We will no longer have to use multiple different companies to run our business. Not to mention that ChiroFusion is uniquely tailored to the needs of a chiropractic clinic. Our other software has always worked, but not in the same easy-to-use and comprehensive manner that ChiroFusion works. Pros We are just now implementing ChiroFusion for our practice. Already it has more features than our old software and it can easily do things that I always wanted our old software to do. We have not yet implemented it fully, but the customer service has been top notch and I am impressed by what I have seen thus far. Cons Transferring all of our old data over to this new software has been a challenge so far. However, the customer service at ChiroFusion is excellent and they will do their best to help you find a solution. December 19, 2019 4.0 I have tried 3 other software in the last two years (I know... why would you do that?) I tried two less expensive competitors that are okay if you run a simple cash only practice, but they are in way over there heads dealing with insurance. I have also used the classic juggernaut in our profession...CT... and just hated how much time it took to set up and navigate and train on, and ... and... and... ChiroFusion is by no means perfect, but it is easily the most solid choice on the market right now. Pros Has just about everything in a simple package. Patient set up is easy. Front desk staff likes the flow a lot. I like how you can set up separate groups and plans for certain insurance networks once and then it stays there to pull from for any patient in the future. (where i practice BCBS has over 150 different groups plans that each have there own unique specs). Most of all for a practice that is about 50-50 cash insurance is simply covers all the necessary basics and isn't over burdensome to navigate. Cons The biggest issue is we use a third party billing service and we are having some struggles getting things just right. I have several years of experience with Medent, Future health, and Chirotouch and there is really no comparison. This software is better in every way. Pros Easy to document, schedule and bill. Very user friendly with great support staff. Also the price is lower than any comparable software and it is much easier to setup and work with. Cons I would like to see more options to edit the lists in the note-taking part of the software. Many of the lists are missing key items or have lots of extraneous items and there is currently no way to edit them. It is functional, but there is significant room for optimization on an individual basis. As writing notes is 90% of what we do with out time other than treating patients, any additional streamlining options are valuable as the overall time saved would be significant. Cons I am a brand new user, so I haven't had much in the way of issues. However, I do wish there was a way to remove the insurance section from the intake as I am a cash practice. They are detailed and professional, and better than any I could produce on my own. Cons Using the Objective findings touch screen during exams is a bit cumbersome. Writing down listings takes longer using the touch screen than when using paper SOAP notes, resulting in longer than necessary appointments, or us simply not using the service for follow-up/wellness visits. Cons Wish there was a one step link on patient names on the schedule page to open up their financial page to add their payment. Also, Putting in payments received from auto and wc settlements are very difficult. Sometimes they don’t have specific fees attached to all the different modalities because fees and balances get settled with attorneys. October 7, 2016 5.0 I came to Chirofusion 6 months ago out of frustration with my former EHR - or should I say EHRs. Over the past 5 years I have used 3 different software systems, none of which have been able to accommodate my needs. I'm happy to say that Chirofusion has exceeded my expectations not only as a software but as a company in general. The software is intuitive and very easy to use. Notes can be done on a iPad and take less than a minute to complete, Billing is for the most part automated with no extra clearinghouse fees. Support is always available whenever my staff or I have a question, even on weekends which is unheard of in this day and age. I highly recommend Chirofusion to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable EHR that's chiropractic-friendly. Pros Highly affordable. Easy to learn and use. Software is cloud-based and can be accessed from anywhere. Has everything needed to manage a busy practice. Support team is readily available. Cons Patients do not have the ability at this time to complete their intake paperwork online which would save time. I opened it on a bootstrap budget, and the price of chirofusion is what was the biggest selling point. I figured i could change software once the business became solvent. I just assumed the user interface was lacking, given the price, and i would relegate myself to doing more work until i could afford something else. I couldnt be more wrong. I am absolutely thrilled with chirofusion. in my previous practice i used a cloud based software that was $269 a month with a large setup fee. I thought it was great, until i switched. Chirofusion is fully integrated with a clearinghouse. I can pay someone to do data entry for new patients and all the information i need is in the system. it gives me the opportunity to bill as i go rather than have someone else do it for me. it saves on hiring extra staff and ive never had such a firm grasp on finances, because im the one doing the billing. i know where every dime is! If you dont have $99/mo for a system like this then youre probably too far gone and nothing will help. Pros price, user interface, fully integrated with a clearinghouse. Incredible tech support. ChiroFusion has taken the paperwork out and has added ease. Billing different insurance companies, accounts receivable and daily note taking is now done with a click of my mouse. I used to spend many hours just doing a billing, now it is almost automatic. I cannot think of anything that would make my job as office manager any easier. Pros Speed and reliability. One thing that we were considering doing is outsourcing our billing, but since we’re a new practice and we don’t have a ton of extra income to hire someone to do that, we decided to do it ourselves with Chirofusion. It’s straightforward and fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. The customer service is awesome and everyone is so friendly. Cons It would be nice to be able to add another doctor to the system without having to pay an extra $99/ month. I would have liked if the first tier of membership was 1-2 docs, next was 3-4, and so on.
