### "Good working system"

Overall motive is a decent system.The wifi is really the only big complaint I have with it.

Pros

It's relatively easy to navigate and works as it should.

Cons

The wifi they sell with your elog package is 0.5gb/month and it doesnt even come close to being enough data to run an elog for a month.Motive elog is the only thing I run on that tablet.The keep truckin/motive wifi doesn't work very well at all,I normally have to run it off the hotspot on my phone.

### "Ruthless Company Who Lies and Deceives Users to Grow Their Profit"

Be careful with Keeptruckin contract and their sales team. I was tricked by a Keeptruckin seller. I ordered one new ELD device and he suggested me to upgraded my contract from the basic one to the one with IFTA included; I agreed on that. Then he said once I upgraded my plan he would send me the device without any cost. Then, he sent me a contract for the new device to be signed by Docusign at the end of the day. I quickly signed it because I desperately needed the new device to be shipped on that day. I confess that I did not read all the words written on the contract. Otherwise, he did not mention any changed on my previous contract, but the price. I regret to sign it because I was completely deceived by him. He took advantage of my lack of time and included a Dash Cam on the order which I did not ordered, beside of it, the service cost for the referred dash cam is $30.00 per month for two years. It will cost me $720.00 for a Dash Cam I have not ordered and will never use it. The original contract that was supposed to expire in February 2021 was extended to May 2022 without previous acknowledgement. So, I felt stupid and trapped by a leonine contract that I did not read; the seller took advantage of it. Be careful because on the contract says that the free equipment has to be returned to them after two years of use in a brand new condition or a $200.00 fine.

Pros

It is a quite simple software to be used like any other.

Cons

The customer service and seller department.

### "I would look elsewhere"

I would honestly look elsewhere if I was in the market to get a logbook. They make it very easy to lock you in and get your logbook connected and your debit card charged. Once that’s complete, they are done with you and wether their machine works or not is beyond them.

Pros

I love how their sales team absolutely bombarded me with emails, calls, voicemail.

Cons

Their ability to first of all fix a problems that has been identified, second the ability for them to still charge you the money you agreed upon when they are not providing ANY service.

Because I needed a logbook fast. Should have keeped looking.

### "Great Web and Mobile Apps for Drivers and Managers"

The administrative ease of tracking all trucks/drivers on one map coupled with the ability to identifying any maintenance issues online on one platform is awesome!

Pros

The ELD device plugs in in just minutes and allows you as a driver to very simply log all your HOS. The app is great with four SIMPLE to see circle graphics showing you current time to break, remaining drive time, remaining shift time and cycle time...it is dead easy and super useful!From an admin perspective both the app on the iPhone and the Web application show you so much detail about the drivers and the fleet of vehicles, it makes it so simple to identify which vehicles require reactive and preventative maintenance. The apps are easy to use, look great, have all the detail ever needed, and make it simple to digest large amounts of data about a lot of drivers and trucks...GREAT TOOL!!

Cons

Occasionally, the driver app will notify you that "Motive made changes" to your log...and those are like for a 30 second roll from a fule pump to a parking spot...that interrupts a break or something and is annoying.

### "Very good except?"

Pros

Easy to use and learn, and easy to install.

Cons

The pad that I connect to and use the logbook, disconnects and will not always reconnect. That makes it a pain in my backside since I use Agricultural Exemption almost daily during harvest, and into the fall.

### "Great product for companies, with minor kinks to work out"

This company is on its way to fulfilling all of the needs of this product. I have been called an spoken to as a customer on a regular basis, and they have always assured me that even my issues, of a single owner operator, will be addressed. That means a lot to me an it should mean a lot to even those companies with large fleets.

Pros

So far, the convenience of having a product that can be used for not just fuel, but other aspects of my industry is paramount. I keep all of my purchases for my vehicle consolodated, which is a huge benefit for me as a single business owner.

Cons

They still need more incorporation with the other aspects of their software. Mileage integration, documentation for IFTA, streamlining aspects of the purchasing process that make filing taxes easier. I think the company understands. The good news is below

### "Top of the Line Product"

Pros

We use the mileage & fuel reports for our IFTA reporting and we keep all of our driving logs with Keep Truckin. These reports are the most important feature of the software.

Cons

There are so many extra items with this software, I can't think of anything missing or that causes issues with our business.

### "Helpful with IFTA reporting!"

We initially didn't get the option with the IFTA reporting available and once we upgraded, we were really impressed with the IFTA information tracking provided by the app which allowed us to move away from our drivers filling out mileage reports in real time to gather the mileage when entering a new state and routes driven. The app has allowed our drivers to be safer and concentrate on the road and not worry about the mileage reporting since the ELD gathers that information.

Pros

I like the GPS features and the ability to gather all needed information for IFTA reporting.

Cons

I'm a user of the app and also an administrator but work in the office most of the time and only occasionally drive for work. I wish there was a "typical day" option for filling out the log book information since most of my days are 8-12 and 1-5 in the office so when I do have to drive, it takes a long time to update two weeks of logs to show that I was on duty in the office.

Being number 114 if they were doctors their bedside manner is perfect I don’t know how they find these people if they have some extras of these great people put them in trucks and see if these truck drivers could follow their lead It would be a much better place out here

That’s a hard one first time around things aren’t easy but by the third and fourth time things are a really great Keep Truckin staff can’t get any better they just can’t

Like I said previously first time around difficult third or fourth time got it down pat

There are things that could make it easier like the inspection where you have to check off each individual thing that’s nonsense

Pros

It settles my requirement for the DOT. Otherwise I don’t think I have it.

Cons

As an administrator sometimes when I would check to see where a driver was, the system was incorrect that may have been fixed, but I don’t trust it still

Ok if you want to be controlled.

Pros

They control and watch and track everything you do. So be careful with this device. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about their products. I am getting tired of them cause there is no freedom with them. I work local now so I don’t do any over the road with them if I was over the road I will not use them.

Cons

Too much controlling. They love your log open so they know where you are at all time. Yes I should log out you say. Nooooo the device should automatically log out if I am at home and 30 miles away from my truck.

One of my biggest problems was trying to keep the hour driven in line with FMCSA requirements and MOTIVE has absolutely solved that problem for me.

Pros

Ease of use and user-friendly software with some great features for the owner-operator.

Cons

There really is nothing that I like least about the software. I know that the developers at MOTIVE will continue to see advise and try and improve the software for the industry.

### "AI technology for DashCam/ELD "

We were mandated by federal law to implement electronic logging and have found Keep Truckin allowed us to facilitate this in a fairly cost effective manner

Pros

The hardware components are very easy to install into vehicles. Once settings are put into place in the portal, the data management is fairly easy to maintain and create reports

Cons

Data for software still in progress so when hardware components connected, we could not figure out why product was not producing necessary information. There was very little information given advising us for setup and what setting parameters needed to be setup

Using Motive is easy, and the explanations of how to do certain functions that I receive from the help line has been fantastic.

Pros

The product is easy to use on a daily basis.

Cons

I have not used any other ELD's to compare it with. Most of the personel on the helpline communicate in English much better than when I started with Keeptruckin. Nothing bad to say.

I’m still using it but it’s been frustrating

The product is fairly user friendly & easy to connect to my vehicle & phone

Cons

I have been thru 5 gateways in 2 years. For inexplicable reasons they just stop working, won’t update the software or just “glitch” out. I then have to wait weeks, sometimes months for a new one to be shipped out & then the new one worked only a couple of months

### "Unethical Business"

IT IS NOT FREE! They locked me in for 60 months contract without my knowledge. I asked the agent, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], multiple time if this is month to month and can I cancel at anytime, he said YES! Then I later found out that I was locked into a 60 months contract when I was trying to cancel their dashcam service. I contacted their customer services multiple times and everytime they try to blame it on me for not carefully reading the contract, but refuse to take responsibility for their agent scamming me. I even asked them if they recorded phone calls between their agent and I, they said yes. They said they listen to all of it and did not hear \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] confirming it's a month to month. I then ask them if they can send me those recording and they refused, saying is their company property 😂 Okkk! Who in their right mind would lock themselves in a 5 years contract with an ELD service company on the first year of opening their business? Now Im stuck with them for 5 years, ain't going to use them ever again after this stupid contract is over, which is in 2024. TRUCKERS PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS UNETHICAL BUSINESS!

Pros

It does the job of an ELD, easy to navigate for IFTA filing.

Cons

Some of the functions are not very straightforward, ex. Split clock need to be in sleeper berth, cannot be on off duty.

### "The KeepTruckin Experience "

My overall experience has been extremely positive while using this product. And the customer service is outstanding. I have called into customer support a number of times and whoever I get on the phone has always been very professional, courteous and resolved my issue with one phone call. That in itself has really impressed me.

Pros

The ease of use of this product is what I like most. Being able to pull reports is another feature that I really like as it helps so much when I have to submit IFTA taxes. I also find value in using the camera; I believe that it’s absolutely necessary to have a camera in your truck to eliminate any possibility of being blamed for events that did or did not happen.

Cons

It can be confusing when trying to make corrections relating to on duty, off duty and driving time errors. And it could be that I’m just haven’t really gotten the hang of performing those functions yet.

As I read through the product overview, I truly liked many of the features that KeepTruckin had to offer. And the customer reviews were very positive.
