The overall experience has been good. The benefits outweigh the cost of the product for our internal team.

Pros

I liked the integration with Quickbooks Online the best, it makes our life way easier to have an expense tool that doesn't have bugs

Cons

The demo process was a struggle with connecting. We had to create our own meeting and have the rep connect to our session.

Great and professional. Zoho expenses is a great tool to keep your info updated and have proper register of your company adm.

Pros

The easy menu and all details clear and well structured, make easy to learn and continuo to using the app. Plus the customer support is professional and on time. if you need a personal attention via video or call, they are open to do that ,so you don't need you are only interact with machines.

Cons

i don't have any complaint. Until now, the Service and the User interface make my life easy and my information is well organised.

Overall it seems to be OK will do another review during the next test phase. I seem to like the look and feel of the software.

Pros

The fact that it can be integrated with Zoho books Will like to explore more to be sure it is what we want as what we were looking for was just a procurement module.

Cons

Not yet fully checked but will be looking forward to exploring further integration possibilities and how to fine tune the process map.

I was recommended by another business owner and I'm very grateful he did. It has changed my company's expenses dramatically.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use for my own personal expenses and love how easy it is to provide payments to employees. I have complete transparency of my expenses and know it does properly.

Cons

The only con I have is the mileage tracker sometimes seems to miss some mileage. This being said my team travels in very remote areas of the US.

Actually, my company was using a manual petty cash process, but after we started using Zoho Expense, the process has been seamless.

Pros

The fact that I don’t need to post petty cash expenses after they have been approved, that the comment section can be used for internal communication, and that all approvers are notified.

Cons

None for now. I would recommend the Zoho accounting package to small business owners because it is easy to understand and use.

Pros

Easy to use from the begining. When installed the app it was easy to use and relevelent to what i needed.

Cons

I don't like that it is not free, but i understand that a lot of work has gone into it and it needs to be paid for.

Easy to use! Connecting the cards was simple and straightforward. It is a plus because my client is big on Zoho.

Pros

I connects well to Amex and other cards. It generates a nice looking report. It also exports the raw data so you can create a pivot table of the categorized expenses.

Cons

Maybe it provides this, but I would like to have seen a summary of the categorized expenses by our internal cost account codes.

EASY TO USE, and keeps things organized when coming back from work trips, but should be a global subscription not single country

Pros

IT MAKES LIFE ALOT EASIER WHEN TRAVELING. it is hard to keep invoices in check when on the go and zoho makes it manage able

Cons

TO EXPENSIVE FOR GLOBAL MULTI COUNTRY ACCOUNTS. for 2 seperate countries i have to get 2 subscriptions and that is making it a burdend

So far, my experience has been great. I use it to track my expenses, and I am no longer worried about losing receipts because I take pictures of them right away. At the end of the month, I can generate the report and submit it. So yeah, it's been great.

Pros

What I like is that it scans the receipts, and the reports include a picture of the receipts. The report generated is clear and concise.

Cons

I'm a new user, so the only thing I have not figured out is how to upload an online receipt from my phone, however I can do it from my laptop.

Very helpful. The auto scan feature is absolutely a massive time saver. This literally saves so many hours of time.

Cons

I wish there was a higher daily scan limit as well as a higher monthly limit. They are willing to lift it with temporary exceptions.

Pros

I am able to keep track to my credit card expenses easily.

Cons

I wish there were a place to put a work order number. It would also be nice if I could upload the credit card statement to match the invoices.

### "A welcome change in expense categorization"

On the whole I would say that Zoho Expense has been a very welcome change from the system we used previously. I can't imagine going back.

Pros

The automated workflows across the board, to pull transactions straight from our corporate card, reminders to users to categorize their transactions and submit reports, reminders to managers to review and approve said reports, and MOST of all, the Z-Receipts feature where we can simply forward an email to a dedicated individualized address and it will read both the email and any attachments, and then turn them into attachments for reporting. It's beautiful in its simplicity and utility.

Cons

There were some kinks in the setup process, particularly issues with one user's access to the web portal, as it seemed to think he had set up 2FA on the mobile app when he had not and consequently locked him out. There was also a lot of legwork to setting up our accounting categories at the start, but that all worked out in the end.

My overall experience with Zoho Expense has been largely positive, especially because it cuts down a lot of manual work and keeps team spending transparent. The security controls and automated checks give confidence. It offers a solid value for money for most use cases, but costs can creep up when you start using the more advanced features

Pros

1\. Really liked how quickly I could see expenses coming in. Also submitting bills from the mobile app felt smooth, just click a picture, fill two fields and its done. 2. The automated policy checks saved me so much manual review time. 3. The multi-level approval flow is clean and logical. 4. Because I already use Zoho products, the sync was almost plug-and-play. 5. No complicated setup, and the integration with payments and reimbursements works efficiently most of the time. 6. Zoho expense feels reliable from a security point of view.

Cons

1\. The receipt scanning sometimes misreads amounts or vendor names, especially on faded bills. 2. The reporting is good and functional but not very visually rich from my point of view. 3. At times support responds quickly, but during peak days it feels like the queries go into the queue and take longer than expected. 4. Customization takes time as I had to watch tutorials just to configure certain policies properly. 5. For smaller teams the cost is fine and seems value for money, but for growing teams it can add up faster than expected.

Our team is really happy with Zoho expense. It's simplified the process for them in recording and tracking their expenses and saves time.

Pros

I think it's a great value for the cost. We've been able to customize it to meet our needs. It allows us to track our expenses more efficiently and is saving a lot of time on the finance side.

Cons

We use Quickbooks Online and use classes in addition to the account/catergories. It would be helpful if we could have an option to include that to simplify importing reports into QB.

We began using this several months ago. Getting staff to turn in and code receipts used to be a slog, involving chasing folks down. Now reconciliations are completed sometimes same day as the statements come out.

Pros

Zoho Expense has streamlined my organizations receipt submission process. It's so easy for staff to upload their receipts in real time, so there's no excuse for lost receipts.

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike at this time. The learning curve can be challenging for less tech savvy users, but with time it makes sense.

I think that it is easy to use, and a great way to streamline an Expense process for a business. I just used the real time mileage tracker and that was really easy.

Pros

Once you got the hang of submitting an expense, it was easy and seamless to use. You can take a picture of receipts on your phone, so you don't have to worry about paper logs. I also like the chart that shows what you are spending your money on.

Cons

At first we didn't realize that we needed to create report to submit an expense. Now that we know that, it is easy to use.

Pros

I like that everything I need is in one space. Especially since I run several companies. Being able to take pictures of my receipts is irreplaceable

Cons

I think the delegate notifications are not intuitive, and therefore, it's not useful as a CEO for my assistant. I also think road trip not just airline flights for travel would make the travel feature more useful

Pros

Starting a business can be a daunting task. Under the stress of navigating taxes and regulations for start-ups, I found Zoho and decided to give it a try. I was amazed by the simplicity and convenient features on the interface. What I liked most about the product is that I could link my business credit card and the software could track expenses in real time and allow me to take a picture of the receipt and upload it on the spot, making it simple for IRS purposes.

No knowing what capabilities the free version will provide and if it would work for my business needs.

We've just begun using Zoho Expense but I think it will really increase our finance team's productivity.

Pros

It has the features we need to more efficiently do business and save time. The price is really the most important thing though, it was cheaper than some of the competition.

Cons

The interface is not the most intuitive. I do like some of the competition better when it comes to this. However, it's nothing you can't navigate with a little effort.

Overall, Zoho Expense was just what I needed to properly track and ensure expenses were reimbursed. I was going to say that "For the cost, it cannot be beat" but that doesn't do it justice. it easily matches the capability of much more costly solutions.

Pros

Ease of use and met all of my needs. It represents an unparalleled value. no other expense tracking app that I researched offered this level of capability for the cost, That is to say that in addition to the functionality, I like to the value that it offers.

Cons

OCR could be better. There's not much to not like, The app is fully featured. I suppose if I had to come up with another criticism it's that I often had to Google how to do something as the built in help was a little lacking, Small price to pay though for such a great value.

I have had a great experience with the platform. It has really given me a lot of time back. I can now focus on other facets of our administrative processes.

Pros

It streamlines my expenses process. Now I simply upload my receipt via the app and no longer have to painstakingly go through each one!

Cons

The minimum uploads per day is low. I sometimes cant get to my stack of receipts for a while and I wish their was a higher daily minumum to accomodate this.
