Pros

PushPay is a great platform to give and makes it easier from the guests' and employees' end!

Cons

The only thing I've come across so far is that the amount you previously gave stays in the system so you have to erase it before giving again.

Pros

Pushpay allows our attendees to give online easily and efficiently. My administrative team is able to give me up-to-date reports concerning giving and receipts quickly. We have one place, rather than multiple sources, for our financial reports.

Cons

I have nothing here. The team is continuing to explore the software!

I believe it encourages generosity in our church because it is incredibly simple. It's not just techies who give through pushpay!

Pros

It is simple to use, either online or by text. The auto withdrawal is invaluable. The daily reports I receive on giving are easy to work with

Cons

They send a lot of emails with a parent organization (I think). I will receive emails from Church Fuel or something that, at first glance, I don't associate with pushpay.

Pros

The integration with CCB is fairly easy with few hiccups.

Cons

The ability to switch a user from one card to another is very difficult. Every time we have had a congregant who needed to switch cards for various reasons, it has resulted in weeks of watching their account to make sure everything worked. Sometimes it works, but more often than not we have to try a second time.

### "Oversold and Stuck"

Unfortunately, we were sold the top-tier package designed for churches who have several campuses, while we are a church of 300-500, with one campus. We are locked into a three-year contract and there has been little to no flexibility to modify this. It takes a very long time to get a response from our customer success representative; we've had to wait 6-7 days for a response when told we would hear something the next day.

Pros

Pushpay helped us move to online giving. The giving portion of the app and website portal made it easy for our congregation to donate.

Cons

The other parts of the app, such as media hosting, events, basic church information, left a lot to be desired. We would love it if we could use PushPay for stand alone donation processing, but as of the time of this review, that was not an option.

It was definitely workable while it lasted, but we eventually moved to a different product.

Pros

I liked that once we signed up, we were able to use it almost immediately. People switched to it right away.

Cons

Once we looked at other giving platforms, we were a little disappointed with the fees and pricing. Also, filtering giving reports and lookups was very clunky at times.

Love how easy and secure pushpay is for giving online. We use it for tithe and offering at church and as a user, I love that it's simple and easy to use. Love that you can access past history with your account.

Cons

As just a user, I don't have anything negative to report about my use of this software. My interactions with it have been great.

If only other payment services were this easy! Making it as simple as possible for people to give is important. PushPay allows you to set it giving and easily manage it -- I can spend time praying over my giving instead of slaving over it.

Pros

As a regular tither, this application as made this monthly process very easy. Not only do we have a monthly tithe set up, but it's easy to make additional donations and specify their purposes, etc. We can also have it taken right out of our bank accounts, which I believe saves the church money on high credit card charges. No complaints!

Cons

I have had no problems as a PushPay user. Set up and transferring from our old giving system was easy!

Overall they are a great tool to manage church giving and your church app.

Pros

The mobile app studio is easy to use and effective. It's easy to see your app analytics and how many users are interacting per week!

Cons

The mobile app studio doesn't work the best on Mozilla Firefox. In order to customize a few things in push notifications, I have to switch to Google Chrome.

Cons

The platform is helpful and makes first time giving and recurring giving easy but the cost for a non profit/church can be a little expensive.

Pros

Pushpay on the app is so easy to use for me to give tithe to my church weekly. By saving all necessary information on Pushpay, all I need is to push a button on my app once and then the money is automatically transferred from my bank to my church. It is so easy to use.

Cons

No negative review on this software. The software is so easy and simple to use and I use it weekly.

### "A new addition to our giving experience"

We recently added PushPay on in addition to a new church app. We previously had a text-to-give system that was wildly unpopular and a waste of our investment. Incorporating a new church app which uses Pushpay has made it easy and convenient for attendees who do not carry cash or check to give easily during the services. Sure, you have to set up an account initially, but once you're past this process, giving is super easy. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to create a link to pay a certain amount with a 'fund' option already selected. For instance, when registering for the women's retreat, it would be awesome to be able to link to a pushpay page that had "$" already in the dollar amount and "Women's Ministry" already in the 'fund' click down menu. As it stands now, we have to direct people to the app, tell them to manually enter in their registration fee, and to remember to select the current fund to pay it to. There are always 'the few' that cannot follow these simple instructions. If that feature were available, we'd love it that much more!

Pros

Ease of use after initial setup. The new feature of being able to add your own categories to the 'fund' menu.

Cons

Unable to create payment-specific links for special events and registrations that have the dollar amount and fund already selected.

Honestly, very negative. Even off-boarding took 90 days, and we didn't have positive interactions when we were exiting for another platform.

Pros

There was very little we liked- some online giving was on par with other systems, nothing was of great value

Cons

Customer service is terrible. No phone number and emails are often not answered or resolved at all, or sometimes weeks later.

Good. It has helped even those least experienced with technology to provide the regular contributions that they want to ensure the church receives.

Pros

This product has allowed us to receive continued support from our donor base across a wide geographic and demographic area. It has become even more critical with the changes created by COVID- 19. It is both user friendly for the contributors and provides us with all that we need to track and record giving.

Cons

Bank reconciliation is not easy. It does require less time than processing physical giving (checks, cash), but still is a multi step process.

### "Not for everybody"

The overall setup with push pay was kind of slow, but that was probably due to the small nature of our team. We eventually decided that Push Pay wasn't a good fit for our organization, but we found ourselves stuck in contract, which is totally our fault. However, we hoped that we'd be able to have an early termination from Push Pay, since it just was not adopted by our church as hoped. They have not offered that, which is totally there right, but I would caution smaller churches regarding the fine print of the contract, as you may find yourself in a situation you do not want to be. I guess the biggest thing, which is totally again, my fault - is that It will be harder to convince the rest of my Churches leadership to embrace technology like this again. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Not a bad product, just not for everyone IMO.

Pros

It looks good and implements easy enough.

Cons

Getting out of the Push Pay contract is not easy. Read the fine print.

Pushpay enables our members to give on multiple platforms in a convenient way. It also provides for automatic withdrawal. It enables us to create specific areas of ministry where people can choose to give.

Cons

I cant recall anything we disliked except maybe the price could always be more affordable?

The two things we like best about Pushpay is the end-user experience has been very easy and positive. We also opted into a deal where they created a mobile app for our church. That was very helpful

Cons

We still have had a few issues learning the text to give but that’s more on our end. We will reach out again and are sure that their tech-support will help us

I love the fact that it makes it very simple to give once you have an account setup. I can classify the giving by using keywords in text messages, which is very convenient.

Cons

Honestly the only thing that is a little bit of a downer is that your setup of your profile can be a little cumbersome on your phone.

The price is high but the app is good.

Pros

Professional company. The salesperson, onboarding person, and customer service were all very nice. They are pretty responsive when I send an email about a problem I'm having. I've never called. Our app is professional and modern and has tons of features. We don't even use them all.

Cons

The price. The app is WAY more expensive than any other option out there. We went with pushpay because we heard they are the industry standard. Well I guess you pay for the industry standard. We could get the same features with a little company. I just can't switch our whole congregation again. Also the designer side of the app is VERY confusing. I have set-up websites, online forms, graphic design, etc. and I struggle to figure out all the little nuances you have to do with the app designer. That would be my #1 area to upgrade if they asked me.

Customer service is great. It should integrate with a lot of your existing infistrucutre. It is simple and streamlined to give via pushpay. Finally, the money back gaurentee is awesome.

Cons

The initial cost can be difficult for some but it will pay for itself many times over, especially if you do not have an online giving solution already.

Overall I met with this sales team several times. It is a VERY quality product. Cost was our factor to say no. We ended up with Subsplash in the long run but wouldn't recommend against Pushpay. Just be crystal clear on the "variable costs" you will pay for each transaction.

Pros

Constantly innovating new product offerings. Really stress people engagement and model after Amazon app purchasing. Best customer service in resolving problems quickly.

Cons

Cost. You pay for what you get and you get a lot with Pushpay. But it is known to be expensive. And the charges vary which I didn't care for. It felt a little aggressive at times in terms of reaching our people to give BUT it is a good product.
