The biggest strength is that it feels like part of a larger operating system rather than a standalone app. When paired with Zoho Books and Zoho Projects, the workflow becomes very smooth. For a growing renovation or kitchen business, that matters more than flashy design.

Pros

stands out mainly because of how well it fits into a broader business workflow rather than acting as a standalone tool. When connected with Zoho Books and Zoho Projects , it creates a smooth system where expenses flow directly into accounting and project costing without duplicate entry. The receipt scanning feature is genuinely practical for day-to-day use, especially for on-site purchases, and the mobile app makes it easy to log expenses in real time instead of relying on memory later. The reimbursement process is clean and structured, which is particularly useful when managing personal spend for business purposes. It also supports delegation well, allowing a virtual assistant to handle expense logging without exposing sensitive financial data. Overall, it delivers strong functionality at a very reasonable price point, making it excellent value for small and growing businesses.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the limitation of the free version, which begins to feel restrictive as business activity increases. has been a very solid solution in our testing, and we’re likely to roll it out more broadly across the business. What stood out most is how much manual work it eliminates. The autoscan feature, email‑to‑receipt forwarding, and automatic creation of expenses from receipts significantly reduce data entry and the risk of human error. Corporate card feeds and automatic matching of transactions to receipts further streamline reconciliation and give finance better visibility over spend. From an admin perspective, configuration is reasonably straightforward, and the system is flexible enough to support different expense categories, projects, and approval flows without becoming overly complex. Reporting and analytics provide a clear view of spending patterns, which helps with budgeting and internal controls

Pros

Ease of navigation in terms of user interface. OCR Scanning feature for receipts and live feeds for card transactions

Cons

Not that i can think of are the limited customisation of reports and dashboards. Workflows are a little rigid

We ultimately switched to a different platform due to the overcomplication for submitting receipts. Our team was having issues with the amount of steps.

Pros

Zoho was great for submitting expenses and it has great organizational tools for monthly submittance.

Cons

Zoho was a little overcomplicated with it's expense reporting. It pales in comparison to other expense reporting platforms.

It is great to be able to keep track of all of my supplies and other expenses. I love being able to see the receipts and categorized them where needed.

Pros

I love being able to do all of book keeping for my crafting business. I am able to track everything I need to manage all my expenses.

Cons

The only thing that is inconvenient is having so submit requests. I don't have employees, I am a sole-proprietor, I am the one submitting the receipts, and the only one doing the book keeping. It's just an extra step I am having to go through.

Pros

Almost everything was really good, I like its cost effectiveness, support and the amazing features. the user interface was awesome. there were not much bugs and issues I came across . the initial set up was easy . the security of the software was outstanding as it provides more authentication features.

nothing much on the current version as I am still evaluating, havent found any issues or cons as of now

Cons

While Zoho’s OCR is good, it can struggle with handwritten receipts, faded thermal paper (common at gas stations), or non-standard layouts. Users still need to double-check the "scanned" data before submitting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far, my organization really enjoys . The app and the website are user-friendly and consistent. We use many of the integrations, the Autoscan receipt feature, the real-time corporate credit card feed. This has been a great help to our accounting department and our management team. We've cut down on time spent arguing or tracking down purchases, and we can now more closely analyze where our spending is better served, and which customers our spend pays off with.

Pros

My organization loves the receipt AutoCapture and the levels of approval that we can set up for our employees. The real-time corporate card feed provides significantly more visibility, and our accounting department commented positively about card purchase receipt matching capabilities. Assigning users to different departments is easy, as is planning travel and creating travel-specific expense reports.

Cons

Setting it up was overwhelming and required more time than expected to reach a point we were happy with. We found the number of customizations and automation difficult to navigate without a specific guide, especially after only a 30-minute demo call. The app is user-friendly, however, and we created a process that everyone is happy with.

Pros

While my experience is somewhat limited as a new user, so far i have found it to be very intuitive and comprehensive. I like that I can track mileage along other expense categories either from my mobile or desktop, and i can do create a quick pre-formatted PDF report for submission. Also like that it interfaces with Zoho Books, which although I haven't tried, appears to be very useful to make record keeping easier.

Cons

I just started to use it. So far, haven't found anything I didn't like. Very promising application

is a simple to use program that also has a lot of functionality. Some of these tools may be a bit overkill for my use, i only need a few of the features, However they alos provide a two hour assistance program to help you understand the features.

As above, there may be too many features for my use case as i only need a few of the features provided.

My overall experience with has been largely positive, especially because it cuts down a lot of manual work and keeps team spending transparent. The security controls and automated checks give confidence. It offers a solid value for money for most use cases, but costs can creep up when you start using the more advanced features

Pros

1\. Really liked how quickly I could see expenses coming in. Also submitting bills from the mobile app felt smooth, just click a picture, fill two fields and its done. 2. The automated policy checks saved me so much manual review time. 3. The multi-level approval flow is clean and logical. 4. Because I already use Zoho products, the sync was almost plug-and-play. 5. No complicated setup, and the integration with payments and reimbursements works efficiently most of the time. 6. feels reliable from a security point of view.

Cons

1\. The receipt scanning sometimes misreads amounts or vendor names, especially on faded bills. 2. The reporting is good and functional but not very visually rich from my point of view. 3. At times support responds quickly, but during peak days it feels like the queries go into the queue and take longer than expected. 4. Customization takes time as I had to watch tutorials just to configure certain policies properly. 5. For smaller teams the cost is fine and seems value for money, but for growing teams it can add up faster than expected.

Our team is really happy with . It's simplified the process for them in recording and tracking their expenses and saves time.

Pros

I think it's a great value for the cost. We've been able to customize it to meet our needs. It allows us to track our expenses more efficiently and is saving a lot of time on the finance side.

Cons

We use Quickbooks Online and use classes in addition to the account/catergories. It would be helpful if we could have an option to include that to simplify importing reports into QB.

Actually, my company was using a manual petty cash process, but after we started using , the process has been seamless.

Pros

The fact that I don’t need to post petty cash expenses after they have been approved, that the comment section can be used for internal communication, and that all approvers are notified.

Cons

None for now. I would recommend the Zoho accounting package to small business owners because it is easy to understand and use.

I think that it is easy to use, and a great way to streamline an Expense process for a business. I just used the real time mileage tracker and that was really easy.

Pros

Once you got the hang of submitting an expense, it was easy and seamless to use. You can take a picture of receipts on your phone, so you don't have to worry about paper logs. I also like the chart that shows what you are spending your money on.

Cons

At first we didn't realize that we needed to create report to submit an expense. Now that we know that, it is easy to use.

Pros

It is very simple to use and relatively explanatory. The app interface is clean, easy to understand, and functionality of desktop to mobile is easy.

There seem to be a necessity to engage a few work arounds needed for a single employee small business when it comes to expense reporting.

My overall experience with is a positive one. I own several companies, and it makes keeping track of each one easier.

Pros

I like that everything I need is in one space. Especially since I run several companies. Being able to take pictures of my receipts is irreplaceable

Cons

I think the delegate notifications are not intuitive, and therefore, it's not useful as a CEO for my assistant. I also think road trip not just airline flights for travel would make the travel feature more useful

Pros

Pros

We love using Zoho at Connect 2. It is very easy and straightforward. My whole team can submit their reimbursable expenses and as the Admin, it is easy to track which reports I need to approve, which reports I need to reimburse, and which reports are still waiting on me. The cool thing about Zoho is that it also sends me reminders if there is a report waiting on my decision. I usually go in and approve when I get the notification that someone submitted a report, but every now and then one will slip through the cracks.

Cons

I don't understand why I don't automatically get logged into "Admin View" and I have to toggle between that and regular view. I like being in Admin view because it is easier for me to follow the workflow and see what still needs my attention.

Cons

Dislike MFA, but it is needed to protect my privacy; It is easy to be a prey for a privacy theft. Other than this I dont have any demerits about the app

I have had a great experience with the platform. It has really given me a lot of time back. I can now focus on other facets of our administrative processes.

Pros

It streamlines my expenses process. Now I simply upload my receipt via the app and no longer have to painstakingly go through each one!

Cons

The minimum uploads per day is low. I sometimes cant get to my stack of receipts for a while and I wish their was a higher daily minumum to accomodate this.
