The reservations system is the best of any marina software I have experienced. I also like the various types of reports they are able to create. Accounts receivable has been impacted positively at my location as a result.

Pros

Molo is relatively easy to use, especially when training teammates who aren't necessarily computer saavy. The controls are intuitive and the visual layout makes navigating easy.

Cons

There are still a few bugs, but nearly all of them have workarounds. The molo team is constantly pushing out updates which continually improves the product.

Patient and understanding, calm and reassuring. Wonderful at teaching and talking through points and really incredible at findng answer for questions right away and sending videos of her doing whatever it was that was asked to be sure we understand. Both are very giving people. \[sensitive content hidden\] (I quit on \[sensitive content hidden\]before going very far, but have come back around to try again!) Looking forward to working with \[sensitive content hidden\] - we are still working through our website and \[sensitive content hidden\]is always up for anything we ask and has a lot of "web" knowledge which is a wonderful resource! Overall good experience - I tried to tackle everything at once and pretty much by myself, so it became overwhelming and the team was patient in trying to help. I did not understand at first where to find the storable conversation pages and honestly I still have trouble finding them, but have discovered to just never close the tab!

Pros

It seems like, so far, the more I use MOLO the easier it is becoming and feels like it is going to be easy for everyone to understand.

Cons

Missing a lot of "long term" slip renter qualities (yearly payment/quarterly payment options) - Also wish on POS there were button for "hot items" and refunding was a little easier. Also wish on POS there was a to separate cash drawers and sales (for instance - my service department log in and sales should be separate from my store)

I hate there credit card processing, and they will not respond on this issue.

Pros

Great software works great but the credit processing could put small marinas out of business.

Cons

Credit card processing. Customer pays, Molo collects, you will never have a definitive deposit from Molo to you. They keep your money!

### "Molo - Certainly A Step Up in Our Industry"

Molo is a solid software with only a few minor missing elements that are certainly in the development pipeline. Onboarding was a breeze, and \[sensitive content hidden\] or implementation specialist made it easy by listening to us, understanding our needs, and being patient with our questions. Our first billing has started, and we are happy with the results thus far.

Pros

Molo CRM is fantastic, with great navigable information about the customer easily located. Our staff have hopped in and are enjoying tagging customer accounts, so it's easy to keep track of the little things that prevent big problems in our industry.

Cons

There is no automated prorate-in/prorate-out feature for recurring reservations. We also need to collect the deposit and invoices upon contract signing, so a customer should be able to pay for both in one transaction. Customers should be able to add ACH bank accounts and verify them in the customer portal. They should also be able to manage AutoPay from the portal. Severales are coming or are of these featur in the pipeline, just not here yet.

My overall experience with Molo has been a positive one. I love using the system and find it very easy to support from an IT standpoint.

Pros

I love how simple and intuitive it is to use. Out of all the Marina Management Systems our company was using I was able to pick up Molo quickly and easily support each of our locations.

Cons

The simplicity has a slight cost as there are some functions in other systems that Molo doesn't currently have. However, I know Molo is growing and evolving and I am excited to see what will become available.

The overall experience is by far one the best we've had running a business. Comparing it to other Marina Management and Storage systems, with the ability to integrate makes it a leader in the Marina industry.

Pros

I have used many Marina Management Systems in my life and Molo is one of the easiest to pickup and run with. Very user friendly, easy to navigate and the UI is very modern looking and helps new & experience users really capture the productivity and efficiency of running their Marina. Most marina's do not have a mass e-mail statement and have to do it by hand. Not to mention the ability to run autopay for cards and ACH transactions is such a huge time saver. Super easy account creation, and having the ability to text and communicate to your customer is ahead of the game. An added bonus is the integrations such as SpeedyDock & Snag-A-Slip. Definitely bringing it all together in one package.

Cons

There really isn't anything I can think of. Molo encapsulates all the right things to run a business.

There are still some learning curves after being with our previous software for so many years but there are more features being added regularly and overall, it has simplified our operations, and we are very pleased with it.

Pros

I love having everything in one place, easily accessible, and it's very intuitive for new users.

Cons

It would be nice to have more customization access that did not require the company to perform things, such as category/subcategory management and more filters in reporting.

We have received the best support while switching to Molo. I love the amount of information we can store for our customers. Implementing the changes took a lot longer than expected. I am sure this is in part because we were using Quickbooks Desktop while Molo only integrates with Quickbooks Online. While I am disappointed in the app, I am very happy with the program as a whole and the service I have received from Molo.

Pros

Molo provides amazing support for their customers. The program is very versatile. We were able to set up most of the program in a way that works for our company.

Cons

We were very excited about the app but two of the main components that we need are not available on the app. The map and the calendar are very important to a boat hauling and storage business. Those features are not available on the app. The Calendar isn't mobile friendly. Your entries aren't visible at all in landscape mode (if you turn your phone sideways). The map

### "Can't Imagine Doing Business Without Molo"

This software has been a game changer! Before, our billing process was complicated and clunky because regular accounting software and work order management systems are not set up to manage vessels. We also love the time tracking features in the mobile app. This has greatly increased our billable hours and ensures that payroll every week is a breeze. I honestly can't imagine doing business without it now!

Pros

I love the work order system. The option to view and sort work orders on a Kanban board has really improved our ability to close out jobs in a timely manner. I also love the smart search features and the way that contacts and vessels are linked. The best part about Molo is the exceptional customer service. Their support team is very responsive and works with you to solve any problems that arise.

Cons

The cost has a little sticker shock. It's a lot of money for a small business. However, the amount of administrative time it saves and the amount of revenue it captures that might otherwise be lost makes it worth it for us.

The customer service is terrible. They never respond in a timely fashion, and when they do They ask us if we googled it or watched a video on how to do it. As if they’re put out to help us resolve the problem I’ve reached out to management about our concerns and issues and I’ve got no response. Several of the services we are supposed to have they say aren’t complete yet or they’re still working on it and aren’t actually available.

Pros

The service module is pretty good.

Cons

It took three months to onboard, and we were told that we wouldn’t be charged for the on boarding. It would only be charged when it went live. Well, that was a lie. They charge us from the moment we started talking about on boarding our business.

Our experience with Molo is terrific. We have more useful information available than before and it is more accurate and available faster and with much less effort. Molo is a key tool in helping us run our business more efficiently and effectively. It also helps us serve our customers better.

Pros

Molo is very easy to implement and is very easy to use. Given how easy it is, it is also surprising how well integrated everything is as well. We started using it virtually right away and it made a significant impact on our business, including have more information available in amore timely manner and with much less effort.

Cons

There is a lot of integration so it is important to understand how that all works since doing one thing impacts many areas. It is essential to understand that fully.

We picked Molo because it was cost effective, fully integrated, had strong features in terms of capability and reporting, and the support team were very attentive and interested in how they and Molo could help our business.

We took over an older marina with no management system in place (think pencil and paper). We need to quickly get something that could manage our service department order writing and parts inventory. Molo got us up and running in no time with a highly customized solution to meet our needs. The support has been tremendous every time we've had a question or needed help.

Pros

It is easy and intuitive to use. The support team is great. They respond immediately to any questions or suggestions and took time to make sure we knew how to use it. It is highly customizable, meaning that we could use or not use any of the features based on what was needed for our business, so we weren't locked in to paying for features we didn't need. And if there isn't a feature we need available, the founders are always willing to see if it makes sense to add it. Looking forward to seeing how positively this has impacted our business a year from now. Fast setup, affordable pricing, responsive team = a win!

Our onboarding specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\], has been a joy to work with. She has had timely and insightful responses, and assisted us in any way we’ve needed throughout the process. If there was ever a delay in a step, it was on our end and \[sensitive content hidden\] worked around any problems gracefully. Beyond professionalism, she is also personable and kind and that made the process so much better.

Pros

The ability to see all our slips in an intuitive and user-friendly way. The software will also standardize our reservation process to provide more consistency and better data validity. The map feature is great for at-a-glance availability.

Cons

I would improve upon the bulk emailing feature to include rich text and tokens to insert custom data from customer accounts (similar to mail merge for items like boat registration number, Hull ID, etc).

Pros

So far, I liked most, the customer service. Anytime we needed help \[sensitive content hidden\] was very thorough and prompt in resolving our issues, or delegating it to someone who could resolve it.

Cons

Mostly do not like having to wait sometimes up to 5 days for our customer payments to reach our account. No other system we have used takes that long!

Here’s a quick overview of our current process: once a payment is received, we send batches to our payment processor the next day. While we do our best to send the payout immediately, the funds may take anywhere from 4-24 hours to become available, depending on the payout time. After that, you can generally expect a 1-2 business day turnaround for the funds to reach your bank account. Please also keep in mind that holidays can impact timelines. For example, if a payment is made on a Wednesday evening before a long weekend, with a Monday holiday, it may not be available until the following Tuesday. We completely understand that waiting can be frustrating, and we're always working to improve the process and speed it up where we can. As we make updates, we’ll be sure to keep everyone informed. Overall, Molo is an incredible platform to help streamline operations from the inventory management module to numerous operational reporting on storage. Additionally, the customer profile, specifically the financial records, are extremely easy to follow and understand. With customer features like payments online and viewing detailed statements, this platform is a wonderful way to manage marinas.

Pros

Molo is incredibly easy to use and train users on. The navigation makes it incredibly difficult to feel "lost" or stuck in any one screen.

Cons

While Molo is incredibly easy to use, there are certain features held by Molo team members that marina operators may not know are options without specifically asking for them. That being said, the Molo team is incredibly easy to work with and happy to accommodate any operational needs they can.

I have had overall a great experience using Molo. Molo has been reliable with keeping up with any updates we have requested for better day to day accounting and record keeping. The customer support staff has always been very friendly and extremely helpful with helping troubleshoot any internal issues we might face. When I send in ticket for help it is responded to in a very timely manner.

Pros

I really like that it's easy to use and stores all the things I need for a customer. I like that I can look up someone by different options, not just their name. I like that I can easily create a customer's account where I can go back and reference past work orders, vessel information and customer notes. I like that I can pull reports for customers whose accounts are past due. When it's the first of the month I like that I can send bulk emailed statements, and bulk print.

Cons

I least like the number of steps it takes to create a reservation with molo and the glitches that happen if you make a mistake during the process. If there was a way to shorten the steps it would save a lot of time on our end with reservation.

Molo is very user friendly and simple to use! Our customers also love how simple Molo makes it for them to pay online. In addition to being the best tool to operate marinas, the team at Molo is phenomenal to work with!

Pros

Its simple interface makes it adaptable to all users, regardless of their computer skills. I also love that Molo is constantly evolving with new features and functions, based on recommendations from real operators.

Cons

Some of the reporting and various screens within Molo are slow to load. I dislike the micro deposit verification process for saving customer bank accounts.
