Better time management for our staff and improved quality of medical charting/recording

Pros

Very easy to "on-board" because the TurboPT staff are great trainers. They've probably gone thru this training a zillion times, but they remain calm and patient. Also, TurboPT has not tried to "nickel and dime" us to death. Good value.

Cons

It's not yet Apple compatible so I can use my MacBook, iPad, etc in order to check my schedule from my home office (an Apple home!)

### "Great Program for Physical Therapy Clinics"

TurboPT is a great software that our business uses daily. I don't know how we would manage without it.

Pros

This software is very user friendly. Scheduling, EMR, and patient management are the 3 most important features for me. TurboPT's customer service is top-notch. Anytime I have a question or problem they respond almost immediately to assist me.

Cons

Everything is pretty great! They actually listen to your suggestions if you want something to be added or changed.

### "Made promises they couldn't keep"

Scheduling patients, entering payments

Pros

I like the format of the program. Patient information is displayed nicely with a good "tab system". The tech support customer service is good. Always very helpful and explain how to solve problems so that I understand.

Cons

Every time there is an update, there are changes made that are unnecessarily difficult. For example, they used to have the hour slots a slightly bolder line than the 15 minute increments. It made scheduling so much easier with multiple providers, but they took it away and I submitted a formal complaint and it was never addressed. There is one specific incident that really upset myself and my company. We were informed at the beginning of 2016 that our price per month was doubling since they were launching new features. They sent an entire list of features that have never been executed. For instance, we were supposed to have a mobile view of the program so our providers could see their schedule on their phone. We were also told we could check benefits through the program. Both of which are not possible (without paying more for the benefits) and we were forced to pay double the amount. So we have been paying for these promised services for a year and a half and not receiving any of them.

I have had a very positive experience with TurboPT from the beginning with the Demo and talking with our sales rep to help with customer support they are quick with responses when we email them with probelms or concerns we are having with the software.

Pros

That the EMR and billing is within the same system, so we don't have to access or intergrade with another system for billing. Also, that we have access to our clearing house

Cons

Some of the reports and how don't pull what is needed, and they there are no alerts for for ending auths.

Pros

With respect to documentation, it is very simple to use and navigate. I like that the program notifies me when G-codes are needed or if MC patients have met their cap. As a new clinic owner, I am learning all aspects of Turbo from scheduling to billing to running statements and submitting claims. This has been challenging since I have never had to deal with the administrative side of things, but the support they provide has been quick to respond and very helpful.

Cons

The program does not inform you when an update has been issued. Add-ons, such as the clearinghouse and eligibility, which would make this program amazing are just way too expensive, especially for a new business.

It is a positive experience using turbo, it’s just not as efficient as something could be, in my opinion.

Pros

I like the color coordinating, the use of insurance verification, the way you have options to send Text reminders or email reminders.

Cons

I do not like that you have to press “edit” before you do anything on any form. I don’t like that you can’t print out the whole entire schedule so you can read each patient’s name. I work in a clinic with about 10 therapists, and anything over that would be obscure and hard to handle using this software. I’ve only used it for about 6 months but it is always a hard system for people I am training to get the hang of. My clinic is two different entities so we make it difficult as well.

Ease of use, being able to check benefits and eligibility and billing and PQRS reporting with one company.

Pros

We really like that we can do all of our billing, documentation, exercises and PQRS reporting from one site.

Cons

We have found nothing that we don't like.

Overall, it's been a really good experience. I'm just surprised more effort hasn't been made to improve certain features.

Pros

I like that they take into account feedback from users and introduce updates to address issues and even add new features based on that feedback.

Cons

Some features that would seem like a necessity, but still aren't available through Turbo are things as simple as not being able to reschedule a block to another day or edit the notes in a block.

Great. It's working now and as I grow, I think it has the functionality to adapt along with me.

Pros

It was a pretty seamless transition from my old software to this one. The training period was less than a few weeks and I was able to keep my business running while we made the switch. The customer support is great. Best via email, as phone calls are hard to set up, with me being in patient care all the time. Representatives has been a great support for tech issues, and answered all of my questions when I was purchasing the system. It is simple enough for me to use, and I know there is more functionality there when I am ready to use it. My biller finds it easy to use as well.

Cons

Well I wish it had more speech therapy templates. I'm an SLP and it's really PT focused. But it works, I've been able to adjust. Also it's more expensive than what I had before. But you get what you pay for, and Turbo works.

Pros

Easy to navigate. I was able to find my way around without any difficulty and that is extremely important for showing new users and training.

Cons

The only complaint I could come up with about this software is that when I first started using it I had a problem with it freezing up. It happened one time and never happened again.

Turbo PT was an absolute nightmare to set up. Because of billing issues over the first 6 months, we ended up losing revenue that would have easily made up the difference for a little more costly service. Their tech support rarely calls back within a reasonable time, and there have been times where we do not get a call back at all. Posting payments is an arduous task, and building templates/quick notes is also a pain.

Over all my experience was pleasant. It is fast and easy to learn.

Pros

It was simple to understand and use. It was basic and to the point. You wrote your note and copied and pasted the goals from the previous note. Most of the time they would automatically populate. You had to erase the data from the previous tx session.

Cons

You could not upload your companies letter head to the eval template, and if it is a feature it was hard to find. I had to write my evals on a word doc that I formulated with the company letter head.
