It is also easier for leaders to individually recognize their employees with extra vacation days or points. All those shout outs are in one convenient place on the website, so I do not have to search through Team's messaging threads to see a them. My work place uses the tool to advertise their programs to employees and I love when I am having a hard day, reading my peers uplifting comments. Pros I mostly use the points to send funny memes or animated GIFs to people who are concerned that I am ignoring their messages. I find it nice that the points can be redeemed for actual items as well as a digital "high-five", which is how I thought it would work. Honestly, I was impressed with the size of the reward options available. Cons Logging in every time I open the app (even though I selected "remember me") is frustrating and has caused me to arrive late to our daily "stand-up". There seems to be an issue with the @search function as well because I have to enter nearly the entire first name of John in Accounting before the system recognizes his name. Review Source MA Max A. I like how it can be set up to support a company's values. Pros When the Employer supports this recognition in a way that translate to a monetary reward, that can be converted into gift cards or Amazon points, total makes it worth the value for the money the employees can use. On top of that, the recognition can be made public to the company. While some people are not about the recognition, it is still nice when someone notices success and shares the value of that team member. Cons Personally, the only cons I see is how an employer would set the system up. Company branded apparel can be a little overpriced. For my company, the monetary rewards are taxed so that is a bit of con, but who doesn't want to make a little more money for doing what you normally do. I loved working with them! Pros They come across with tons of positivity and excitement making the rewards experience very uplifting and like you've done something significant to be recognized for. They handled my concerns very quickly and took the time to verify once I'd received the item that I was satisfied and really got what I wanted. Cons It would have really helped my concern if when I made my selection it was clear as to the specifics of my choice. Like I wanted to make sure the item was black but there was no way to confirm that from their confirmation of the selection. The picture was gray and I certainly didn't want that color. February 18, 2025 5.0 Once I figured out that I could purchase just about any item sold by Amazon through Awardco, and was not limited to only the 'suggested' items that show up in the platform, I got excited to begin saving points for items on my Amazon wish list. I was able to redeem points for the latest Fitbit fitness tracker. I'd probably still be waiting to own it if I hadn't been able to use Awardco points. Pros It's helpful that we can use Awardco points towards Amazon purchases. It appears the entire realm of Amazon items are available for purchase with my Awardco points. I was able to save and redeem enough points to get the latest Fitbit fitness tracker I've been wanting. Also, the 'cost' of the Amazon item in Awardco points seems to be less than the dollar amount. I was able to redeem a $30 book I'd been waiting to find a sale on for 15 Awardco points! Cons Initially, I didn't realize I could use Awardco points towards items outside of what is listed in the categories for Amazon on our Awardco platform. My only suggestion would be to include this somewhere on the platform. Pros It's a great tool for all employees and builds morale in the workplace. I love receiving the notes from my colleagues as much as I love to engage and share how a colleague helped assist in any way and how thankful I am for them - it's a great platform that all employers should encourage to have in their company, truly builds you up in your everyday work life. Cons I wish we were able to receive more points to get more swag. Very easy to use the website and very easy ton navigate through. I think that awarding employees for their work is a great way to keep employees focused on the company mission. Pros I like how user friendly the system is. It is very easy to award a fellow employee and nominate them, as well as very easy to search in the rewards section. It is broken out very well. Cons Honestly, I do not have any significant issues with AwardCo. The only thing that I would say I like the least is that some of the prices on AwardCo are more expensive that the price for the item if i searched it not through AwardCo.
