It is very easy to use; I find it to be a very user-friendly tool for my agency, which is currently in a growth phase.

Pros

Billing and Scheduling is a very easy-to-use application that allows you to create schedules and send invoices without any problems.

Cons

In fact, so far I haven't found anything I dislike; the application is very easy to use, and the support team is prompt in resolving problems.

Transitioning from completely different system into HH exchange is actually very. Simple.And I like the fact that they have a support chat that is available twenty 47

Pros

Ì like that I can go in the visits and twek the POC when caregivers are over Exaggerating the duties that they perform.

Cons

I don't like the fact that I can't confirm if there's a signature from the patient in the caregiver unless I run a visit patient signature timesheet report that is very frustrating

Pros

I like that it is pretty user-friendly. I was shown the basics of HHAeXchange. but I was able to figure everything else on my own.

Cons

Our account with HHAeXchange is linked to InMyTeam, and at times, the shift will not populate in HHAeXchange even though it's been bileld in InMyTeam.

If this software was being run by people who actually care about customer service and feedback, I would say it has great potential. As things stand, I know very few people who actually feel good about having HAH Exch (Managed Care plans require the use of this system in New Jersey. Otherwise I would have dropped them. I know many others in the same situation.

Pros

The system is set up in a very intuitive way, and everything makes sense from teh standpoint of a coordinator and administrator, if only it actually worked most of the time.

Cons

There is no customer service to speak of. You are required to send an email to get a ticket generated. You are lucky if they respond within a week, and often with something compeletely unrelated to what you inquired about.

The greatest benefit to this system is the ease of use for our Aides.

Pros

The ease of use for our Aides is phenomenal! We transitioned them to HHA from a far more complicated system of charting. Transferring and training them to this system was very easy. One training session and they were able to effectively use it. It is so easy now for them to clock in and out, AND to complete their charting!

Cons

It is not the best system for Skilled Nursing. The system does not contain a MAR. So documentation of all medications would have to be done on paper, which is old school and redundant. We would have used this software for skilled nursing IF this feature was there.

Pros

I like the integration with the MCOs and the ease of contacting them through the system.

Cons

Many bugs, whether it has to do with overnight clock in issues, alternate shift issues, report issues, no matter what your issue, if you call customer support, you will get a ticket number and that will be the end of it. Never has a system issue been resolved, so I have stopped calling.

### "A necessary evil"

We use it because we have to, since the MCOs adopted the payer version. Because of our size, we hoped to gain efficiencies. However, this has not been the case as we've added costly add-ons and work arounds for caregiver onboarding, caregiver messaging, reporting and data analytics.

Pros

Because the MCOs in Pennsylvania adopted it, we went with HHAeXchange.

Cons

Constantly having back out of screens or open multiple tabs in order to manage work flow. Reporting is subpar. We have to overlay costly analytics tools and software just to get the data we need out of the system to be formatted in a way that informs us of how our business is doing. The front end with onboarding employees is not effective causing us to pay for another solution as a work around. The messaging / caregiver chat feature is subpar and constantly times out. You cannot manage workflows in the system.

My billing if horrible using this product and I'm at the point to hiring an attorney because it is having a negative affect on this agency.

Pros

At this point I don't have anything to say.

Cons

Customer support is terrible and has fixed my billing issue. They have been working on the issue for a year. HHA Exchange is not meeting the EVV requirements for the state of North Carolina, at least for this agency.

It has been good. We had some setbacks due to Insurance and HHA not connecting right away. It was corrected.

Pros

Everything is in one program. This is helpful with patient care and billing.

Cons

I would like to see the insurances already pre loaded in to the program.

Overall, HHAexchange is great investment for my company. It has cut down in billing time and errors, easier to schedule workers, quick access to clients information including authorized hours and demographics. Accountability and accuracy in evv by clocking on patients phone. Everything is in one program making it easier to access and manage.

Pros

Easy on boarding, easy to learn, available support,Ticket turnaround is quick.

Cons

As time has gone by HHAexchange has grown leaps and bounds. It’s taking longer to work in tickets and complete tasks. The company needs support staff.

We have been benefiting from HHAeXchange for over 2 years and wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Pros

Data accuracy, ease of use, easily accessible to everyone with minimal orientation and training, the demo videos for practicality in regards to every single function of the software.

Cons

There are some outages that happen from time to time but the HHA agents are very prompt with finding solutions to the issues and fixing them in a prompt fashion.

It is easy to navigate overall. The one thing I like the most now is that I can see the 'daily' Schedule.

Cons

That when you change the master week it does not allow you to what is already there. Kantime had a way to change those visits. Look into this...

We are using HHA since 2019 for EVV Compliance and scheduling, and so far it's the best software.

Pros

The ease I can use it in everyday Agency operations. It's easy to get used to it and teach your employees to use it. The scheduling system and billing system are the best. Billing is done fast and if there's a problem, you can run a report to catch it.

Cons

Sometimes it's hard for the caregiver to download the app and it's hard for us to give out the mistake right away.

### "Customer service fails"

Incredibly frustrating. I would never choose to integrate with this company except that our MCO has chosen to. Some times the frustration of HHA-Exchange makes us re-think the relationship with this MCO entirely. But in the end we like them very much. In fact it is this MCO that helped us get tickets with HHA-Exchange reviewed. Otherwise they would sit there unresolved for 2 months.

Pros

Our MCO uses HHAExchange for EVV integration. We did not choose.

Cons

Customer service. Really its just self service. You open tickets, and often they get sent to a JIRA system - of more ticket numbers, and partially, if not wholly, worked offshore. Ticket response is SLOW and often incorrect. Agents do not read the entire ticket to understand the issue. Its truly a nightmare.

### "HHA in Minnesota does not work well"

Really don't like it. It is not set up for Minnesota.

Pros

I can't say I'd recommend this software. Many Minnesota providers are switching form HHA to Pavilion.

Cons

The worst thing is that it is unreliable. We have patients and staff threatening to leave because some of the shifts worked don't show up so they are not paid, they can't see what they have worked for the pay period so they can't plan with the limited number of units. Minnesota does not schedule - it's based upon participant choice and patients, staff and responsible parties need to see hours worked for the pay period. Billing is unreliable, randomly it doesn't bill and it VERY labor intense to find the issues....

\- we chose HHA because the State was going with it. I wish we would have looked at the other products, now we are using it, so I wish it would work for us becuase it will be labor intensive to swith.

I am not impressed.

Pros

When compared to the program we used prior I really can not think of anything I like about HHA

Cons

Shift reminders to caregivers the night prior. Alert to admin if a caregiver has not clocked in within 15 minutes of start of shift. Ability to edit insurance POC so the POC can be based on most up-to-date information. Ability for the caregivers to see their schedule for entire month. Ability for applicants to apply directly to our agency online.

I have had wonderful experiences with their EDI team and with their tech support people. I had gotten to know a few of them on a first name basis during our implementation and they were wonderful to work with, they took the time to try to make me get it lol. They went above and beyond to assist us and it was greatly appreciated!!!!

Pros

We only use this for our waiver clients as it is required for billing the CHC Program in PA. I like that all the info is in one place and easy to access.

Cons

Nothing with the software itself was an issue for me.

Over all it's better than other software I have used, but there is still room for improvement.

Cons

Too many technical glitches. Support Center takes way too long to answer. You can be on hold for over 45mins sometimes.

I have a great overall experience with HHA the people are who we are in contact with are very nice and cordial and professional

Product is easy to use love the billing components , payroll, all and all its very easy to use and really don't have any complaints

Cons

At this time there are no problems using the system. However I do wish we would have access to edit things for the clients info like phone #'s or address changes when making notes in the system to update its not always done

### "Horrible customer service"

Overall as long as you do not need to interact with a human the software will work. The moment you need their assistance you are on your own. Their customer service number is nowhere to be found on their site. The chat is bot based and a real person is almost impossible to get. The average wight time I have experienced is always in excess of two hours.

Pros

The software is well made and easy to work with from an administration point of view.

Cons

Customer service is none existent. I have been on the line for over 3 hrs and also waiting on the chat for a representative for the same amount of time. If you need them to reset an employees account or do something on their end it could take days.

I did not chose the program. It was imposed on us by the providers we work with as the evv solution.
