### "Log book importance "

Other than video clips are way to short to capture the bigger picture, 99.9% of the videos put the truck Driver in a bad light. Tired of signing logs every time my wife and I change Driver's, we run team. The only way a signature is saved the first time is vehicle inspection page. The only time your signature on the log is saved is when it becomes yesterday's log.

Pros

All features are important, I have always liked the layout and custom service.

Cons

Drivers signature doesn't stay on logs for the day you are on. You have to sign today's log tomorrow. Dash cam needs to save 2 minutes before a video starts and 2 minutes after.

I love the real-time features, that allow you to follow a vehicle step by step from location to location

Cons

To be honest I haven't found any features of the software that I liked least. I guess I would say, no longer having the ability to allow drivers to onboard through the Motive link

Easy to use and very easy for a first time user to log in and get started.

Implementing the system and very simple and very user friendly.I have had and still have issues regarding data use and still am not able to get answers for motive reps. Invoicing I have repeatably asked to be billed in a different manner other than credit card and it still have not been done .

Cons

Dealing with issues in regards to data and invoicing is very frustrating.

### "Unfortunate Experience"

Overall the Motive functionality works but based on the pricing and the wasted hours it took for me to rectify the issue of being overcharged it is unlikely I will use Motive moving forward. Additionally, the pricing is not competitive with other similar companies.

Pros

The real time tracking is critical in my industry. The log reporting makes it easy to file quarterly reporting. The people on the service side have always been helpful.

Cons

The sales team attempted to defraud me and not keep their promises. It took over six calls and countless wasted hours to get Motive to honor what was promised to me in writing. Due to this lack of professionalism it is extremely unlikely that I will use Motive after my contract ends.

Overall I like the setup. If they can fix the driver mode getting stuck it would fantastic. It doesn’t happen enough for me to think about switching. I wish it didn’t cost so much money on an annual basis, but you get what you pay for.

Pros

The whole system is a pro. It’s user friendly, the dashboard has great features, the app is user friendly

Cons

Sometimes the eld gets stuck in driver mode and I have to call support to reset. For me it only seems to happen when I’m nearing my violation period. No pressure!

Reason for choosing Motive

A lot of people seem to be happy with the product and services. Keep truckin is also on the list of acceptable Eld’s for the FMCSA website.

### "Top ELD Tracking App"

I would definitely welcome and recommend this ELD tracking system.

Pros

The ease in which logging on and off is done in addition to the option on the 70 hr, 14hr, 11hr and split sleeper clock monitoring.

Cons

The in frequent failures in the device not tracking the beginning of your shift movement and mileage.

Pros

That everything is in one plat form. Easier to you the website.

Cons

Wish the 3min idle can be changed. When the logbook starts in idle. Also wish if the truck and trailer are connected, they appear together on the map.

### "Mojos easy function use"

There wasn’t anything that we did not look like a Bob Motive we first got to devices it was easy hook up pretty self-explanatory and if we had any issues we would call and they will walk us to fixing issues and every time we did it was pretty simple to fix

Extremely aggravating. Seems like they don't really care about much after the contract is signed.

Pros

Hard to like when it can't be used because it is defective.

Cons

The fact that it doesn't work. It repeated enters the wrong mileage for the odometer reading and the administrative portal shows vehicles driving where there are no roads (ie- rivers and fields).

Reason for choosing Motive

It seemed like it had a better interface and functionality for the electronic logging. If the product actually worked as marketed, it would be great.

We use Motive for electronic logging, dash cam, asset tracking and compliance for fuel reports. Everything has been great and Safety Auditor for New Entrant Safety Audit stated that KT/Motive was the “gold standard” of ELD’s

Pros

The software is easy to use and setup was also easy. The dashboard and the features available are incredible.

Cons

At this point I have nothing negative to say about the software.

### "Motive ELD/E-Log"

Pros

Installation of the ELD's were relatively simple into the vehicles, and the drivers were used to the mobile app in no time. The admin webpage is also very user friendly, and it's a great asset being able to see vehicle locations in real time.

Cons

It'd be nice to be able to change the minimum safety limits for drivers (ie. speeding, hard braking, hard cornering, etc.), as our drivers constantly need "coaching". Not entirely sure how these traits are determined, but for the most part my drivers are above average.

our company bata test equipment for KT and are always giving back feedback i love that i have meeting with there reps about new futures for dash board and actually use our feedback and listen to there customers needs and wants

Pros

its always current and up to date with all new changed to make sure our fleet is compliant with all FMCSA changes. customer success mamagers are always available and on hand. friendly to use for drivers and easy to install.

Cons

sometimes the call center takes a while to fix issue, when i call they have to send to another tier and sometimes things need to be done now so drivers arent in violation. When sending cameras or RMA couldnt take couple days then i forgot about the issue.

Reason for choosing Motive

the representative sold us.\[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]! most important we knew the transition would be smooth and the equipment was easy to install having terminals in different states we knew we needed a big name to help us move 200+ trucks over. never regret and best decision

### "Very poor customer relations "

Pros

They were great at selling their product.

Cons

Once they have you sign their contract and you have questions about billing. They bounce you around until you ask for a call back from their system. YOU WONT GET ONE! Changing unto with your device isn't easy in my experience. Unless you fell like waiting on the phone for almost an hour. Even their team will say call after hours. However if your problem can't be fix by the after hours, your stuck in the same situation, waiting on the phone again. They don't the difference between currencies either. They add you and invoice you in Canadian dollars, then charge you in US. Then you call in regarding this charge issue. You get bounced from billing department to Success department. With both departments saying its the other department problem. This has been my experiences. Been waiting over 2 weeks since my original call request from an actual person taking my request.

### "Very likeable product"

Overall other than the data, I love this service. The customer service is great.

Pros

I like most that I can see where my drivers are and get a report on how many miles they drive. Also I love the maintenance repot that keeps me up to date on how my truck can stay up to date on maintenance.

Cons

The thing I like least about this product is the fact they seem to charge me for data services that I never use. I pay for 2 GB of data and every month they tell me I run out. My drivers don't have access to the tablet to use any data and my truck hasn't been driven in over a month and they tell me that my data is being used. The doors are locked on my truck and it hasn't been on all month long. I called customer service and they tell me I must have other apps in the background using it. That's impossible if I haven't driven my truck all month long. Still waiting on them to figure that out.

Pros

What did I like the most about this software? Motive is really simple to use (user friendly). Have never add any major problems.

Cons

What did I like least about this software? Serisouly nothing. Everything is so smooth

It works great with keeping me updated with compliance, IFTA, reset times for drivers, and equipment locations, all in one place! easy to manage and use for our company!

Pros

the software just added dash cam to be able to keep informed on your drivers performance and safety.

Cons

The loadboard is mostly for van and reefer loads as my company specializes heavy haul. It has great lanes and posting for freight for my dispatchers to use for our flatbed division and helps with my owner operators who are signed on to the company.

Pros: many different functions, reports, on-time monitoring

Cons

Cons: malfunctions and issues happened too often. Even if Motive representatives try to be nice and react at our issues, our drivers daily report issues of connection and good ELD working. (can not understand why it happened so often).The robot of Motive to start a chat - is not enough smart working, does not offer on first step wanted options (consume a lot of my time until I get the needed solution) and after - annoyingly asks me about a reviewNot in all cases I can download a report directly from the site - they send link on e-mail

I am satisfied with Motive (previously Keep Truckin), although I haven't used any other similar software. I would give it 7/10 overall.

Pros

The software is user-friendly, the new features can be easily learned and for the purpose of my activities (monitoring drivers' logbooks), I am satisfied with the overall experience. There are also some new/modern concepts integrated in terms of driver safety scores (related to drivers' driving performance) than can be useful when assessing drivers' overall performance on the road. I am generally satisficed with Customer Support, although there is room for improvment.

Cons

From time to time, the web site can be slow and keeps on loading. There are some bugs - logbook related that I already notified Customer Support and Engineering Team about - but they still haven't implemented them.
