Pros

An innovative company that are continually improving the product. Reward Gateway deliver a bespoke product whilst working closely with their clients to ensure they deliver maximum engagement from the platform. Great features for employees and employers with good reporting tools

Cons

Reports are sent by the account manager, it would be helpful to have the analytics at our fingertips. I believe this is something currently being worked on.

Reason for choosing Reward Gateway

I chose Reward Gateway due to a few factors over perk box: 1. Customer Service and sales process was very good 2. Perkbox offered perks that didn’t seem transparent offering something for free which signs you up for a subscription. I didn’t want to mislead my staff with any product we offered.

Visually appealing, simple to use for employees. Terrible from an admin user POV if integrating with an HRIS- no rules engine means we have to manually script all the rules into our CSV file before loading into Rewards Gateway. Not being able to "skip" levels or "send back" awards during the approval process is hugely limiting and creates a bad user experience on approvals.

Easy to use from an employee perspective

Cons

No rules engine for approval process: No way for the system to skip approvers if they've already approved earlier in the cycle (example, Manager may also be the budget owner or HRBP. End of approving twice for the same person). No rules engine for approval process: No way for system to recognize and skip a person approving as themselves. No rules engine for approval process: Cannot use management chain or any other rule for assigning approvers at different approval levels. (Have to script this into the SFTP file and manually maintain). i.e. level 1 approver: use nominees line manager. Or approver 2: route approval to nominee's HR Partner. Or line 3: all people in department x, route to x for approval. For direct cash awards that are paid outside of the platform (i.e. what GUILD calls non-monetary awards), there's no way to edit the suggested amount or "Send Back" the step to prior step. Means if an amount changes through the approval process, we have to cancel the award, ask the Nominator to resubmit, then go through the entire approval process again. Clients have very limited configuration options available compared to what GUILD support can do. Means we need to submit a ticket for basic set-up. Example: we'd like to limit the number of nominations a person can receive (example 1 per month) to help avoid duplicate awards for the same body of work. This is possible on the platform, but only GUILD admins can set it up. Pictures are not diverse (4 white males)

Pros

I like how easy platform is to use and how everything is in one olace. The discounts and rewards are actually useful, and it’s nice to have something that makes employees feel appreciated. It’s a good tool for boosting engagement without too much effort

Cons

Sometimes the platform can feel a bit confusing to navigate,especially when looking for specific features. Also i think there could be more options for customization and a wider variety of rewards

Pros

Brilliant discounts available to employees plus add on services like R&R. The merger with Edenred made sense as they were direct competitors and together they offer a brilliant solution. The customer service is brilliant as well, for employees and also for HR.

Cons

The cost is more than other companies, but the discounts and services are better overall and I would still recommend them.

Reward Gateway was an effective platform for improving employee engagement. It made recognizing efforts simple and meaningful, even though some features could be a bit more user-friendly.

Pros

I appreciated how easy it made recognising and rewarding colleagues. The platform offered a straightforward way to celebrate achievements and give people vouchers to spend at retailers of their choice. It was also easy to import colleague data and you’d get reminders for your colleagues birthdays or work anniversaries.

Cons

One downside of Reward Gateway was the occasional difficulty in navigating certain features, like setting up specific rewards or customisations, which could take more time than expected.

Pros

Having rewards that are valued for my performance makes me feel motivated to continue being a good employee and highlight my virtues, each reward earned is knowing that I am doing things well within the company. I also like it because it is where the company strives for the well-being of employees and also listens to us through the surveys they carry out

I’ve been chasing for a refund for the instant voucher which was falsely advertised and only when you pay for it, informs you that you can not use online. I bought this specifically for buying a window which isn’t sold in the store therefore had to use my bank card to make this transaction. I have been going back and forth and spoke to screwfix who have no problem to refund and sent me that in writing yet been chasing this useless and horrendous rewards site customer service with 2 high priority complaints and still no response for over 10 days which I’m out of pocket for the voucher I didn’t use or have any intention of using.

Pros

NONE What so ever, they will be rubbish at customer service and will never give your money back

Cons

everything about this company, this is just being run by cowboys hiring customer service advicers and managers who will ignore you

It’s my job to engage our employees and look after their wellbeing. To help with creating a impactful strategy, each year we conduct a Wellbeing Survey focused on the physical, financial and mental wellbeing of our employees. I can the trend out the results to decide what’s going to be most important to our employees and motivate them towards more positive well-being activities. It came as no surprise, that this year, with us switching to being a global and fully hybrid, flexible work culture our employees were craving connection and community. We have 600 employees globally and finding a way that they can connect, motivate and challenge each other was made easy with MoveSpring. The app has been a fantastic addition to our Engagement tool kit and the Wellbeing team made my life so easy with pre-designed challenges and lots of help with conversation starters for group chats and advice for how to boost usage. But best of all, our employees have loved it. We’ve seen so much sharing in the chat, lots of top steppers, we’ve had a book challenge, a fitness bootcamp, fundraisers and a step-a-thon. I’m really pleased to have this tool to add a whole new dynamic to engagement and how employees can experience wellbeing and their benefits at work.

Overall Reward Gateway is great, truly does what it says on the tin, it is a gateway to all types of rewards, mental health, wellbeing as well as financial rewards, whilst also offering to go above and beyond with things like cycle to work schemes and fertility help.

Pros

The offers are always changing which means you can get some really good deals on different shops at different times, also like the multiple aspects, that it isn't just discounts but wellbeing and recipes too.

Cons

Unfortunately the think I like the least is the app as sometimes it is very glitchy and doesn't work, or continually signs you out.

Overall, it is a fine product that has allowed us to make advancements in our communication with teams across the southeast, but we wish that the product would be consistent! We never know if we'll run into a software problem when attempting to do something, and that is very frustrating since we will likely get no help from the success team or support team.

Pros

We utilize the newsfeed and employee recognition features daily, and they function very well. We also utilize the platform as an internal website of sorts to share company communications, celebrate culture, etc. The smarthub building features are great, but we would like to see more design options (changing the color of things such as the horrible green default of the button features).

Cons

The customer service has been very unsatisfactory, and the video features are constantly broken. We're never able to get a straight answer on why the latter is the case either. Most of the time, however, the customer service team makes it the user's fault without proposing actionable solutions. We upload a video from our \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] every week, and it is a very common issue for the video to get stuck in processing or for there to just be no response from the video uploader at all. Again, we've brought this to the team over a dozen different times over our usage of the platform and have never gotten a satisfactory answer on why their product is faulty almost half the time. This is by far the greatest aggravation.Similarly, as said, we'd love more freedom in design and stylistic choices (colors, etc.).Also, the reporting features feature lifetime data-- this is super unhelpful considering that the data is based on people who are no longer with our firm and haven't been since shortly after launch. The data however still works off of those numbers, and there's no way to alter without losing other data in the process. We've brought this up numerous times and have never gotten a satisfactory answer from customer support.

Pros

Reward Gateway's implementation period was fast. Customer support is attentive. If you're looking for integrating an Employee Recognition program, they have all the features you need to be successful. Their marketplace is great too, and employees can really pick and choose how to claim their awards. Also, they're actively adding new features!

Cons

Customization of reports (especially for determining ROI or employee usage) can be better. You're limited to pre-made reports that you might not even use in the long run.Also, customization of names. The system prefers legal names but some employees go by preferred names. It would be great to have the option of using preferred names to make rewards and recognition more personalized.There are lots more improvements to be had, but I know the team is updating features periodically.

Over the past two years, I have seen a good amount of UI updates and I hope to see more, which include accessibility features. The team has also listened and worked at improving the overall software based on our own and our user feedback.

Pros

What I liked most about the MoveSpring software is that the content modules have customizable templates. We created quite a few scheduled content modules for our challenge and it was very straightforward and easy to schedule and edit. The templates help with content creation to get you started with adding more engagement to your challenge.

Cons

What I least liked most about the MoveSpring software is some of the nomenclatures. For example, the words 'group' and 'team' were referenced interchangeably by participants. They couldn't figure out how to join the group even though they were already in the group but actually meant that they couldn't figure out how to join a team.

So far our overall experience is very positive. We had an amazing implementation specialist and anytime we ask for help in the chat feature, we receive immediate support.

Pros

Since we launched the platform, we've seen lots of engagement in the awards and recognition section of the platform. Our managers enjoy being able to offer monetary rewards in real time and recognizing their employees so that the whole company can celebrate their success!

Cons

Would be good to offer a how to on writing the blogs, we created one but one wasn't offered by Reward Gateway. Would be nice to see the activity happening in the blogs more prominently like we do for the recognition and rewards as well as the option to add a GIF/meme as a reaction. Also, when the product was sold to us, we were told that it integrated with other software like Teams. In reality, we set up the integration. I think it would be good to be more clear on what integration means to someone not in IT.

It's mostly good. The product works fine, but isn't as fun as some others out there for employee engagement, rewards, and recognition.

Pros

The blog features and ability to create custom pages, smart hubs, etc.

Cons

The mobile app is useless. The viewability of the product is OK overall. It isn't very "fun" so it's harder to encourage employees and managers to utilize reward gateway. Primarily we use it for posting company news, but the recognition capabilities isn't quite catchy or entertaining enough.

Cons

The reporting is a bit hit and miss, the data is there the reports just don't run sometimes! The customer support team however is reactive and resolve asap.

Easy to recognize colleagues even when its not with a monetary value, and the Applause Wall is very inspirational. I like that all employees have 3 Spotlight awards to issue as previously we have never had this option and it really makes an impact. The videos are short so easy to watch and understand. I found the site so easy to navigate and didn't have trouble finding anything.

Pros

Xexec Applause was recently rolled out at my company to encourage recognition of employees and colleagues in a new and improved format which makes it easier to reward and praise colleagues. The layout of the site is very easy to use and navigate and i found it really easy to find what i was looking for, i also found a wealth of information on the different rewards and recognitions that could be given and which roles could give which rewards and values. I enjoyed the profile which was easy to fill in and showed at easy glance what awards and balances i have. Special praise should go to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] in customer services who quickly helped me when i was initially finding i was getting an error message when trying to access the site. She quickly sorted this for me and i have had no issues since.

Cons

I think the Applause Wall could do with some different images just to keep things looking interesting and not samey when scrolling through. Could we add our own photos? More photos needed in the options for profile pictures. When looking at the vouchers page, i found it difficult to understand that the monetary values that you could claim were listed above the voucher themselves. I thought where it said £10, 50 it meant you could claim £10.50 rather than values of £10 and £50.

Neutral....There are some limitations to the functionality, and we have opted not to use the monetary recognition portion for budget/compliance reasons. People seem to like the platform, but as an administrator it's often more trouble than it's worth to use for things like EE announcements, or to make any updates to content.

Pros

The social recognition wall has been a great way to increase peer-to-peer recognition and employee engagement.

Cons

The system itself is not very intuitive or user-friendly for administrators.

Pros

Very easy to navigate and use. A wonderful tool to recognize other employees for going the extra mile and helps us to be very aware of the internal customer service that we are giving. And the rewards page has a large variety of items that you are able to chose from when cashing in your points.

Cons

Being an employee who uses it to recognize other employee's, I have not found a downside yet

If you inherit a hub it is only as good as the people before you. It doesn't take much effort to shape and build. Great service from my success manager, she is worth every penny and a bit more! Full of ideas and innovation. Really helped us build and develop a concept we can be proud of.

Pros

I have used it for a couple of years at different organisations and it is constantly evolving and improving. You really need to immerse yourself in RGs sessions to keep up with the changes and what we could add in. Smart Spending

Cons

No TRS and not a true Flex Bens platform, difficult to reach online populations
