The main thing which makes this company unique is that they help to make your videos inspiring, influential, motivational, encouraging, meaningful and valuable. Your videos matters. Renderforest is born to inspire. It is really precious. Pros A really powerful tool to visualize and present your ideas. You can create any explanation cartoon, business logo presentation, educational cartoon, commercials, whatever you like! Besides, you can create a landing page which will suit your cartoons. Well, it is really inspiring and impressive. And you can use the native music tracks or your own tracks. You can add your own pictures, quotes or statements. You can motivate your public, engage your customers, or capture the attention of your pupils, students or learners! You can choose any plot for you cartoon, any colors, any characters. The only disadvantage is that price plan policies are a little bit misleading. Cons Price plans are a little bit misleading. For instance, if you are not a huge, international company but yet you want to create some beautiful videos for you friends without watermarks, but quite a small number of videos (30 videos per month or fewer), you probably don't need expensive plans, but Renderforest doesn't really explain what kind of price plan to choose in this case. Is it marketing of something? A little bit discouraging... If you need only 1 video daily... December 3, 2025 2.0 Tried it. It took a lot of time to get one 30 second video ready due to the many bugs in the editing functions. Pros It's easy to find pre-set scenes and if you are creating something very basic you can do it quite quickly. I tried to create a 30 second explainer video. Cons There are a lot of bugs which makes me surprised they are charging for the product at this stage. Text to speech results in speech volume going up and down across different clips. Means you can't use this function without putting it other software to fix the levels. Each text to audio seems to leave a full second at the end of the audio generation. If you drag the audio clip to shorten by one second, two things happen. When it renders it repeats the last word. The next audio clip cannot be picked and moved backwards to seemlessly join to the previous. Again, it appears the only way is to put it in filmora, premier or other software, thus defeating the purpose a bit. You can only click and extend or shorten a scene in second blocks. Nearly all other software allows you more control. The constant rendering drove me a little nuts. Every time you modify a scene and then press play it renders. It doesn't need to. You are in an edit mode. Two other key bugs included a regular (perhaps every 15mins) server API error box. Once closed the software appeared to run again. Secondly, you would be editing a scene and it would continually bring up "You need to Save" with the only click options as Leave or Stay. There was no save function I could find anywhere. There is the basis of a good product here but the bugs need to be ironed out. Perhaps it does other video options better but for explainer videos it fell short. At the moment, it is behind other products like easyvid and hypernatural. Literally anyone can use it No need to install it, it's cloud based and secure. Saves storage space. It has the same functionality for different operating systems, which means I can do the same things and have access to same same tools on both my IOS and Android devices. The free account doesn't force you to get a premium account. You can basically tryout all the templates without having to pay first. Though the free account can only export up to 3 minutes, it doesn't restrict on the number of projects you can work on. Cons There are limited customization options for the premade templates. Most recently, I used Renderforest to create campaign videos for a candidate in an election. I have also used Renderforest to create animations and explainer videos for my YouTube channel. Pros Renderforest helps me make professional looking videos to showcase my products and it is easy to use. It comes with numerous options to customize the videos and make them suit my needs. Each template has numerous slides which can be pieced together to create any type of presentation. Renderforest also allows you to customize text to highlight your own message and branding. I have used it to make presentations and explainer videos. I have also used it to showcase my apps on the various app stores. It also comes with a free version so I can try out ideas and use Renderforest without having to pay a dime. Renderforest also stores your videos online so I do not need to worry about securing online storage. Cons Despite being easy to use, Renderforest has quite numerous options and templates. Sifting through these can be time consuming. I call it the curse of abundance. Some of the templates are only limited to a number of slides and so this limits what one can do with certain presentations. It focuses on drag and drop customization, and offers thousands of templates to chose from. No matter the style or tone you need, there is something for you. I accidentally made a mistype in the video I made, and once I discovered it I contacted them and they were kind enough to help with it and re-render it again after I edited it with no additional charges, and I'm very grateful for that. No download software needed, it's all online here which is great, their trial version offered really self explaining tools for logo creation and intro templates. It did the job I needed in a pinch and I can tell you can really go hog wild on the paid more extensive programs if you needed. I highly recommend you get on that free trial first and see if you like it because it saved me a huge some of money having a third party do this for me on a few of our video projects...
