Overall Chirofusion has show their competitors (Jane, Chirotouch, etc) that there is the middle ground of being user friendly and very thorough for documentation

Pros

I truly enjoy that this is a “made for” chiropractic software. It holds many key features both an insurance and cash practice need. Scheduling is a breeze including blocking out any times/days.

Cons

The software is dated to the older population of chiropractors. Very textbook which works well with insurances and audits but fails to have documentation for other demographics such as pediatrics and prenatal

Cons

It was very cumbersome and lengthy to use. They makes you think you are getting everything included. They take your money, and then find out nothing is included. We quickly found out that this is not going to work (in less than a week) we contacted the customer rep and he was very unpleasant to work with and we did not get a dime refunded. I think it was about $ we were out for having access to their software for 6 days and never using it for a single patient, and using only one training. We have a Chiropractic assistant that has used Chirofusion and one other software company. She was completely blown away at how inferior this product is in so many ways to her other software experiences, and it took over twice as long for input and notes. My advise is stay away from Chirofusion. There is a reason there is not a free trial. It takes way to long to enter in SOAP notes and to enter patient data. They make it sound like it is no problem transfering patient data, just send it to them and they will take care of it. Once you pay for the software to start, then they let you know what they charge to do this and that most practices do all of the transferring of data themselves. We used it for less than a week and realized it is a waste of time and money, and of course they will not refund a dime.

My overall experience has been great.

Pros

I like the dashboard and the information it supplies, especiall the notifications, it makes it easier to remebmer to go back and check on rejected claims or things that need posting. I like the ease of entering in and scheduling patients, easy to chart notes and bill insurance. I like how customer service reponds to any issues that may arise promptly.

Cons

The only con I have is that I seem to have problems from time to time when going back and refiling a claim it is hard to find or takes it a while to show up in billing.

Most importantly the ChiroFusion support team is first rate and always get you back on track... Always correct "rookie" mistakes. We highly recommend this EHR and office software. .

They have been absolutely amazing to work with, truly couldn't ask for anything better. The initial contact was with the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] himself, which to me speaks volumes for the company. He answered all the questions we had, which was a lot. Once we made the decision to switch, it's been all hands on deck from them getting us set up, building the system and the training sessions were amazing. The doc in our office has never had to do electronic documentation or billing so this was a complete overhaul for him. The training was so thorough that he picked it up right away and he's doing amazing. Cannot stress enough that this is the most amazing system ever!

Pros

This is by far the most user-friendly system I have ever worked on. I have gone through 4 EHR upgrades with different offices and this one is hands down the absolute best. No comparison.

Cons

Nothing yet. Everything is very user-friendly and built in a way that makes sense.

Reason for choosing ChiroFusion

This system is actually built for a chiropractors office, it is the most common sense, user-friendly system I have ever worked on. I had heard horror stories about Chirotouch so after my demo, I sat with someone at another local chiropractor's office and watched their flow. In all honesty, it was the most cumbersome system I have seen. So many little quirks that you have to work with on a daily basis and on top of that the customer service is awful and doesn't get back to you for days. Not acceptable in a healthcare office.

I run a high volume practice that includes 8 staff members. I've gone through my fair share of practice management software during my 19 year career and have found ChiroFusion to be in a class of its own. The software's interface is easy on the eyes and extremely user-friendly. We were up and running in about two hours with no setup required on our end. The system is able to efficiently manage our scheduling needs and includes email and text reminders which have really helped to reduce no-shows in the office. Documenting visits is quick and easy and requires a minimum number of clicks. I'm impressed with the quality of the notes considering it takes me less than a minute to document a visit. Submitting and tracking electronic claims to the clearinghouse is quick and easy. Their support staff is awesome and always go the extra mile to help us when we need it, even at nights and on weekends. This company clearly understands the value of great customer service!!

Pros

I like the ability to see all pertinent patient info in one screen. Appointment reminders are nice. It's cloud based so there's no software to install or update and I can access my practice from anywhere I have an internet connection - even using my iPhone. Friendly, knowledgeable and responsive support staff. The price can't be beat.

Cons

Posting payments manually does take time. I definitely recommend signing up for ERAs which will eliminate having to manually post payments and will automate the entire process. Definitely a time saver for high volume practices, or practices with limited staff resources.

We like the ease of use of the software, tutorials are thorough and detailed.

Pros

Our office appreciates the ease of use regarding scheduler to immediate SOAP note functionality. Also e-claims and reporting is understandable.

Cons

Wish there were one-time comment sections for use on SOAP/Exams for commenting on one time episode that would reset for subsequent visits. Also would like virtual "sticky note" on Patient accounting (billing side of software) for staff notes on patients (ie: patient copay is $\_, or Deductible is not met - collect for todays visit).

ChiroFusion offered the top items we were looking for in an EHR software - Ease of Use, E-Claims, Online Scheduling, Multiple doctor/Staff use, Cloud based software.

There's noone to call for customer service. It's all in a chat box. I thought we were past this as a society.

Happy, have no plans to switch

Pros

I like all the features such as text reminders, emailed/online intake forms and physitrack. The credit card system is nice to save cards on file. They are regularly updating with new features and the customer service is excellent. They are always quick to respond. It's easy to take quick SOAP notes once a patient is established.

Cons

Unfortunately if you have several doctors the appointment calendar doesn't work well, the staff is unable to look at just one provider's calendar at a time so you cannot read the names of patients as everything gets condensed. At one point we had 3 providers and it made the calendar really hard to use. The billing system is sometimes more difficult to use and I'm not a big fan of how the statements print.

Our overall experience with chirofusion has been phenomenal! Our agent was \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. He was with us every step of the way when we signed up. He was able to answer all of our questions immediately and got us set up with the team that can answer questions if we can’t find it in the help tab. Everyone is always extremely nice!

Pros

It’s very easy to navigate. When we signed on with chirofusion we were opening! We didn’t have time to learn a software but I was able to quickly pick up on it. It stores ALOT of information about patients, the setup alone is probably my favorite. I’ve used many chiro softwares and this one has, by far, been my most favorite. It’s very organized.

Cons

The only thing I would change, and this is me comparing to other softwares I’ve used, is the check in and check out process. I believe when we check someone in, it should throw their name into a separate column and when we check them out, it’ll disappear from that column. It helps us to know who all is still in the office. I see the abbreviations but it’s so hard to get use to those.

Reason for choosing ChiroFusion

In my personal experience, I’ve used both chiroTouch and eclipse. With eclipse, all paperwork and personal info has to be manually entered so we were spending a lot of time on the Computer with notes. With ChiroTouch, it was pretty great accept we always had server issues. My most favorite thing ever about Chirofusion is that it’s cloud based and you can even sign in on your phone. Me being the office manager, I always have calls coming to my phone 24/7. I’m on the software daily scheduling even when we aren’t open.

Pros

I love how easy and quick it is to complete soap notes. I really enjoy the save draft feature to remind me of what notes I still need to work on. The schedule will also display which soap notes have been completed, also reminding me which notes are complete and incomplete. I like how exams and soap notes are customizable. My favorite part of all is the cloud based software, Mac and Windows friendly, and all your files are accessible on any device with internet connection.

Cons

The schedule is not customizable when it comes to time intervals, which means the intervals are set at 10 minutes making it difficult for staff to schedule appointments quickly. When scheduling a new patient, you must enter too much information before actually getting that patient onto the schedule. The billing tab is difficult to navigate. There is no section for "nickname", rather than just first and last name (even middle and suffix would be nice because we have several Sr./Jr. type patients). We often work remotely, so a mobile app is becoming necessary in today's day and age. We currently have to use a different software for scheduling because it is too difficult to use the CF scheduler on a mobile device. This creates more work later on because all of the patients have to then be transferred to the Chirofusion schedule before they arrive.

This product initially looks great but once you get in it is slow in the cloud based system. It often needs to be refreshed. There is way to many clicks to get from one page to another. It's hard to see the big picture (calendar) for a particular patient and the reports are incomplete and inaccurate. The financial side of it is a pain in the rear and I am just a private pay office. It's clunky at best and even when on the phone with them and they are going through it with me, often times they are lost and refreshing to figure out why something in particular might not be working. Also, the text reminders still get sent out even when you cancel or reschedule an appointment. It's also quite a bit more than $99. Better to find something else than waste time on this product.

How it looks and its initial simplicity of the SOAP

Cons

Very clunky. Often needs to be refreshed. Poor and inaccurate reports. Too many clicks. Having to hop from one screen to another to enter financial data and the system crashing. Text reminders still get sent if you cancel or reschedule and appointment. Cant see the big picture on the calendar for future visits. Costs way more than $99 a month and requires a lot of your time.

The training is great. The implementation team is very good. They are great at answering your questions. I would like more manuals and less videos (but that's just me)

Pros

I like the intuitiveness of the software, it all goes left to right, save at every interval. SOAP notes are easy to produce following the initial visit

Cons

Toggling between scheduling and documentation/billing could be a bit more seamless. It's irritating to put a new patient in the schedule and by the time you've entered all the required info, you've forgotten what time and date you were putting them on the schedule for.

My reports are well organized as are my notes.

Pros

The notes and reports are outstanding. The printed version of them is easy to read and very thorough.

Cons

I am unable to use the same CPT code twice in the same date of service. For example the L3020 cannot be used as a right and then a left. This when I enter it in through the SOAP notes interface. Some CPT codes are not available, for example I supply TIPs for canes for certain patients. It would be nice to be able to add that CPT code into the system. So maybe some customization on my end would be nice. Also, when doing appontment reminders via email you cannot use the same email address for a spouse or child. Often in a household one person is designated as the home care coordinator and he or she handles all dr apointments. That individual should be able to get all email reminders for family members.

So far, I don't ever plan on switching to a different provider. I've used about 3 other software systems, and this is by far the best!

Pros

I love the ease of use! It's so simple and intuitive to use that I am confident when I hire employees I won't spend more than maybe a day teaching them the ins and outs. The accessibility is also amazing. It's great being able to access your schedule from your phone when you're out and about!

Cons

There are times when the billing side of the software freezes up and becomes unresponsive, but generally this issue gets resolved within minutes.

There needs to be a few more options in the EXAM options list, and the ability to add additional outcome assessments for easier and quicker documentation.

Pros

I used ChiroFusion at a previous employer and loved the ease of scheduling, billing, and documentation. Since starting my own practice I chose to remain with ChiroFusion and the implementation went perfectly.

Cons

Without the help and training videos, the use of the program is not particularly intuitive. Thankfully the mandatory training sessions make that easier.

Pros

This software has a built in area to receive electronic EOBs. Our old software did not have this and I must say it's a really nice feature. Usually the billing side of practice management software gets a bit neglected as most software companies look to sell more to the doctor than they do the staff. Chirofusion has a decent billing platform.

Cons

It can be really difficult to figure out what information pulls from what location, for example filling out 1500 forms. Some companies want prior authorization dates listed on the 1500 form while some do not, figuring out where to put some specific info so the form populates correctly can be frustrating.

Reason for choosing ChiroFusion

Number one reason, Chirofusion looked simpler and more intuitive to use. Second, the price point was where we wanted to be.

Eased the load on my office staff to enable me to bring in another provider without the need for additional staff.

Pros

Saves me time in billing and optimizes efficiency in tracking prior authorizations. Easy to use and intuitive to learn.

Cons

I didn't know that each provider was a separate charge. And also didn't know that there would be such a lag time between each training session \[due to scheduling on ChiroFusion's part\] in order to get fully integrated.
