I would recommend highly recommend Consensus. It's by far the best sales enablement tool I use. The screen recording tool works incredibly well, and the ability to have a library of demo videos to fall back on is well worth the investment

Pros

In sales, it's crucial that I can quickly respond to customer requests for product demos, but scheduling can sometimes get in the way of that happening. With Consensus, I'm able to send personalized, actionable content with just a few clicks.

Cons

I think it can sometimes be difficult to find the videos I'm looking for, but overall, I like the tool very much.

Pros

Consensus makes it easy to share tailored product demos which is a huge time-saver when prospects need to loop in additional stakeholders between discovery and formal demo stages. The engagement analytics showing who watched what and for how long give us genuinely useful signals to prioritise follow-up conversations.

Cons

The content management side can get messy quickly unless you build out a well-structured, maintained library.

I love how quick and easy it is to use Consensus. It seamlessly integrates with Salesforce, enhancing my workflow. I appreciate that I can track how much my clients are interacting with the content I share, which helps me identify what is most important to them and address their concerns effectively. The time savings for both my engineer and myself are significant, as it allows us to qualify or disqualify opportunities early on and send personalized follow-up emails efficiently. Furthermore, as an end user, I found the setup to be super easy since I simply logged in with SSO and was ready to go, which speaks volumes about its user-friendliness

Cons

Sometimes it takes too long or requires too many inputs to create a single experience demo board. I wish there was a feature to create preset boards that could be easily included in emails.

I really appreciate how Consensus integrates seamlessly with Gmail, making it incredibly easy to send and attach interactive demos directly within emails. This integration streamlines my workflow, allowing me to save a significant amount of time in my sales process. The platform enables me to send a general overview demo which excites prospects and covers the basic functionalities, so by the time we have a live demo, we can dive deeper into the platform. It also provides me the ability to track when prospects engage with the demo content, helping me gauge their level of interest and engagement. This feature is crucial in understanding what's important to the folks I'm presenting to, allowing me to tailor my interactions accordingly. Additionally, the initial setup of Consensus was smooth and straightforward, thanks to the excellent support from the account team, customer success manager, and account executive who provided valuable onboarding sessions and resources. These aspects of Consensus not only enhance my efficiency but also add considerable value to my sales cycle.

Cons

Hard to say what I like least about Consensus given the only thing to compare it to is life before Consensus. It accomplishes what I need it to do - i.e. add value and increase deal velocity.

Pros

Ease of use being able to add thumbnail videos straight into my emails to customers. Could track when a prospect has view the video.

Analytics could be a little more in depth and easy to use, platform for viewing feedback is not great visually

Pros

Love that I know when a demo is watched or forwarded. Helps me timely calls and follow ups, and shows if a deal is still worth chasing.

Cons

I don't like the playback function for users. Kind of timeconsuming and changes a lot. With a tweak it would be fine

Cons

Sometimes the setup of a demoboard could have more clicks than desired, and would be great to be notified about specific areas of interest without having to log in and view.

Pros

What I like most about Consensus is how incredibly user-friendly it is, both for myself and my customers. It makes it so easy to connect with prospects in a meaningful, on-demand way, without the back-and-forth of scheduling live demos. Consensus offers great, real-time insights into how customers are consuming my content, informing me on who to reach out to and when.

Cons

Nothing bad to say. The only challenge that I have, if any, is that my uploads are limited to a maximum of 2 hours, but I believe that is a company setting, not a consensus issue.

Pros

Consensus is unmatched in its analytics and its ability to discover stakeholders in enterprise deals. We work with a niche buyer who has a complex buying group and Consensus helps us understand what each person is thinking.

Cons

I wish the analytics would have more options for viewing. Something like a dashboard would make reporting to executive leadership much easier.

Cons

Its important to find a balance between all the data to track and the time to spend on generating a demo link. Ideally, I would want a demo link to autogenerate by simply putting the SFDC opp in Consensus

Very positive - an integral part of our sales engineering function. The Account Managers are also very friendly and helpful. It is an easy to use platform and it allows us to share material easily and gage interest in quickly in what would other be a very manual and lengthy process.

Pros

Consensus really helps our pre-sales/sales engineering team share effortlessly with the wider (and large) sales organisation. We tend to use Consensus in three different ways: (1) pre-demo 'Netflix Trailer' so that everyone is coming to the meeting informed on what they will see (2) up-selling modules/solutions that may be of interest to clients but are at exploratory stage (saving internal time and resource) and (3) post-demo follow ups. It is slick and saves a lot of time as well as an effective knowledge sharing tool. Very popular with the sales organisation as they do not have to rely on pre-sales all of the time.

Cons

No dislikes - easy to use. Perhaps it could be easier to add in marketing visuals at the beginning of demonstrations, but this may be a lack of knowledge internally.

Overall, it has been a tremendous experience using Consensus. It has improved the speed of the sales process and given the buyers the information they want quickly. We have received tons of positive feedback from our customers on how those videos have helped them also.

Pros

Consensus has helped us make it easier for our customers to research and buy our product. It also has helped us find additional stakeholders that may not have the time for live online demos. The end goal is we want the purchase process to be easy and fun and Consensus really helps us with that.

Cons

I honestly cant think of anything I do not like about Consensus. In the rare instance we do have issues our CSM and AE have been very quick to respond.

Consensus has made it much easier for me to avoid searching through various internal sites for different demos. It’s saving me a significant amount of time.

Pros

After hour long strategy sessions with my customers, I typically (at least hopefully) have many opportunities to follow up on. This often means I need to send a significant amount of information and demos. Consensus has made this process much simpler for me by allowing me to provide my customers with a single link where they can review everything we discussed during our calls. I also appreciate being able to track exactly what my customers watch and how much of it they view.

Cons

After creating a demo, I noticed the button link looks a bit blocky. I realize this is a small detail, but I personally prefer smoother, rounded corners. There are still great options for the links, and I believe this may be specific to my company’s setup. I don’t remember this being an issue at my last company, where we also used Consensus.

Honestly, how easy it is to spin up short, sharp demos and send them out. Being able to pull external prospects into the flow without any hassle has made follow-ups a breeze. It saves me a stack of time and gives me a clear read on who’s actually engaged.

Cons

Nothing major - the only thing I’d like is a bit more flexibility in how I brand or personalise certain parts of the demo flow. Perhaps some drag and drop functionality for modules would be good, but that’s nitpicking.

The onboarding and support we received were excellent, which definitely helped us get value from the tool early on. It’s become a key part of our sales motion.

Pros

What really stands out about Consensus is how much time it saves our team. We started using it for presales demos, but it quickly became useful in other areas, too. Creating interactive, self-guided demos is pretty straightforward, and the fact that we can track how people engage with them has completely changed the way we handle follow-ups. It’s a much more informed and efficient process now.

Cons

It took us a little while to get comfortable with the layout and the terminology. Words like “demoboard” or “demolytics” didn’t click right away, but once we got the hang of it, everything made sense. A few things could probably be more intuitive out of the box, but nothing major.

it has been amazing, the concensus team has amazing on getting us up to speed with the product and helping us make the most of the software.

Pros

The fact that you can have video content saved and accessible to work with the different needs of your customers, and you can access this through other platforms such as Gong AI and Salesforce and Outlook it makes it even easier to work with the programme. To also get customer open in sights and seeing how a customer has interacted with the videos works great too.

Cons

nothing it works great, there isnt anything that i dont like about concensus. The way it works with the other software means i can just keep working with customers.

Its been great. Customers have loved it. Some don't watch, but at least its another value add touch point.

Pros

I love how I can show authentic demo's in between calls. Demos that are free of marketing jargon and are shown by real people.

Cons

I dislike how tedious it can be if I'm sharing multiple demos. They have addressed this with a "choose your own adventure" however, I've been unable to press a "back button" if I chose the wrong adventure. This requires me to exit and start over. A step in the right directioin tho! We werent able to even do this earlier this year.

The use of consensus has played a huge role in our growth over the last year. We leverage Consensus for all engagements, and our prospects love being able to watch digital content on their own time. It provides us with a platform to easily distribute the content our prospects requested more information on and allows us to continuously stay top of mind.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of use and the ability to stay Infront of our of our prospects in-between scheduled meetings.

Cons

Sometimes we like to send content via public links so there's no "front door" entry to watch the content. However, the analytics for public links are very limited.

Pros

As a former BDR and now a Customer Success Manager, I’ve seen the value of Consensus across the full customer journey. When I was in sales, it helped us qualify leads faster and gave prospects a chance to explore the product on their own terms—making meetings more productive. Now in CS, I’ve seen how it supports onboarding and education by giving customers easy access to consistent, on-demand content. The analytics are incredibly helpful too—we can track engagement and tailor our approach based on what’s resonating.

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve when setting up your first demos, especially if you're trying to get the flow just right. But once it’s live, the impact is worth it. Some advanced customization could be a bit more flexible, but the support team is excellent and quick to help.

Pros

The tool itself, tracking and compiling demo videos, does what it says. Easy to get up to speed and start using.

Cons

Some of the functionality of the created demos, and looking at the sent demos all together. Not a fan of comparing teammates' analytics.
