### "Reliable, Versatile, and Still the Gold Standard for Presentations"

February 26, 2026

5.0

It’s a versatile tool that works for everything from quick team updates to high-level executive presentations.

Pros

The versatility. It works just as well for a quick internal update as it does for a high-stakes executive presentation. The design tools, templates, and slide master features make it easy to create clean, professional visuals without needing advanced graphic design skills

Cons

Formatting can sometimes shift between different versions or when opened on another device, which can be frustrating right before a big presentation.

### "\*\*A Reliable and Versatile Presentation Tool\*\*"

February 4, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Microsoft PowerPoint has been largely positive and reliable. It’s a powerful, familiar tool that makes creating and presenting information straightforward, whether for school, work, or presentations to large audiences

Pros

What I liked most about Microsoft PowerPoint is how quickly it lets you turn ideas into something visual and shareable. It’s flexible enough for everything

Cons

What I liked least about Microsoft PowerPoint is that it can encourage cluttered, text-heavy slides if you’re not careful. It’s easy to overuse animations and transitions

I made the switch because Microsoft PowerPoint is widely accepted, easy to use, and works well across different devices and environments

### "Good with time to invest "

February 12, 2026

3.0

Overall my experience with Microsoft Power Point it´s ok, but I need to take my time to create my presentation.

Pros

What I like about microsoft power point is that gives the opportunity to customize your presentation with animations and movement.

Cons

What I don´t like about microsoft power point is the large file that is created when you embed a file, there is not to much explanation about all the features that they have.

### "Good graphics fit with Office suite"

January 7, 2026

3.0

Use it a lot for both presentations and other simple graphics (eg for cards, brochures, symbols and the like

Pros

Good for producing professional presentations quite quickly. I like the flexibility of layout and text. Works well alongside MS Word and other Office apps

Cons

Graphics tools are limited; not easy to get perfect size for A4 leaflet pages; very irritating that colours keep changing if you copy a grapgh to a new page to show different figures

Reason for choosing Microsoft PowerPoint

Much more flexible and professional. Better fit with other MS products.

### "No other software compares to powerpoint and it is consistently reliable"

March 9, 2026

5.0

I am 31 and have used powerpoint since I was a child. It has helped in school presentations, university and work presentations. Other software companies have created similar products but nothing compares to powerpoint. It is reliable and can be integrated with other microsoft products like Word. It is always updating and implementing new features, I will never choose anything else!

Pros

Ability to make quality presentations in very little time. The 'Design' tool helps you tidy up the photos and words on your slides into a consistent professional looking layout. It can be used with or without wifi connection. You can write notes under each slide to read during a presentation

Cons

Sometimes the formatting can be a bit confusing, like when you change something on the slide, it can move around the other diagrams, but that is more of a user issue opposed to a software issue, and once you understand how to use the formatting toolbox it's not an issue

### "Stability and Flexibility "

February 21, 2026

4.0

PowerPoint for me remains one of the most accurate tools for creating and delivering my presentations.

Pros

PowerPoint provides a strong value for money. The extensive selection of built in templates makes it easy to create professional presentations in no time. The video editing is very practical. Ease of use is fantastic, the interface is intuitive and most of the features are easy to learn. Spreadsheet and formulas integration with Excel is a big advantage. The customer support is very well supported through online and documentation.

Cons

there are some occasional bugs and issues especially with formatting when presentations are opened on multiple devices.

Excellent. Great experience with powerpoint. Its been my go-to for years. All of our presentations are made using powerpoint.

Pros

I used it for everything, from presentations to image editing, you can genuinly make anything using powerpoint.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say about powerpoint, one of the best bits of software going. It can be as simple or complexed as you like. If pushed some better templates would be nice.

### "Use PowerPoint. You'll love it!"

March 19, 2026

5.0

Absolutely love PowerPoint to create presentations for individual training exercises as well as creating fun teaching slides for children. This programs is user friendly all the time.

Pros

PowerPoint is an absolutely wonderful product to use. The templates are user friendly, the value is extremely affordable for the product, the video editing is simple to use but if you get stuck then their customer support is outstanding. I haven't encountered bugs or issues with the program and I haven't done spreadsheets and formulas with it either.

Cons

Placing music to different slides can be challenging but if you get stuck then you can contact customer support and they will help out anytime.

### "My first choice for creating presentations slides"

March 13, 2026

5.0

It is great and the best choice for the application it serves, and I will prefer it for the slide designer it provides.

Pros

It provides great value for the cost, and the customer support is always responsive to queries. It is very easy to use for editing and building presentations, in addition to a wide range of helpful templates. It also usefully supports working with spreadsheets and formulas, and all of this works flawlessly and bug-free.

Cons

It is not the most intuitive or fastest to work with; I have not checked for some time now, but I hope an AI agent will be fully integrated and designing will be an easier and more fun process.

### "Great Option"

November 5, 2025

4.0

Overall, it's a pretty good product. It can do many things but it doesn't have the most "aesthetic" designs or options, so if that's what you're looking for, then I would suggest a different option. While it can feel a bit limited for advanced design work, its accessibility and integration with other Microsoft tools does make it reliable.

Pros

I enjoy the smart designs. They are very helpful when I'm trying to just get the information in and it will do the rest to make it look nice.

Cons

PowerPoint can be a bit difficult to navigate, so it's not very user-friendly. If you have previous experience with PowerPoint, it is easier, but sometimes even I have difficulty. Another area is graphics and stuff like that. They do not have a very wide selection so you may need to go elsewhere to get what you want and try to put it in.

### "Power point review"

July 11, 2025

5.0

PowerPoint performs well, and its been there forever for many of the workers who are less than 30 years old. So most people is confortable working with it, and part of the strenghts of powerpoint its is ease of use, but powerpoint can also be used for some more advanced ussers and we might not have the freedom we would like to.

Pros

Power point its been the default option for a large part of any workforce to make presentation, however Microsoft seriously nee to consider to update powerpoint for good. Besides the software performes well on its purposes I think I does not give the easy, and flexibility to make and personalize presentation to the user. That is functionality, but you to update the looking and make it more modern would also help. My message is that there is 100% no doubt in my opinion that microsoft needs to work on improving powerpoint.

Cons

I think one of the most used characteristics of power point, should be the tab "animations" & "transition" and there is where I think powerpoint needs to improve. the small menu "transitions and animations" has. Is just something I never like. And when you drop the full menu, the icons of the animations are old and does not tell you anything abnout what the animation or transition is. Those images where something sutable for the 2008 software, but I believe those options for transitions and animations should include an "animation" of what do those actually do. So that you can quickly see what is the one you want. not everyone is going to like something like this, but I want to see those kind of changes in power point.

### "\*\*"Microsoft PowerPoint: A Classic Presentation Tool with Endless Possibilities"\*\*"

May 5, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with Microsoft PowerPoint is that it’s a \*\*reliable and versatile tool\*\* for creating presentations, whether for business, education, or personal use. It strikes a good balance between \*\*ease of use and depth of functionality\*\*—most users can create something decent quickly, while power users can go much further with design tools, animations, and data integration. However, to get the best results, users often need to \*\*go beyond the defaults\*\*, because basic templates and overused effects can lead to bland or ineffective presentations if not used thoughtfully. Collaboration tools have improved, especially with Microsoft 365, but \*\*real-time co-authoring\*\* can still lag behind competitors like Google Slides in some scenarios.

Pros

What I like most about Microsoft PowerPoint is its \*\*balance of simplicity and flexibility\*\*. It’s easy for beginners to start creating presentations quickly, but it also has powerful features—like \*\*Slide Master\*\*, \*\*animations\*\*, \*\*custom templates\*\*, and \*\*integration with multimedia\*\*—that let more advanced users build highly polished, dynamic slides. Its integration with other Microsoft 365 tools (like Excel and Word) also makes it a solid choice for professionals needing to present data or collaborate across teams.

Cons

What I like least about Microsoft PowerPoint is that it can encourage \*\*style over substance\*\*—people sometimes rely too much on flashy animations or overloaded slides instead of focusing on clear, effective communication. Also, while it's powerful, some advanced formatting or layout tweaks can feel \*\*clunky or unintuitive\*\*, especially when trying to align objects precisely or manage slide consistency without using Slide Master effectively.

### "Microsoft PowerPoint is a great application"

April 16, 2025

4.0

My experience in general for the application was good as I used to use it a lot in my work and study matters and I always turned it on only on the computer and it showed a great performance

Pros

Microsoft PowerPoint is a wonderful application, and one of the things I liked most about it is how to teach through it, as it provides the content as if it were scenes instead of boring writing, and this pushes the student or student to be attracted to the content and supplement it.

Cons

The thing I didn't like the most about it was the difficulty of using it on the mobile phone and because of that I was only using it on the computer and this is what delayed after my work sometimes.

### "Training Opportunities "

January 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience is positive as I love the ability to create a slide show to help in the training of new employees or even for staff meetings.

Pros

What I like about Microsoft PowerPoint is the ability to provide a slide show during meetings to staff members or to better explain a new policy, software, or communication method. It's a great way of training someone new.

Cons

What I least like about it is the ability to get used to it. I use this to conduct easier to use method for training the new employees and sometimes it can get confusing to make it more interesting by adding effects to make the slideshow interesting and not basic.

### "MS Powerpoint is fexible, creative, and easy to use"

July 18, 2025

5.0

Overall, I enjoy MS Powerpoint because it offers a lot of tools and functionality to present. Very customizable with the transitions and animations, feels as though you're only limited by your creativity. Aside from the linear presentation format, ppt helps to get points across and supports presenting very well.

Pros

Powerpoint offers a variety of ways to make a presentation in terms of customizations with transitions, fonts, animations, embedding contents, live collaboration (only if saved to OneDrive or SharePoint). You can also download many different templates made by others online.

Cons

One disadvantage of powerpoint is that it provides a mainly linear way of presenting (slide by slide format). If there were options to make an 'interactive dashboard' to present it might make presenting a little more efficient and make it easier to expand on topics/info.

Pros

Powerpoint is a surprisingly versatile program with easy-to-use editing tools, capable of handling large format sizes, high resolution images and vector graphics.

Cons

I would love to see updated tools for image background removal plus the option to preview CMYK color.

### "Easy to use in a pinch, with limited features"

December 19, 2025

4.0

I am a long time user of Microsoft PowerPoint. Over the years I have pivoted to using Canva more often as it's graphics and design elements are far more advanced and overall easier to use. Microsoft PowerPoint has made great improvements over the past few years, but they still aren't there yet.

Pros

Microsoft has evolved over the past few years and has become easier to use, with more templates that are point and click.

Cons

Graphics are limited in the Microsoft PowerPoint environment, and that can feel limiting depending on the project needs.

### "Good for a quick presentation"

December 8, 2025

4.0

I am happy working with Powerpoint as I can give it my own feeling. However, I have to go back constantly and keep reverting information as the new changes are making it more difficult to use quickly.

Pros

I like how they are getting more templates that you can choose from. This helps make it easy to get started when you want to prepare some information to share.

Cons

The program is getting more complicated than in the past. They are trying to do more and more and it gets cluttered and frustrating.
