I’ve tested a few platforms before, but SkuVault Core has truly stood out — not just in features, but in how much smoother it’s made my day-to-day operations. Pros •One of the most important features for me. I used to deal with overselling or listing items that were out of stock, but now SkuVault keeps my inventory synced perfectly across my Shopify and Amazon stores. Also, this has reduced picking errors big time. I just scan items and the system tells me if it’s right or wrong. It makes the process faster and kind of fun, honestly. I didn’t expect to use the analytics part much, but the reorder reports have helped me avoid stockouts and plan ahead with confidence. I was nervous about setup, but connecting to ShipStation, Amazon, and Shopify was actually very smooth. They also support many other platforms I’m considering using in the future. Once you're past the learning curve, daily use is intuitive. I love being able to track my orders, inventory, and warehouse processes from one dashboard. Cons Let me tell you about the other side of this platform. The dashboard felt overwhelming in the beginning. I had to spend a couple of hours watching tutorials and reading guides before things started making sense. Besides this, while the support team is polite and helpful, I sometimes had to wait longer than expected for responses when I had specific questions during setup. September 15, 2025 1.0 Pros The idea of being able to work in both a portal as well as export to spreadsheets. Then be able to import the spreadsheets into the portal with updates. Cons The portal was very dated. Support was lacking. Nickle and dimed me when I was ready to cancel. It has allowed us to ship a lot of orders and decrease our error rate dramatically. Pros I like that Skuvault Core allows me to control multiple warehouses, all with different layouts, in one platform. Cons I dont like the way that Skuvault Core handles kits, and bundles. I can preassemble bundles to make Quality control easier, but if I sell more bundles than I have kitted it changes how things scan and makes it difficult to keep the pick pack line moving. The trainings that led up to launch were pretty helpful. They were very helpful and understanding when a few speed bumps appeared on our end needing our completion date to be postponed. We are still working on understanding some of the features to see if they can further benefit our operation but we’ve really been able to create a super custom process that works for our type of business and I’m eternally grateful for that! Pros I really love the clean and modern look of the portal. It doesn’t have old school hard to read fonts and has so many features - some we haven’t even cracked into yet. My team adapted to the wave pick and quality control processes instantly it seems. With very minimal training on their end and they are not super tech savvy! With only a day of down time and in depth training, we came back in the next day and maintained the exact same order output as before but saved time on the pick process which was way too manual before SKUVault. It allowed us to maintain replenishments easier and other projects without a major strain on our pickers. Cons The terminology throughout the system can be pretty deceiving. There’s some features or processes that sound like they should do one thing but it’s not even close to what it sounds like it should do. For example, “bins” do not mean the containers you use to pick on your pick vehicles/carts - it’s to section off areas inside of locations, which would be more helpful for a Parts department or small item fulfillment but not what we were originally told it would do for our process. I was promised that Skuvault would integrate with our ecomm platform so I spent a few months prepping my data. I didn't want to waste Skuvault's time so I paid for 4 months even though it has not been deployed yet. Skuvault did offer to use those 4 months' worth of money as a way to pay for the contract once we launched.Well, we could never get the integration to work even though I was promised that they worked with my ecomm platform. Once I had exhausted everything I asked to have my money back for at least three months but they refused. Their excuse was terrible. I am sure their platform would have been what I wanted but the way they handled the end left a bad taste. Not sure I would recommend them. Pros Their initial CS was great. I also really liked their kitting functionality which was going to be key for us. Cons They told me that it integrated with my ecomm platform and in the end, it did not. However, I still ended up paying for 4 months of the subscription trying to find a way to make it work. I asked for at least 3 months of a refund and they refused. Terrible experience. Makes the warehouse much more efficient, and significantly reduces shipping errors. Pros Very detailed, can be tailored to many types of businesses and has a large number of integrations so chances are it works with your setup or can be adapted easily. Includes a remote print server so pick lists, labels, etc. can be printed anywhere and at multiple locations - very cool. Cons They advertise support with accounting software, but the accounting side is VERY limited - does not take into consideration discounts, tax, or shipping so this is really useless. We use light speed, but always double check inventory through skuvault to make sure we are right and on track. It has helped our company to stay on track! Cons Sometimes finding an item can be difficult- putting in a location, item and warehouse can take a second and can cause room for error. Used the software for: ### "Cost effectiveness, Functionality & Service" August 27, 2015 5.0 After more than a year with SkuVault, I can honestly say that this is the best and most evolving to fit the customers' needs WMS that I've ever encountered. SkuVault is highly affordable compared to other warehouse management systems. You'd be hard pressed to find another WMS with as many features for the same amount of money. Our last warehouse management system cost 6 figures, and we had to fly someone onsite for more than a week to install it. SkuVault has more features than that system, and you don't have to pay to fly someone out to update it for you... That's the beauty of the cloud. About the cloud, if you're worried about that... We've haven't had any down time the entire time that we've been with SkuVault. SkuVault's WMS is feature packed, and we love the user accountability. Any time that we've had an issue with the way that something worked, SkuVault has changed it for us. The suggested feature section of their website is something that they watch like a hawk, and they are very receptive to customer suggestions... They've made at least 5 changes to the software that we've asked for within that year and a half that we've been with them. What other software company does that? SkuVault has been great for us. Anytime that there's an issue, they are there to help... Immediately. I can't say enough good things about their customer service. I've talked to many people over there, and they've always bent over backwards to help us out. SkuVault is awsome!
