So excited they now have a chat function. We run our Member365 only with volunteers, and not all of them are that tech savvy, so it's great to have the extra help when you need it. Once it's set up, you are good to go.

Pros

Once you get the hang of it, this software helps manage the back-end of an organization. Make sure to take advantage of onboarding features.

Cons

It takes a bit of time to get used to all the features since there are so many of them!

Fantastic. Member365 has reduced the amount of time we as a non-profit run entirely by a volunteer board need to spend on repeating tasks connected to membership management, so that we can do work that ADVANCES the organizations. With out previous software and others we considered, we had to create and use a lot of workarounds to make things happen, with Member365 we don't. Their dashboard and reporting makes it really easy to get a snapshot of the health of the organization and make projects and adjustments accordingly.

Pros

The customer service was fantastic. We had to move quickly to deploy a software for our needs and their team was readily available to make that happen. Whenever issues have arisen, they have been really quick to address them. When we had thought that functionality would be one way and it wasn't exactly that (because there was a misunderstanding on their team member's part), they were very quick to resolve it. I greatly appreciate how they acknowledge their mistakes if they happen and work to fix them asap. This is one of the only softwares that had the functionality we needed in terms of how we set up our memberships (with affiliate membership with unique logins available at a cost for employees beyond the primary person). I LOVE the fact that this software does not have to be integrated with website services. We have explicitly chosen to keep our membership management software separate from our website to have more creative control over our website AND so that a shift in website or software does not impact the other.

Cons

We wish the directory could be displayed differently. That being said, we have shared our requests with company and they are under consideration.

Wild Apricot did not have the ability to do affiliate memberships (called seats in Member365) without deploying a more labour intensive workaround. We didn't want to have to use workarounds for common tasks.

Starchapter simply did not have the functionality that we needed. It was not easy to extend memberships, newsletters were hard to design, and more. We had to do SOO many workarounds to make it work for us. There was no easy way to do affiliate memberships (called seats in Member365).

I don't have anything good to say about this software.

Cons

This software consistently stalls out. I wait for 10 minutes just to create an invoice for membership renewal in this system. They are garbage. The \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] told us that they can't fix our problem and have given up leaving us with garbage data. We are leaving. We asked them to download all of our data and they currently have no way to do that, that's awful! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] told us that we have to use the reporting within the system to pull out our data. The problem is that the reporting feature in Member365 isn't accurate at all. The system auto-archives contacts and it is difficult to pull them back into a lapsed or active status. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Member365 welcomes feedback and constructive criticism as we find it a valuable tool to continually grow and improve our software for all our clients. In this case we feel that this review is inaccurate and unfairly represents the quality of our software and our organization. Many associations have different needs and requirements and sometimes we discover that Member365 is not the right fit. When Member365 is not the right fit, all data can be extracted using the tools available in Member365. We would also like to note that the Wisconsin EMS Association recently experienced a change in their team. Before this, Member365 was working well for WEMS and the organization agreed to have a written case study celebrating our success, which was finalized and approved. We are disappointed to see WEMS leave Member365, but do understand that we are not the right fit for everyone.

We manage multiple groups and have used different membership platforms and Member365 is hands down my favorite. While it has a lot of features and can be daunting when you first start, it is very user friendly and intuitive. We've only run into a few issues where we couldn't do what we needed to, but there was always a workaround. The entire team, from support to implementation to customer service, is knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. Highly recommend Member365!!

Pros

I am in M365 daily and absolutely love how user friendly it is. I can pull reports quickly, walk a member through their account easily, and navigate through the platform with ease. If I can't figure out how to do something, the Knowledge Base and customer support are top notch.

Cons

I wish we were able to import or backdate courses our members have taken prior to using Member365. This would be helpful for better historical records.

Reason for choosing Member365

Price was a big factor, especially as a non-profit organization. Another big consideration was the learning management feature-- we are a group focused on education and offering courses, so this was one of the major features we needed.

Member365 and the team have been nothing but exemplary and we are looking forward for years and years of working with Member365.

Pros

Some of Member365 most impactful features include its ability to automate renewal membership, and enable secure PCI compliant payment processing . The easiness for members to register without needing to remember their password.Integration with current business processes was helpful with Member365's helpdesk.

Cons

There isn't anything that we have used that wasn't awesome for our purpose. The items we haven't used yet are because we are not ready for them yet but they look great.

Pros

Member365 fit our need exactly. Transition was easy and our members seem to like the portal and features.

Cons

Some features of the software that aren't easily customizable in the portal don't fit all of our needs and we ended up paying more for things that we needed such as a transcript.

Very positive - I often demonstrate the software for other arts service organization and provincial museums associations.

Pros

All-in-one systems like M365 save valuable time and increase overall efficiency of client/member management. My favourite feature is the Lists function, which can pull information from all modules and allow hyper-targeted contact list creation. For example, in just a few clicks, you can create a list of primary contacts from a specified region that attended your recent conference. Communications, outreach, and user retention made easy!

Cons

M365 currently has no mass edit/delete option for contacts which - in a sector with rampant turnover - can be challenging. The quantity of contact records dictates the price of the software and one-by-one maintenance can be too time-consuming to complete while so many other aspects are easy/automated.

### "A mixed bag"

Member365 replaced a completely archaic and inadequate system for us, and in that sense is a major step forward in analytics, event management and most reporting. We were aware of some limitations when we selected it, but were surprised by others once we got deeper into the implementation. It works well as long as it fits your processes. We have found work arounds for most challenges, but be aware that compromises may be necessary unless your operations match its functions closely. The limited customization in some functions needs expansion. It is important that a potential client request detailed custom demonstrations of how THEIR business can be accommodated within M365. If you expect a highly user-customizable experience, this product may not be for you. Support is generally responsive within a reasonable time frame, and usually helpful. However, at times (including with the Directory issue referenced above) it seems as though not everyone knows what is going on, and they are hesitant to offer timelines for "repairs" or new features. They DO make regular software updates, and have rolled out a couple of helpful new features in the year we have been using it. Overall, Member365 appears to be a system written and supported more by programmers/technical staff than by people with real-world experience running associations. It is a decent product at a realistic price for many non-profits, and hopefully it will mature further as new features are added.

Pros

The events module in particular works well for almost all of our event registration and activities. It lacks complex calculation abilities, but generally work arounds can be found. In general it is a good system for a reasonable price. The user interface is attractive and offers good customizable options for communicating with members. The membership options are generally sufficient, although designed in a somewhat odd way. Buyers need to dig deep during the evaluation stage to be certain its limitations are acceptable.

Cons

The level of user customization could be improved in order to better reflect the nature of each organization's operations. Also, some data is stored with the individual's specific membership, RATHER than with the member themself. So for example, the "member since" date will change if the membership type is changed; that's not helpful when tracking an individual's history with the organization. Their search engine is rather odd, looking at members' names as well as street addresses - so a search for a last name of "Wood" also returns a long list of members who live on "Woodlawn Street" or in "Woodfin, NC". The reporting is usually adequate, and customized lists can be generated. But if a company considering this product needs any very complex or detailed lists, ask for a demo of the SPECIFIC detail needed. For example, we have to combine two exported spreadsheet lists to get websites included; some reports do not include them. Most disturbingly, without notice to their clients Member365 turned off the display of opted-in personal information in the online Membership Directory, across their entire platform. This was apparently in response to the spring 2018 change of European privacy regulations. However, most of our members do not HAVE "organizational" info to display, and this step made our Directory useless. Apparently many clients objected, and in short order M365 promised a restoration "soon". It has been 3 months, and still no estimated date of restoration.

I had never been involved in a project like this before, my background was policy and research not IT and databases so it was a big thing for me to be taking on. From the very start the supporting staffs were so lovely, patient and helpful - especially patient!! I worked with Michael very closely through the data on boarding and the customising of our portal - he was always a pleasure to work with, he never made me feel like I was asking a silly question, and he never said 'haven't I already shown you how to do this 5 times' even though he most likely had! The things that impressed me most about him was his ability to listen and be very responsive about our needs, and in particular he really did genuinely care about us and clearly wanted to get the best outcome, and to ensure we were maximising the potential of the system and that it was working to benefit us and our members. I After we had our last session together and launched the system, he told me I could contact him anytime if I had a question, an idea or just wanted some advice. that meant a lot and I know he was genuine, and i'm sure I will take him up on that!

I cannot say enough about the ease and comprehensiveness of this software. It takes care of all our association management issues - membership, events, training, finances, reports, etc. The ease of sending eblasts to large groups without having to use an external program is amazing since all the emails and messages are all stored in each member's profile. The support provided by the Member365 team has been remarkable and timely for someone who is not high tech. I have no reservations is recommending this software to potential users as it can be customised to meet your needs. Try it, you will like it!

Not only has the product made a huge difference to our organisation, but it has been fantastic working with \[sensitive content hidden\] They are so willing to help and genuinely seem interested in helping our organisation be successful.

Pros

It has all the features we need and it is very user friendly. It helps us to work better as a team and the customer support for onboarding and continued support is fantastic. Member365 is always willing to take on feedback for product improvement too.

Cons

There are lots of settings and it's not always easy to work out what they mean. I suspect this is a language issue. What makes sense in Canada, doesn't always make sense to other English speaking countries. A few more definitions might help.

Overall, it's been a good experience. Excellent customer support. A very thorough system, and it's easy to manage our members with it.

Pros

They've been very helpful with any questions or concerns we've come to them with. Recently do to budget issues, they were very accommodating to helping us keep the program at a lower cost. They've always been helpful with our questions and with training when we've brought new people in.

Cons

My own inexperience with it, sometimes makes it less intuitive to use, and I often wonder if it has more tools than I really need, but overall, there are no cons.

Really good. Everything was within Member365's built environment rather than being separate apps that simply interfaced with it. I am not convinced the new CRM we are moving to (Salesforce) will be better.

Pros

I liked how responsive the help team was. Not only in addressing our immediate concerns, but in adding our "wish list" items to their "to do" list. Most of the features we asked for were rolled out at some point and usually quickly. Personally, I liked the somewhat old-fashioned looking interfaces, as I find it quicker to find information via lists, etc. rather than graphical treatments.

Cons

Not me; however, some of our members didn't find it particularly intuitive to use. The member interface was a bit old-fashioned looking and sometimes it was hard to create exactly what we wanted (though with time we got closer).

As a small team managing and navigating the features of the site, we find the Member365 team to be very responsive and helpful. They are readily available to provide us with training on the use of their platform, and they’ve done so on several occasions, particularly when we were exploring the range of the platform features and options tailored to our needs. Member365 is user-friendly and intuitive, so we haven’t required much training and onboarding new team members has proven simple. If you need a secure platform for sharing information and files, enabling collaboration across organisations, and Canada-based data storage, then Member365 is the tool for you.

Pros

Our team has been using Member365 for nearly a decade now and we are consistently satisfied with the services and the platform. As a small team supporting a pan-Canadian portfolio, we require a tool that enables member access to our files and information in a secure environment with Canada-based data storage. There are very few options available to meet these requirements, but Member365 does all of that and more. It is just a quick sign-up for our members to access information and the files they need, and it is very simple on our end to manage membership and permissions. The variety of options for storing our files and materials makes project management streamlined and organized, as we can easily create document categories and sub-folders and include information in both official languages.

Cons

There are some features of Member365 we don't require, but it doesn't impact anything.

### "Great Platform - Great People"

We were looking to replace our membership platform that was not user friendly or responsive. Member365 one of the best customer service oriented companies I have worked with - can not say enough about my onboarding coach, \[sensitive content hidden\], who is not only super knowledgeable about the platform but was instrumental in moving my organization's 1500+ member profiles from another platform to M365 and training us to use the platform efficiently. She was critical in assisting with the creation of our first large event registration (many members commented on the vast improvement over our former platform). She - and a shout out to \[sensitive content hidden\] - have been great resources for any and all questions I have had.

Pros

Love the ease of the platform - very user friendly. Customer service is quick with responses (often with short video solutions). They provide newsletter and webinar trainings to support customers. They are open to suggestions for future upgrades. Affordable for non-profits. Have people like \[sensitive content hidden\] working there!

Cons

Nothing - We knew what we were purchasing and got that and more!

Pros

The UI is really easy to understand and intuitive to all of my members. My members were able to easily transition from our old platform without too much training. In terms of an admin experience they made our transition extremely easy. My favorite part has been how responsive they are to questions whether simple or complex.

Cons

My biggest pain point is (and there is a workaround solution) that some email campaigns don't show buttons depending on what browser/app my members are using.

Overall, Member365 has proven to be a reliable and effective solution for our organizational needs, enhancing our productivity and enabling us to focus more on engaging with our members. Moving from our old, outdated CRM to Member365 was a significant upgrade, and the difference in efficiency and ease of use is remarkable. One of the standout aspects of Member365 is the onboarding process and A+ customer support. The support team is fantastic; this level of support has continued whenever we've needed assistance, ensuring that we can maximize the platform's potential.

Pros

Member365 includes a wide range of functionalities such as member management, email campaign management, financial software, and CRM, providing an all-in-one solution for our organization. The platform enhances productivity and offers efficient service, inspiring innovation within organizations.

Cons

I feel that there are limitations in customization options within the software, which restricts tailoring it to our specific organizational needs. Also, while the software offers many features, some of them can be complex and require a steeper learning curve to understand.
