We are a multi-unit restaurant business. I'm a remote business owner/CFO that can see exactly what is happening on a daily basis from anywhere I am.

Pros

Ease of use, it's integration with our POS/other systems and the fact it has excellent financial control's.

Cons

Nothing - it serves and has served our needs for years

It's very helpful in staying consistent with our inventory at each location. It allows us to streamline our process.

Cons

The implementation period was challenging. Not sure of the customer support. Seemed to be all on us to figure it out.

Cons

At an organizational level, this was really difficult. Does not support large organizations super well. Difficult to support multiple entities at once.

Pros

Restaurant365 has revolutionized restaurant accounting. It has made it easier for us to keep track of our finances and see more readily exactly how our stores are doing.

Cons

It was a bit clunky at first, but the friendly and helpful CS agents have helped us every step of the way.

Easily enter shift notes on the go.

Pros

Easily enter in notes for the day. Quickly see sales and labor goals. Manage schedules from your smart phone.

Cons

Notes entered are not formatted correctly once submitted. (I.e. When making lists in notes, each item is next to each other instead of on separate lines after submitting).

Pros

Up to date information on companies and agencies; plus they send me alerts on new employees. Media Radar team is on point and always helpful. The software is easy to use and companies are easy to research.

Cons

Doesn't give B2B info for many companies; also doesn't give Diversity or Human Resource contacts which is necessary for my business

We hired them, and they make you do your own database work! For a multi-concept, menu restaurant group, this costed us MANY man hours. We needed a custom spread sheet export for our payroll company, and they would not bend, think outside the box or try to help in any way! We are now trying to get out of the contract we signed, because we are so upset with this process. It's been a headache the entire way.

Pros

There is nothing to like. We are not happy.

Cons

Customer service is horrible. No communication kills.

Pros

Has good integrations with other F&B Tech

Cons

No ERP which is really a bummer. Takes a longer than needed to update reports. With ERP, reports would auto-update.

Pros

Restaurant 365 is user friendly and easy to navigate. Customizable columns in AP transaction screen.

Cons

Can be a little glitchy sometimes. We are unable to upload multiple commissary orders at once. Sometimes slow to download larger reports. I used to be able to upload a file to an approved invoice but now I have to unapprove the invoice before uploading.

Predeterminate Reports are great, easy acces to information, inventory entry from your phone, easy to change data as ap, items info, masive ap invoice upload, masive journal entries upload, easy uploads formats, quick access from one screen to anotherone

Cons

Bank reconciliations. Hard recipe configuration I do not like that vendor can set up aditional info on the electronic invoices

Tech forward, upload features are good, very easy to set up new legal entities and locations. Reporting is good and getting better. Bank reconciliation feature is great when working correctly. Great software for multi-unit companies.

Cons

Software can be glitchy at times but issues tend to get fixed quickly.

It is a powerful accounting toolsuite that is geared just for the restaurant industry. It is module based and you can add on what you need including features like labor and scheduling and franchisor related products.

Cons

Had to pay for an extra reporting tool, Renovo, to get all the reports we needed.

Pros

The different reports and information that you have access to from any device is awesome. Also that you can see how the numbers compare to different time periods

Cons

The cost is a bit high, and every few weeks you have to change the passwords is annoying. Otherwise grear software.

Pros

I can pull receipts for multiple restaurant properties extremely easily. These reports are primarily what I use the software for.

Cons

There are multiple steps to pulling specific receipt that seem like they could be streamlined. Also, you have to log back out and log in to see receipts for different restaurants within the group and can't view them within the same session.

Pros

I like that we can assign the jobs within each account. I like that it is simple and flows very well. There are many functions that we have not utilized yet but plan to, the walk throughs from support have been really great, straightforward, and not difficult to follow. Inputting recipes can take quite a bit of time but worth it in the end.

Cons

We work in a team, so it would be so helpful if they would implement a way to email from the software, letting everyone on the team see emails back and forth to keep up to date. The only thing hindering us from implementing the catering portion amount is the client cannot pay through the software.
