Our overall experience with Booqable has been very positive. We adopted it as our main inventory control system, and it immediately brought structure and stability to our operations. After trying multiple solutions that cost us money and didn’t deliver, Booqable has been a refreshing change. It’s easy to use, reliable, and gives us the visibility we need to plan better for our clients. The value for money is excellent for a business at our stage, and the customer support has been consistently responsive and supportive. We’re already able to track our finances more clearly, and as we grow, we look forward to unlocking more advanced features. Even with the limitations of the Starter plan, the platform feels flexible enough to grow with us. We’re committed for the long haul.

Pros

What I liked most about Booqable is how much value it delivers even at the Starter level. For a young business trying to control costs, it has given us strong inventory management, clear financial tracking, and a stable system we can rely on. The customer support has been exceptional always responsive, considerate, and willing to guide us through anything we didn’t understand. The platform is also very easy to use, which helped us get organized quickly after losing money on two or three other systems that didn’t work out. Even though we’re on the entry plan, the features we do have are solid, and the flexibility to grow into more advanced tools like QR codes and multi‑user access gives us confidence for the future. Overall, the stability, support, and ease of use are the biggest pros for us.

Cons

What we liked least about Booqable is that some of the features we know would improve our operations like QR codes, multi‑user access, and having our website fully hosted on the platform are only available on higher plans. As a small business still getting on its feet, upgrading isn’t yet affordable for us. While the Starter plan works well, it can feel limited once you begin to scale. We haven’t experienced any major bugs or issues, but the feature restrictions sometimes slow down how quickly we can expand our processes. Still, these limitations are more about our current budget than the platform itself.

My overall experience with Booqable has been very positive. I use it for my AV equipment rental business, and it has helped me a lot with organizing rental items, managing reservations, and keeping track of equipment availability. It is a very useful platform for a rental company because it is designed around the rental process, not just regular product sales. For my business, I rent out items like speakers, microphones, projectors, screens, TVs, lighting, and other event equipment. Booqable helps me keep everything more organized and makes it easier to manage bookings and rental details. It has saved me time and helped make my workflow more professional. I also appreciate that Booqable continues to improve and offers useful tools for rental companies. Overall, it has been a strong and valuable system for my business.

Booqable has been very helpful for managing my rental business. Beyond disappointed as it's affecting my bottom line. They want to be an international company, but only in their time zone.

Pros

When it works... to often when experiencing an issue or need help with a how-to issue, support is nowhere to be found.

Cons

NO SUPPORT! I have an equipment rental business and have been down all day with a "You are already signed in " error. I'm not signed in anywhere else and there is no way to end all sessions if one got hung. Unacceptable! I have customers who want to book, and now I'm having to do everything manually. I've tried writing customer support but have gotten 0 responses. They have no support number to call or anything... so I'm screwed. They're based in the Netherlands, so either they are too busy getting high or sleeping. If you run an international company, you MUST provide 24-hour support. I dislike writing negative reviews and can understand technical issues, but you must at least support the time zones in which you're trying to do business. Looking for alternatives... I'm done Booqable.

Pros

It has been such a game changer for my business. It looks so professional on my website and works! The support is fantastic and they continue to improve their features all the time. Without the app I wouldn’t be able to run my business it’s my favourite and most used feature. They continue to improve bugs and had new features. It’s been super easy to implement. Inventory management and reports are great. It’s much cheaper than other options I looked into, it ticks so many boxes I am very happy with Booqable and I would recommend to others.

I would like better options to expand my business to multiple locations without needing to create multiple accounts.

My overall impressions are very good. The tool is constantly being developed, as evidenced by reports of new features. Support is a huge plus.

Pros

What I liked most was that this tool responded to my needs. Implementing it into my company took me a day, perhaps because I don't have many products—about 90. Integrating it with my current website was very easy using a shortcode. A big plus is the support team, which responds very quickly and is helpful. The inventory management is very good and intuitive. I needed the option of product sets, and I have them here.

Cons

I was a bit disappointed with the idea of ​​receiving the full version of the software for a trial period, only to discover that most of the features weren't available in the basic package, but in the higher-end one. This wasn't a problem for me, as I still think it's worth the price. The second thing that caught my eye was the lack of a multilingual option. We can only choose one language to manually translate our customer flows into. This is a drawback, as I have clients who speak three languages.

I used the free trial to explore the software and got that extended to make sure I was really satisfied that it would perform for me. I was able to get a running workable site up with in 3 weeks and start taking bookings. It was very easy to use the inventory management side of the software.

Pros

The Customer service has been outstanding. Their Ai chat bot has talked me through setting up so much and when we reached its limit a human was able to take over.

Cons

There are some industry specific features that I would love to have in booqable. We have found simple work a rounds that have mitigated that problem.

Pros

It is a high-performance tool that is very easy to learn and use. It's a perfect fit for our business (audiovisual equipment rental) and very flexible for customization with our process.

Cons

A very responsive customer service (bug ands issues). Many fearures for the customisation and inventory management. If there are improvements to be made, you can request them and Booqable will create a ticket to implement them based on priorities/number of requests.

What I like most about Booqable is how visual and intuitive it is. It has completely changed the way we manage inventory, availability, and bookings for our event rental business. Seeing availability by date makes it very easy to avoid double bookings, and creating quotes and reservations feels simple and professional. It has helped us stay organized and present a much more polished experience to our clients. Customer support has also been great. Whenever we’ve had questions or needed help, the team has been responsive and clear, which is extremely valuable when you’re running day-to-day operations.

Cons

One thing we would like to see improved is the variety of payment providers. Currently, payments are limited mainly to Stripe and PayPal, and it would be very helpful to have more options that work in other countries, especially for international businesses. Another area for improvement is bundles. We use bundles often, and it would be ideal if bundles could display only the total bundle price, without showing the individual prices of each item included. This would make bundles cleaner and better aligned with how packages are usually sold.

Overall, this is a great tool for creative people like me. It turns boring administrative work into something enjoyable and efficient.

Pros

This program is very easy to work with and I have had very good experiences using it. As an entrepreneur, I want to be able to generate quotes quickly and in a simple way, and this software gives me exactly that possibility. Of course, there are other programs that can do the same, but they are often quite complicated and mainly designed for accountants or administrative staff. Those systems tend to be slow, overly complex, and not very user-friendly for creative entrepreneurs.

Cons

If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the program is not connected to Peppol yet. This integration would be very useful, especially since it is now mandatory in Belgium due to government regulations.

I set up the website for our community lending library using the Website Builder feature and it has been a blessing. We are so happy that we don't need to use Excel files or handwritten notes to manage the inventory and lending process. Everyone who sees our site comments on how simple the process it and it's been received very well in our community.

Pros

I'm very grateful for the super fast and helpful customer assistance via email. The team provides relevant and easy to follow guidelines to answer my questions. I also find the online video tutorials to be extremely efficient, especially since they are referred to within the platform itself. There are links to the videos at various locations so it's very easy to access immediate guides.

Cons

My only complaint so far is that they don't support right-to-left languages so it makes our website less visually appealing to the public. Another issue is that the difference between the plans isn't so obious so it's a little unclear at first which plan is the right one to sign up to.

The online quotes, payment processing, and calendar syncing work well. I like that it automatically blocks out unavailable items. It’s also nice that it can generate contracts and invoices directly. The software is easy to learn and set up. The dashboard is clean, and it doesn’t take long to get comfortable managing bookings and inventory. Integrating it into a website was straightforward once everything was connected.

Pros

Booqable offers great value for small to mid-sized rental businesses. The pricing is fair for the range of tools you get, especially the online booking integration and inventory tracking. It saves a lot of manual work that used to take hours.

Cons

Occasionally the website widget loads slowly, and sometimes the inventory sync lags if you’re editing items on multiple devices. Nothing major, but it can be inconvenient during busy weekends.

Booqable is a great platform for operating a rental business with an online store & inventory management. Customers have found the online store and checkout system intuitive and easy to use and the simple design looks great online. I would recommend Booqable to others.

Pros

Booqable is a great platform that offers rental inventory management/tracking for my business and the ability to easily create an online webstore and checkout system that looks sleek, sharp, well designed and is customer friendly. They have the option to create a fully Booqable website, but I've opted to integrate Booqable into my preexisting wordpress website using their Booqable plugin which makes the process very easy. Support has been readily accessible whenever I need help. I also recently used booqable's online AI chatbot and I have to say - it might be one of the best AI chatbots I've ever used. I was struggling to connect my google ads/analytics account to my booqable checkout page to measure conversions and the google ad representatives I was on the phone with were very little help and took an incredibly long time to walk me through basic steps. The Booqable AI chatbot was actually more helpful than the human support I received from google. This was an eye-opening moment for me, as it might be the first time in my life so far that I received better service from an AI chatbot than from an actual human being. I'll also mention that Booqable doesn't rely on the AI chatbot - they always offered the option to connect me with a real support agent and even though I didn't end up needing one, after I finished my conversation a human support agent reviewed my conversation and reached out to offer any extra support I needed.

Cons

As with any online webstore/checkout system, there is an amount of CSS and javascript that the booqable plugin needs to use to operate and this ends up negatively impacting the speed of my website and my google pagespeed insights score. Some of this is obviously necessary and a slightly slower website is a fair tradeoff for online store functionality, but I do think there is room for improving the behind the scenes code and ultimate speed.

Overall, it's been excellent. The onboarding has been amazing. I met with \[sensitive content hidden\] and she was so helpful and patient with all of my questions. She made sure I walked away feeling comfortable with the explanations she provided and followed up with more links after our meetings.

Pros

I appreciate the ease of use. There are multiple videos throughout the system that walked me through the process. These videos were very helpful and made the process very enjoyable.

Cons

I dislike the limitations is has on different services. For example, it all or nothing. What I mean by this is that I have to chose the same availability model for all of my products but it does not apply in the real world as it relates to my business. I've had to find workarounds to address my need.

We have about 500 reservations annually. We have compared some tools but Booqable is the best if you consider price/quality for our scale.

Pros

We use Booqable for our audiovisual equipment at our university college. We think the software is very user-friendly for both us and our students. It is also very flexible within reservations, the application is very well thought through. Support is always quick to answer.

Cons

Some minor features are missing, such as being able to sort data on 'picked-up', even though the status 'picked-up' exists and you cannot download an invoice but need a work-around. But I've been able to put this forward to the developers because they appreciate feedback to be able to improve the software.

### "A Strong Inventory Management Platform with Room to Grow"

Overall, our experience with Booqable has been very positive. It has helped us stay organized, reduced manual work, and made inventory management far more efficient than spreadsheets or basic ecommerce tools. While there are a few areas where we would love to see more flexibility and stronger reporting without upgrading plans, the platform itself is stable, well supported, and clearly built with rental businesses in mind. We consider it a strong long term solution and are happy with it as our backend system. We appreciate the Shopify plug ins and the detailed directions and vidoes to help connect them.

Pros

What we like most about Booqable is how intuitive and reliable it is for managing rental inventory. The interface is clean and easy to learn, which made onboarding simple for our team. Inventory tracking, availability calendars, and online reservations all work smoothly and give us confidence that we are not double booking items. It integrates well with our website and provides a professional customer experience without requiring heavy customization or technical work on our end. Overall, it feels thoughtfully designed for rental businesses and has been a strong operational foundation for us.

Cons

The biggest downside is that some essential features feel locked behind higher priced plans. Tools like running certain sales and more robust tax reporting are important for real world rental operations, especially as a business grows, and it would be nice if those were more accessible at lower tiers for start ups. Reporting in general could be more detailed and customizable, particularly when it comes to financial summaries and operational insights. We would also love more flexibility in customizing reservation workflows so they better match how our business operates day to day.

The support and functionality of the platform are fantastic. It is easy to set up and get started with a rental or e-commerce business. And it integrates well with our existing website. However, it can be expensive and lacks some desired features on the more affordable plan.

Pros

Customer support was fairly responsive and worked on an on-going issue for several months before ultimately a new version was rolled out that provided the appropriate fix. The integration with our existing website, Google Ads and SEO was fairly easy and Booqable support provided great assistance with getting that going. The set up for adding products, pricing structures and rental periods is great, and the user interface is pretty intuitive. The phone app to be able to capture a signature while out doing a delivery is particularly useful.

Cons

I wish there were more reports that I could access without paying for premium. Premium does seem to offer a couple of features we would use, including coupons and barcode tracking, but not at the significant price increase between plans. We use a different system for inventory tracking with barcodes that is free. And while it is annoying to use to platforms, it is what we can afford to do. Overall, the platform is moderately priced for what it offers. There are platforms with more features for a lower annual price. We are actively looking to reduce costs and have identified this as a possible reduction by switching platforms.

### "Booqable - Easy to use"

Overall my experience with Booqable has been great. Every time I have contacted Booqable through the chat they have quickly answered my questions. I like that the chat is easy to use and that you don't have to jump through hoops to speak to someone technical.

Pros

Booqable is really easy to use, which I think is so important as everyone is so busy. We set Booqable up in a relatively short space of time, I was really surprised about that. If you are not sure about anything at all you can go on the chat with customer services. It's really easy and they quickly answer your questions and stay with you until you have resolved all your issues. It is so quick to add new inventory items, change orders, send payment requests. Sometimes we help our customers by setting an account up for them, which is a great feature, then we can quickly build their order together as they are deciding what they need. We do get regular updates on any new features or changes. I also like that you receive an email once an order has been paid for. We looked at a few products before we chose Booqable, ease of use and value for money made it a very easy decision.

Cons

We have been using Booqable for well over a year now and don't really have anything negative to say about it.

Good experience. the AI bot answers a lot of questions and for the price, it works nicely for a business of my size.

Pros

Great value for money especially because I can update my website straight from the booqable program!!!

Cons

I wish you could have different rental terms for different products such as only allowing my tours to be booked at certain times while my vehicles can be rented flexibly throughout the day.

I’ve been using Booqable for my Vespa rental business for three years now, and I’m very satisfied with it. The app is also user-friendly and convenient to work with. The customer service is excellent—they go above and beyond to resolve any issue you may have. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the basic plan does not allow you to create discount codes.

Pros

Easy to work with, great customer service. The option for instant payouts is also a very nice feature.

Cons

Unfortunately, it is not possible to create discount codes for customers with the Basic plan—you need to upgrade for that, which is a bit disappointing.
