I’ve been using car Fusion in clinics that I owned and practice in as a doctor so I not only used the billing side of the software, but I’ve used the Dr. soap note documentation side as well as the Patient accounting site so I’ve used all aspects of the software for over a decade. I also have a billing company for chiropractic clinics and many clients have had Chirofusion over the last decade of doing billing . It’s a simple software to learn, simple to train others, simple to use. That’s my favorite part. The low cost is my second favorite. The support is top notch !! Just last week I reached out to the support team, within 48 hours I’d already scheduled and had a Zoom call that was so wonderful, so informative and beyond any other software training support experience I’ve had with any other software! I’ve used probably a dozen EHR Softwares IN MY 20 YEAR PRAYER AS A CHIROPRACTOR AND INSURANCE BILL AND SUPPORT IS USUALLY A NIGHTMARE ONE TOP NAME CHIRO EHR SOFTWARE I CAN RECALL YEARS AGO WAS A SIX MONTH WAITLIST JUST TO GET ONE QUESTION ANSWERED OR A PHONE CALL WITH CHIROFUSION. THIS IS NOT THE CASE!

Pros

The price is right (very affordable) so you’re not committing to a huge contract, server install at your clinic, and putting a financial stress or burden on your practice!

Cons

Small things like the onset date box 14 has two places in a patient account so you can put two different dates or errors on the onset date for HCFA box 14.

I've been using this system for five years and have recommended it to several colleagues. The best part was the speed of which to get this system up and running. The other docs in my clinic have also enjoyed using it

Pros

The user interface is straightforward, and office management could not be easier. It's very well organized, easy to implement, and easy to train staff with. Notes are quick, billing is easy, and the system is a breeze.

Cons

The \[sensitive content hidden\] gave me his word he would not raise his prices, only to raise them. The system also is largely perfect for PART documentation, but somewhat timely when using rehabilitative exercises and other rehab style treatment options.

Training that is provided is great! It is not all done in one session but over several weeks. I could not ask for better training.

Pros

The layout of the software is very user friendly. It follows the SOAP format. It is very customizable.

Cons

The process of editing a claim that is already created is a little labor complicated but doable. We have it down now.

### "Glad we made the switch!"

Chirofusion has been a great addition to our practice. We have seen increased collections and notes are done in a fraction of a time than our previous software.

Pros

Chirofusion has been an easy transition from our previous software company. The price is by far the best around and the notes are done faster and more complete than our previous software companies.

Cons

Not being able to link family emails or have more than one email in a family. Although a small issue.

It's truly been a breeze from start to finish. They've not only responded fast, but they've bent over backwards to help me when I've needed it the most.

Pros

It’s flexible, complete, stays updated and is truly intuitive. And I actually enjoy using it -- which I don't think I've ever said before about an EMR.

Cons

Inability to migrate all my prior EMR data to Chirofusion, but that's not their fault. It's apparently a universal problem.

Great value for the cost. Great option if you’re just getting started in practice. Easy to get integrated and great support. Would definitely recommend.

I wish there was something integrated in the system to save macros. Other than that not much to save negatively.

So far, it’s been great. Trainer has been kind and helpful getting our systems set up and we are very excited to fully integrate our practice.

Pros

Huge system with many facets that cover every end needed for a successful chiropractic clinic - regardless of size.

Cons

The push for using OpenEdge terminal. I can respect that this is the deal they have together but the need to upsell it is tiring.

Very good system. Great experience and easy to set up.

Pros

The look is fresh and green. The font is good and easy to use.

Cons

I would like for it to keep track of all the appointments a patient was seen and for it to have easier dashboard so when you want to see how many times the client came in it would say or show 5 times or 6 times instead of you having to put notes in system to see the info.

Horrible experience. The software isn’t efficient. Data is regularly lost. If you like rewriting your exams and notes and then seeing them disappear only to have to redo them, then this is your software. Their customer support is non-existent. You are on your own if you need support. Don’t expect to get a hold of a human via phone or email. Everything is sent automated and they don’t return calls.

Nothing the worst experience ever. Data disappears! Customer support is non-existent.

### "so easy, even someone over 60 can do it."

i am using the program solely for patient charting so i can't comment on the RCM features. i am able to generate a new patient note in under 5 minutes, and a follow up note with an existing patient in 1-2 minutes.

Pros

pre- loaded objective tests and measurements, easy look up icd10 and cpt coding, ability to customize templates for common conditions, cloud storage and security.

Cons

some charts drop to inactive too quickly so they do not show up in the initial search field.

Staff complains at time about having to do a lot of clicking in order to get to desired areas. This has gotten much better over time though.

Not enough reports or customizable reports. The integration for the credit card payment system has a lot of issues that could be addressed.

As a new chiro fusion user the user interface is easy to navigate and understand, but some quality of life features are missing like an apply to all button on adjustment type

The chiro analysis part of the soap notes is intuitive and makes charting smooth

Lack of ability to pull reports like number of soaps providers have signed during a given week, etc

### "Worth it for small business oweners"

Pros

I've been using ChiroFusion since 2018. The program is very easy to use. Any issues that arise are cleared up quickly by watching a short tutorial video in their extensive help library or a simple email to the support team. It's a basic program, easy to learn, easy to use.

Cons

It takes many steps to revert a check if an insurance company retracts money or the posting is incorrect. The patient ledger requested by many patients at year end is extremely confusing and not user friendly. Patients have no need to see a complete history of how one visit was paid. It needs to be simpler.

Pros

This software is generally inexpensive and fairly easy to navigate. On-boarding was quick and efficient and well communicated. For the pieces the software might lack, it has most of everything that is integral to running our small practice.

Cons

There are redundancies and a few areas where there are feature omissions that simply do not make sense. Tech support is a bit frustrating, as much of the time the user is directed to the "features" section and to make requests. These request for feature updates take a very long time, and ultimately seem to only address half of the request.

We decided to wait on this review until we had actually learned the system.....so here goes: Started out in this business with paper charts, paper claims, etc. etc. Recent EHR changes, as well as electronic billing brought me to medisoft and the other 'fusion' type software, which is less and less free the more you add to it. It was time to look for a comprehensive suite that will enable the billing, scheduling, and documentation all in one suite. The team at Chirofusion has filled all of the required boxes. I was paying $89 per month for a clearinghouse, and their new annual maintenance fee added another $30 per month. In addition, keeping Medisoft up to date annually was another $40-50 per month. Strictly speaking, this software is saving me money over the prior approach. Your documentation will be top notch. The transition was a little painful, as everything is interconnected, but once you get used to that fact, and realize that your office is now paperless, you will have no trouble moving forward. The daily reports are comprehensive, and the exam routines are very comprehensive, and will allow you to include as much information as you would really care to have in the file.

Pros

The support team is superb. I mean superb. They work very hard, and hopefully they are fully appreciated for what they are doing for our profession. They have vast amounts of appreciation from this office. The billing module is also superb. When using Medisoft in the past, which has been a mainstay for many years, the accounting was never fully spot on (no doubt a reflection of how we were using it). This system, however, will allow you to keep track of every single transaction, posting, write off and payment. Patient payments are kept in our system as unapplied credits until the claim comes back, at which point we will adjust the line items, apply patient responsibility, and close the claim. Bang. Done. \*\*\*\*For your medicare patients, make sure that you go through the write offs carefully. One of our big insurers will assign a non covered status to exams, extremities, etc., and the system will automatically follow suit. You will have to manually assign these responsibilities to the patient when posting the EOB. If I can learn this, you can learn this.\*\*\*\* Posting of the remits is as painless as it can possibly be. The integration with Office Ally is superb, and you do not even need an account with them. You will communicate with Office Ally only when setting up your insurance companies for EOB / ERA / EDI, and that's it. If they do not accept a claim, you better figure out why (they will generally tell you), so you can correct and resubmit it.

Cons

This is a newish product. They are still working on it, and there are quirks. It took us a while to learn them. Do not hit the enter key in the payment entry screen, or it tanks the whole affair. From what I can see, they are working diligently to get through these issues, and they do listen. Note and a claim in 30 seconds is perhaps a stretch. If you are going to be collecting, applying, and accounting for a copayment or deductible payment, that is 15 seconds right there. There is a fair amount of clicking just to enter a payment, and it will not recall anything from previous visits. If you are interested in keeping track of relevent changes in your patient's picture from one visit to the next, it will take you a short while to document this as well. It does pull through information from the last visit, and makes it very easy however. Some of the screens are a bit disjointed. The software does not have the polish that it will in a year or so, but it does it's job very well, and is perfect for smaller to mid sized practices. Not convinced it is a high volume practice solution, but if that is you, then have someone running around with a laptop behind you, and you will be all set. Couple of friday mornings, no service. Updates to the servers, etc, which is great. Growing pains, which, given what we are getting, for a very reasonable price........not the end of the world. \*\*\*You cannot have multiple unsigned notes open on a patient\*\*\*

Working with ChiroFusion has been a positive experience overall. The software has been a solid system, allowing us to operate effectively on a daily basis and focus on growing our practice. Pros

First off, I can't thank the folks at ChiroFusion enough for understanding how to make a simple, affordable and user friendly EHR. I’ve used numerous systems in the past and will say this software is in a league of its own. The software is web-based and can run on any platform including Windows and Mac. This flexibility is important for us as we use a mix of Mac and PCs in the office and work remotely from home at times. The workflow is intuitive and extremely easy to navigate for everyone in the office. We were up and running within a week with zero setup required on our end. The online scheduling feature with integrated intake forms has been a game changer for us. Our patients can schedule appointments with our office 24/7 from their mobile device and all paperwork can be completed online before the appointment. The reporting component produces detailed notes in under a minute that are clear and professional in appearance. The integrated clearinghouse also saves time and money. Claims can be uploaded to Office Ally at the end of the day with one click and claim status reports are provided within a few minutes. Our previous software required us to export our claim files from the system, then upload them to a clearinghouse that was charging us close to $120/month to submit claims. The last thing I want to mention is support. ChiroFusion's support team is always available and quick to get back to us whenever we have a question.

Cons

I'm truly happy and can’t really think of any cons at this time. The staff are always responsive to our requests for improvements and welcome our feedback. It would be great at some point in the future to include electronic eligibility verification in the insurance component of the software.
