The ability to scale my systems what has set training software apart in my eyes. I have also found the customer support and the online Q & A group to be very helpful- I've gotten new ideas from other pros while reading the solutions provided by the team. I am excited to see here we can take it from here!

Pros

I find the efficiency of program design to be one of the strongest points. Creating workouts, designing Mesocycle blocks for groups of clients and delivering consistent tracking systems was my favorite thing right out of the gate. It has been a great value to my business to construct a Hybrid Training business. I can provide client messaging services and stay in touch while they complete their program, read and complete coaching, and provide support throughout the week.

Cons

To get the most out of PT Distinction, you'll have to start building routines and schedules with some detail. The good news is that as you spend more time, you can scale your business and deliver a full coaching system that can allow you to train as many clients and groups as you'd like.

This app has helped me a lot to work with people I wouldn't have been able to help before. Reasons such as distance, time, or even not having the right online tool. This app solved these problems. Therefore, this app has helped me get more clients and earn more money.

Pros

This app allows me to guide my clients through their physical training easily, quickly, and safely. In a short time, my clients understand how the app works, making their sessions much easier. Most of my clients train at home and use alternative equipment such as sandbags, kettlebells, TRX sliders, mini-bands, resistance bands, and many of these exercises aren't already in the app. However, the app allows me to create and edit them, along with their corresponding videos. This has been very useful for me.

Cons

I'm from Costa Rica, as are my clients, so I'd like the app to be available in Spanish at some point. Just in case a future client doesn't understand English.

So far i am enjoying it and have no complaint. The most important part for me is being access my programs daily and assist clients to do the same.

Pros

The simplicity of the app and its efficiency. i can navigate through it easily and also explain to clients how to follow all within.

Cons

Perhaps offer a 1year or 2 payment options. i do not necessarily have cons but i would have few suggestions : improve the refresh button as well.

My experience has been good with PT Distinction. I have also utilized Trainerize. I do prefer PTD for it's features. Each time I have reached out to Customer Service/Support, I have received a response back within 24 business hours. This is very much appreciated.

Pros

PT Distinction is user friendly from both a trainer & client perspective. As a trainer, it is nice to be able to manage a client's strength & cardio workouts, education, & nutrition in one place. I like the in-app messaging. It allows the opportunity for clients & trainers to build a stronger relationship, the trainers to be able to support their clients, & for the clients to be able to reach out if there are any concerns within their program. All of the messages are maintained under that client's name, which is very helpful if you need to review them later. The video feature is nice for a client to use if they are struggling with form or just how to perform a particular exercise. The trainer can review the video & respond back quickly. The cost of PT Distinction is reasonable and I appreciate being able to personalize my fitness app.

Cons

Currently, the Calorie Counter feature is lacking a barcode scanner. My understanding is that this will be rectified soon. I also wish it integrated with the MyNetDiary app, which is a far better macro tracking app than MyFitnessPal. I do wish the platform allowed for more integrations with 'smart devices' like Garmin, and Renpho and/or Hume products.

As a new personal trainer I’ve looked at many apps. PT Distinction checks more of the view for what I need and want than any of the others.

Pros

There are so many ways to customize the exercises and workouts. Email support has been very helpful.

Cons

No barcode scanner or way for client to see their macro goals within the tracker. This is not ideal for running training.

First and foremost, I can document my clients' training progress. This is the reason why I got the app. Clients can monitor their training progress individually or together with me. Furthermore, I can digitally optimize training and nutrition plans. Daily feedback is also part of my daily routine.

Pros

What convinces me most is that I can observe how my clients progressively improve... this is particularly motivating for my clients and of course for me as a trainer!

Cons

Honestly, there's nothing I don't like at the moment... maybe a few more exercises, although you can create your own :)

I'm very happy with PT Distinction overall.

Pros

I like that PTD is continually making improvements and updates to their app so it's a better experience for both coaches and clients.

Cons

The help desk can be slow to resolve issues, and they don't notify me when it is resolved. I always need to "pull" for updates rather than simply receiving them.

Pros

It's easy to use and has great functionality that allows customisation to create my own programs and schedule it out for my clients. Love that you can customise the brand of the app to your own.

Cons
