### "eMentor Connect Great Mentoring Tour"

eMentor Connect helps us manage our Mentoring Program by organizing our content and communication to the participants. This has allowed us to grow our program which will also help us grow future leaders.

Pros

eMentor Connect has been great to work with our IT Department for integration with our systems. We use Okta Security Software and we were able to add that as part of our sign-on process.

Cons

There have not been any issues with the software and it is easy to use.

Reason for choosing Chronus

Our company decided to use eMentor Connect to organize and enhance our Mentoring Program. We were looking for a software program that could do anonymous matching, store our Mentoring Content and encourage/improve the Mentoring and Mentee interaction. We also needed a program that tracked the utilization of the program as well as be able to survey our participants. eMentor Connect did all of these things.

Pros

The total package of the mentorship software and the great customer support from Chronus.

Cons

As a global administrator, I often feel as if I have to run everything past Chronus to implement even minor changes. I understand this has a lot to do with making sure that the service functions properly across all programs, but being a middleman between local admins can feel frustrating for seemingly quick changes.

Overall experience - in a word - Exceptional. Working with Chronus team \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is like working with my own RSS Team. They have been so supportive, creative, flexible, available, and always ready willing to listen and take whatever action necessary. Open to new ideas and suggestions. I do believe our relationship will endure for many years.

Software is very intuitive. As the Administrator I was delighted (and relieved) to see all the tools are in place - I only needed to customize them to be relevant to our end-users/industry. The editing tools are very easy to use - no IT experience necessary. To quote one of my beta testers, "Chronus thought of everything!" Also, the downloadable App is wonderful and we found no issues - very efficient option,

Cons

It can be somewhat overwhelming - all the resources available (which is a good thing) can be somewhat daunting for the end-user. A Cheat Sheet providing the minimum "how to" would be ideal along with a quick 5-10 minute video for those who won't read all the helpful resources.

Meeting \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. I researched Chronus and was very impressed but I believe it's the people that make the difference between "good enough" and "the best". I only work with the best people.

### "Intuitive and Engaging Mentoring Solution "

Very positive.

Pros

We had a relatively seamless configuration and deployment with Chronus. Our UAT results were very strong with high user-friendliness and intuitiveness. We are at the early days of our deployment and getting good traction.

Cons

Admin work was quite heavy during the configuration as we've changed significant amount of wording and flow to fit our needs and culture. I thought that the admin work could have been easier with more support and clarity from the Chronus team.

I really like it from an administrative standpoint (matching and running reports). Very easy to manage and the system functions as expected.

Cons

We struggle to get users to interact with the software on a regular basis. Many users choose to schedule meetings and communicate with their mentor/mentee outside of the system

Pros

Chronus is easy to use and has the best support team! If I ever have an issue (even if that is issue is my own user-error), the Chronus team is always friendly and quick to help. And even better, they actually LISTEN to user feedback and work with you to make each Chronus platform specific for the needs of your group. I truly love working with the Chronus team!

Cons

I truly had to sit for a few minutes to think about this because I really don't have anything negative to say about Chronus. Thus, I'm instead going to include a wishlist item (that I just thought about). I wish the Chronus software had a video/audio chat component (like Skype or Facetime). Many of our users prefer to communicate in person, but they have to take this style of communication out of the Chronus platform. If Chronus had an audio/visual communication component, they could maintain (and track) more communication from within the platform.

For our clients seeking a platform, we were very selective in choosing a partner and referring our clients and have not been disappointed.

Pros

What was most helpful was the unbiased "matching" of sponsors with their protégés. Also, it is very helpful to utilize the tracking of the "matches," their goals and the automated surveys.

Cons

As I am not an IT guru, there is a heavy lift on getting the software up and running, but the team at Chronus was always ready to assist our IT team to ensure a successful global roll out.

### "Circles Functionality Review"

Customer service, implementation, and customer success manager POC's were top notch. My overall experience with the circle functionality itself is just that it doesn't have a lot of functions that encourage participating.

Pros

I really like the idea behind the circles functionality, it is a standalone place that offers alike-minded group of people to come together for discussions

Cons

It feels as though it's just another slack channel, or Facebook page. You have discussion boards, but there isn't a lot of other stuff behind that one piece of functionality that encourages others to continue to be active on the site.

We worked with eMentorConnect to take our new hire onboarding program to the next level. The eMentorConnect tool has greatly simplified the administration and oversight of our program, while allowing us to track and report user progress every step of the way. We now have all of our new hires' scheduled assignments, resources and contacts in one place, easily accessible to both them and their onboarding coaches. They also interact in the platform, sharing notes, meeting agendas and evaluations. The eMentor team was incredibly collaborative in working with us to configure their software to meet our objectives, and delivered even more than we expected!

Although the software is fairly easy to use, we have run into snags this year with our pilot (due to COVID-19), so \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been there to help us create surveys and additional connection plans that work best with our users.

The software is slightly confusing to use upon setup, but Chronus will provide appropriate support.

We have partnered with eMentorConnect for many years to provide mentoring programs across our leadership development programs, from individual contributors through Director and, to include Field Sales Training and New product launches. The platform has an excellent Client Success Team that leads implementation and ensures successful programs. They provide resources and quickly address our questions. The platform is very user friendly, provides data analytics that are impactful and useful and makes it easy to upload information and to share information. The features they add and update keep the platform engaging and drive high utilization metrics.

The eMentor team was incredibly collaborative in helping us design and implement the platform as an integral part of our program. It motivated our members to stay engaged in between meetings through customized content, which not only reinforced our leadership topics, but also offered an incredibly easy way for members to stay connected and support each other in their day-to-day. The eMentorConnect team also brings a wealth of mentoring and leadership knowledge. We were able to call upon them to conduct live and virtual sessions to launch the program with both our Mentors and Mentees which has resulted in high engagement for our participants. We also integrated circle mentoring to augment the one on one relationships that delivered high impact on pull through for key leadership competencies. Without hesitation, I highly recommend eMentorConnect.

Cons

Users can struggle to remember how to access software. Need to provide on-going user training and eMentor Connect delivers upon this need to ensure task completion.

Chronus has been phenomenal through the entire process of securing the agreement to launching our programs. Staff is professional, friendly, and always available to answer questions.

Pros

The Chronus software is fantastic. It is intuitive and keeps the entire mentoring relationship in one central location making it so easy for administrators to stay abreast on the status of relationships and respond to inquiries.

Cons

I don't know that I would label this a con, but rather a preference for the ability to set-up programs with specific start and end dates verses the number of weeks or days. Also, many of the auto emails are set to send based on the number of weeks/days since the mentoring connection was made and, again, it would be nice if these communications could be scheduled for a specific date so that everyone in the program receives communications on the same day.

The platform allows us to match a different variety of Mentors to Mentees over many different regions easily and quickly. They have a great technology platform combined with super customer orientation.

Pros

Huge capacity to scale to 1000's of people. Lots of control on the types of Mentoring Partnerships you can set up. Visibility into how partnerships are progressing over time. Ability to measure almost anything as the partnerships mature. Numerous options to customize the front facing screens to our internal customers.

Cons

Patchy alignment to our internal Corporate Outlook in terms of scheduling mentoring sessions. Can have a high learning curve to set up - but their customer servicing is very responsive.

We partnered with eMentorConnect for a mentoring program designed to increase the organizational networks of colleagues whose product was going generic. The eMentorconnect team was incredibly collaborative in helping us design and implement the platform to ensure high participation in this fully volunteer program. Participants signed up to participate ahead of time and eMentorConnect took them through seamless and impactful webinars to educate around the platform, roles and responsibilities and expectations. The cloud based platform was flexible to our needs and scalable to the numbers of participants as they grew. Ongoing communication emails and texts were an integral part of our program and were highly motivating to participants to stay engaged in between meetings. The eMentorConnect team also brings a wealth of mentoring and leadership knowledge. We were able to call upon them to conduct live and virtual sessions to launch the program with both our Mentors and Mentees which resulted in high engagement for our participants and most importantly life changing mentoring interactions to meet the program objectives of advancing one's careers within the organization. In particular, our diversity colleagues over indexed in their survey response rates and positive feedback by 6-10%. Mentoring is a critical component to career development and eMentorConnect can help you accelerate and manage your talent and their careers.

I joined the program leadership later on, but so far it's really been a smooth experience and our practice area is definitely on track to expand the offering to more folks.

Pros

Pretty easy to customize, communicate with participants, see data at a glance, and, of course, pair mentees with mentors. Chronus team is responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and patient with questions.

Cons

Support site is a little clunky and I've struggled to find what I'm looking for at times in the keyword search.
