It was fairly simple to figure out (thank goodness because they were not helpful.) Cons Beware of some of there guarantees (?) of discounts or 'deals' when signing a contract with them. The giving menus are intuitive and the process is easy for our members. Cons Pushpay's technology not inexpensive. However, the functionality is better than lower-cost alternatives. Pros I use this for giving online, and I love the way it integrates into my church's website and just doesn't get in the way. I've used it to donate money to an organization, and it linked with their app so that it was always easily accessible. Cons I guess the only thing I can think of is that when you access pushpay through an organization's app, it launches a web browser instead of taking donations within the app. Review Source DB David B. Pros The simple and easy steps to giving that Pushpay creates is worth every single penny you spend on the program. Pushpay is an industry leader in this! Cons The apps that Pushpay allows you to create alongside your subscription tend to lack tons of customization. But that is only a minor downside. Review Source JB Jacob B. It is been great for younger families who are used to doing so much online. Pros Pushpay is easy to use, great for communicating, and great for also submitting prayer requests to the church. It is definitely a great tool to streamline the churches ability to communicate with people as well as the people to connect with the church. Cons The limitation on number of funds that be setup is challenging. Transferring donations deposits to bank cannot be done as individual donations but must be done in batches. Pros Pushpay has a great UI and makes it super easy to give. I can submit a donation in around 10 seconds! Cons It is a little pricey from an administrator perspective and I wish they passed along negotiated credit card rates without requiring a very high volume. Review Source MW Mark W. We switched our church body over to it for giving entirely and have had no problems. It was an easy switch that our body never needed any hand holding on the switch. It just worked. Pros Mobile app works well and integration into various platforms are a focus in their business plan so no exporting to excel and trying to manipulate everything there. Cons Cost. It is a great solution but does cost more than other solutions. You are paying for what you get though so even though it is a con it is needed to provide the great support and solution they have. Pros Pushpay keeps great records of payments to easily generate statements whenever you need them. It's safe and secure, I've never felt as though my privacy was invaded. Their integrations with other platforms such as Church Comunity Builder are very helpful. And Pushpay will never spam your email or phone! Cons My biggest complaint with Pushpay is having your account connected to your phone number. Its very simple and straight forward to donate to my church using this app. The security is also good on the app itself. The inclusion of 2-factor using fingerprint is a welcomed touch. Setting up reoccurring donations and one time are very easy. Cons I have not really found a Con to this app from my end. The simplicity of this app/service has been great. " July 16, 2018 5.0 PushPay is convenient and allows you to give without having to write out a check. You can give anytime and do not have to wait until Sunday morning or evenings. The benefit is I'm writing fewer checks and can tithe right away. Pros It's convenient when you the code for your particular vendor or establishment. All you have to do is enter the numbers and the account will appear. Enter the amount you want to give and complete your transaction. Cons PushPay promotes that giving increases. PushPay caters to the younger generation, but the older generation still writes out a check or gives cash. Statistics right now do not support an increase in giving. Review Source BM Barbara M. It seems to be a very stable environment. Cons a couple of very small things: 1. The draggables automatically go to the bottom of the page, then you have to drag them where you want them. 2. sometimes it is difficult to highlight and copy text. 3. sometimes when editing, it jumps out to the list of events and you have to click on the specific event again.
