sometimes the linkage between coaching notes and issues to the procedures is not very clear. Especially when you get an email notification - there is no mention of the procedure that they are linked to. Pros I really like that it is a very user friendly program. It offers very nice organization and a layout that just makes logical sense. Given these qualities it makes organizing and maintaining audit files that much easier. Cons The one thing that I did not like about TeamMate is the trouble I have had with the check in/checkout feature. Various instances, I have had TeamMate not respond to button clicks for checking out or checking in. Additionally, I have had issues where I edit a document, check in that document, and the check in does not register despite TeamMate telling me it did. Therefore, next time I log in, my work is not updated and I lost all progress. Pros The organizing and managing of projects is relatively easy to do. The added features not previously offered in TeamMate AM, offers an improved experience in audit management. April 14, 2020 5.0 Pros TeamMate+ has given us the tool we needed to power our journey to 'world class' auditing. It has really been a lifesaver since our office transitioned to home working - everything we need is still right there accessible securely through our browsers. A vast array of powerful features - and we're going to be using it as our entity's risk management software, not just our internal auditing software. It's making it easy for us to give our audit clients access to their reports, issues and recommendations - they provide us updates online - and soon will be adding their own risks and controls. The software makes it all possible and has saved us hours and hours of 'admin' time with its clever automation of audit tasks from recording time spent through to populating audit report templates. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others! Cons There is a bit of a learning curve having moved on from the prior TeamMate - and likely more so if you are totally new to TeamMate products... but this is balanced by the first class customer support that is available.
