Having used Xtensio for a few years now, I think it's a very strong product that allows me to bring to life many concepts in a visually pleasing environment. The fact that I can share these products as live links helps me deliver a living product that can evolve over time.

Pros

Xtensio has done well to bring the needs of template modification combined with the many template offerings. They provide a good base to work from, while giving the flexibility to evolve templates into custom products that can provide a strong visual appearance.

Cons

Like any product, there are some odds and ends that I would view as opportunities for improvement. For example, their "undo" button is somewhat specific, not covering all aspects of changes. Their product also has some particular quirks where pasting without formatting can sometimes reset other text colour in another module.

Xtensio is a great sales tool that is almost ready for prime time. My designer and I spent too much time on design, but we liked what we got. In the end, we sent out the PDF of the proposal instead because were worried about how it looks on mobile phones. The \[sensitive content hidden\] is responsive and I think they'll get there, but we did get a refund before the return window. We hope to come back to it eventually.

Pros

The ability to track analytics on the engagement of a prospect so I could see what was appealing to them the most.

Cons

The information architecture of the platform is puzzling. Templates and Folios are not delineated in a way that is helpful to users. The app struggled with some browsers and I had a lot of issues with loading. Lastly, there need to be more editing tools. A hugely cool app that needs more development and cleanup.

Overall my experience is positive, if you're studying marketing I would recommend trying the free templates out!

Pros

The persona and customer journey templates for my Uni work are clear and easy to follow, it also exports in a high resolution.

Cons

Some limitations on the number of exports with a free account, which isn't ideal for when I need to go back and amend my work.

Pros

The templates are just awesome if you are looking cool presentations .It is also easy to navigate.

Overall, my experience was good. Xtensio is a very convenient and easy-to-use tool, and it certainly stands out in terms of functionality and template variety. However, the watermark on the trial version was a drawback that made the free trial less useful than I had hoped.

Pros

I liked that Xtensio's website was very user-friendly. I used it to create a persona for a class assignment, and I found it much easier to find templates compared to other websites. Editing was simple, and I loved the color options available. Plus, it was great that I could track the history of my edits, which helped me manage my work more effectively.

Cons

The only downside was that I purchased the trial version since I only needed it once. However, even with the trial, it still downloaded with a watermark. I understand that companies want to make a profit, but from a user’s perspective, it was a bit frustrating, especially since I couldn't even take a screenshot without the watermark appearing. This felt a little restrictive.

My overall experience was lovely. I was able to achieve my goal. At the time, I needed to create a User Persona, and I was able to do that seamlessly.

Pros

The customisability of the templates. I loved how easy it was to customise the template to fit my vision. When done, it was also very easy to export and use.

Cons

Honestly, so far, nothing. Although, it would be nice to have more asthetics. The design sometimes feels bland.

I like Xtensio. For generating content quickly and without a lot of fuss, in specific topical areas, this is my go-to tool. The learning curve is fairly shallow, and as I learn new tricks it is easy to go back and make changes. I have found that over time, lots of things start to look the same - there is an Xtensio "look." This isn't a problem for mostly-internal documents, but I also use other tools to create a wider variety of content.

Pros

It is modular - if your content needs align with an existing template, it is quick and easy to create a customized high-quality and informative infographic. Wide range of customization options. Things work pretty much as you'd expect them to. Excellent customer support.

Cons

Although there are lots of options, the existing set of templates feels constrained - if they serve your specific needs then you are in luck. If not, you can create a template from scratch but without a lot of guidance.

Upon visiting the Xtensio website for the first time, I was immediately struck by its clean and modern design. The layout is visually appealing and the intuitive navigation made it easy to explore the various features and offerings. I was literally up till 3 a.m just browsing through the website.

Pros

I love that Xtensio has a wide range of customizable templates for various business and design needs, such as business plans, user journey maps, marketing reports, and personas. I love how easy it is to just fill in the blanks with these templates.

Cons

The pricing is competitive. It has a comprehensive resource section with tutorials, case studies, and FAQs.

Pros

Easy to use and to customize templates to jump start your projects. A good selection of different tones and feel in the templates helps your ability to have your own tone, touch, and feel of content.

Cons

While the templates options are strong, I find it challenging to find new templates that may give me new ideas. I find good templates for existing ideas but am not finding new ways to expand my use case.

Pros

What I liked most about Xtensio is the potential it has, especially for college students who's just trying to find something to get by. This brand is good for people wanting to use data and different methods to make tons of graphs or personas. I also like the many options it has for making specific data.

Cons

What I don't like is how some templates doesn't allow a lot of changes to be made to them, on top of needing to pay for premium to download a graph when worked so hard on.

Pros

The ease of being able to create branded sales sheets for our various partners is amazing. The digital sales sheet that can be constantly updated without having to send our partners new links and files is a massive win!

Cons

There were a couple of times that the section formatting didn't match from the editable page vs the link to the presentable page. This seemed to correct itself in a short amount of time so it wasn't that big of an impact.
