Ease of use, flexibility, good layout, can get what I need fast

Pros

The software is very reliable and always seems to be on the cutting edge of the industry. It is very easy to use and navigate. The layout is very simple to use as well.

Cons

The software could use some more bells and whistles (Reports for interrupted sleep for instance). The help desk needs to be more on top of things. I submit a ticket and if I don't follow up on it, I don't get a response. Calling the help desk as well is time consuming and I don't receive an answer immediately. Also, there are always additional charges for any fix we need - not all fixes deserve a charge. There is no room for negotiation on the charges as well.

It was a very bad experience at first with the Aggregator for PA to Sandata and we don't have good experience with getting any of our emails to customer service answered or fixed. It takes months to get a response after sending multiple follow up messages. When the system works, it is great and helps with all of our needs

Pros

The scheduling, the mobile app, and the billing/payments

Cons

The customer service and communication - it takes forever to receive an answer and my experience with the chat feature wasn't a positive experience

Extremely horrific. It has been an utter nightmare. Imagine spending hours per day fixing glitches HHAeXchange creates. Imagine asking for their support staff to fix those problems just to get a response stating that they are closing the ticket. I honestly can not imagine a worse EMR.

Pros

Nothing! Literally every single aspect is horrific. I am forced to use it as Texas only allows HHAeXchange to collect EVV data. I would leave in a heartbeat if allowed to do so. It is free for us to use and I would rather pay thousands a month to get away from it....that is how bad it is.

Cons

It is incredibly glitchy and extremely slow. It takes 30 seconds or more to open notes. It appears to be old technology especially when compared to KanTime and CubHub.

We had no choice, Texas made us use HHAeXchange to collect EVV data. We still use KanTime as our main EMR (which is awesome) since HHAeXchange is so bad at least I am grateful to do most tasks in KanTime.

Frustrating, and problematic. If all the software products talked to each other without so much manual entry into the system, that would be one thing, but they do not, I am proof, because we didn't bet paid for over 4 months the beginning of January 2021, and then again at the end of 2021 for 2 months again, and again now for 2 weeks trying to be compliant with the clock in and out and not having to manually verify in HHA, which is what they do not want you to do!

Pros

Well, actually nothing I 'liked', it's how it operates, so you adapt. It's not as easy as you think, and there are so many levels of things that have to be just right before things happen in HHA and some things aren't right even now after 2 years of using this platform. Plus, instead of just having Promise to look at and bill through, now we have to utilize 3 software programs to do this and most times they do not communicate with each other which causes problems in getting paid and other things, just like the clock in and out, that aren't coming from my clearcare to HHA and we've been working on this for over 2 weeks now, and still nothing is happening as it was designed.

Cons

Military time, getting used to that has cost me money, big time.

It seemed the least prohibitive, which proved to be an error, because we have had nothing but problems with either HHA or Clearcare not talking to each other, and we were warned in the beginning that there were bugs between the clearcare and HHA and they have not been fixed apparently because we are having so many problems doing what is required!

It really needs special attention so it doesn't seem like a Dollar store App! You can enter visits but it doesn't confirm most times so you are stuff double billing, Nothing for Nurses so we have to pay for other apps. It's slow as well, always having issues. GPS doesn't work well, nothing useful to make me switch to you all.

Overall experience is good. Someone needs to explain to support that if an agency has billing problems, then this ticket takes priority and needs to be addressed or escalated. A lackadaisical approach does not work in this case, since it is revenue and that runs the agencies business and pays the HHAeXchange bill....and their salary.

Pros

For the most part the application works well and satisfies the basic needs to operate an agency to conform to the EVV requirements mandated by the State.

Cons

Falls short for in-depth reporting and accounts receivables and payment posting, billing and reporting and reliable integration with other vendors.

Very hard to deal with customer support, delays in solving issues causes claim denials and lost money on the billing

Pros

Easy to use and self-explanatory software.

Cons

Customer service is very bad. Takes hours on hold to talk to support, weeks to months to have your problem fixed. Some of the issues are still in the work for almost a year

There was no alternative at the time plus we were pushed to use it by insurances.

Live management of the patient care process.

Pros

It's ease of flow to all aspects of the business, from hiring an individual, checking exclusions to admission of a new client to scheduling and providing service to that client.

Cons

Integration was difficult as the training was quick but the HHA Associates truly care about you as a customer and understands the importance of each aspect of your business and how it interacts with HHA.

Customer service always gets an answer. It may not be the one anyone wants to hear but we have a resolution.

Pros

Day to day processes are easier with HHAeXchange. Training can be a little difficult to learn the system and all functionality but over all very easy to use.

Cons

Learning any system can be difficult as HHA is still developing the product on a day to day basis there are still a lot of hiccups that could be worked on in the future.

I enjoy using the reports and entering in important features in the systems. I am able to keep track of my DCWs for clocking in/out and an update on my consumers.

Cons

Sometimes the systems will go really slow or timeout in the middle of doing something extremely important. Sometimes, we can be out of use for a couple of hours which isn't good for our type of business.

The ability to reduce the amount of time preparing and submitting claims

Cons

The interfaces with the other vendors/payors is not the best. Submitting batch claims have been problematic with no ability to get timely responses from support. This affects revenue and payroll if claims are delayed for any reason.

It has a nice way of extracting report and customize them depending on the need.

EVV is the worst specially with people clocking in/out. It freeze alot and sometimes it take them 10min to be able to access their accounts.

Used it to check against timesheets. Make sure staff was clocking in and out.

Cons

That you always had to link calls. And when you linked them they stayed on the dashboard. With ClearCare everything was much easier. You could color code shifts. For every step you had to save or it would disappear.
