Significant reduction in fraudulent and wasteful experiences. It is the market leading solution to physical economy safety and reliability.

Pros

Motive has been my best friend in the field of softwares. It is very accurate to reduce the risks on the road using the AI. It also saves us time and cost with deep insights into vehicle health, location and use. Theft prevention is well executed making it quite secure and precise.

Cons

Customer Experience was not as expected. I rarely get feedbacks on time. That should probably be the point to improve on.

Pros

In cab coaching, real time feedback is the best method for influencing behavior.

Cons

Cornering events are inconsistent and hard to coach.

### "Big tool with minimal componenets"

Customer support is excellent, web and app content great, especially the ability to manage the fleet from the phone app. In vehicle cameras are excellent and the ability to set adjust or remove parameters you want monitored

It has been a process to learn the very interactive reporting platform. I can find all truck data + in a minute as well as track the entire fleet at 1 time.

Pros

The support team in specific \[sensitive content hidden\] are the best I have seen in the industry. They are taking care of all of our needs and we have roughly 10,000 trucks in our fleet.

Cons

We did not move on from our previous ELD company sooner!

At times the ELD is faulty records drive time when parked and when you call for assistance to help fix the problem, they say there’s nothing they could do about it.

Horrible, horrible horrible use so many options. These guys will take your money and never call you back again and then give you random calls acting like they are following up on customer service.

Pros

The staff has no idea what they’re doing. They have no knowledge of their own system. Complete waste of money and time

Like I said it's very easy to use and the logbook never glitches and the camera always has quality and easy to get a video when you need one

Pros

The app and the devices never give me any problems as long as been using it. I prepaid for two years and now I don't have to worry about any monthly payments.

Cons

My old app use to let me change the status from driving or to pc. Motive makes u stop for like 2 seconds before you change toys status.

Reason for choosing Motive

I've used in the past before you actually needed the device and was pretty use to it and my insurance gives me a big discount for letting them see how I drive.

### "Great for Any Driver"

We have a very good experience so far. It has been a lifesaver for the logbook record-keeping.

Pros

The features I like most are the real-time tracking, trip history and logbook integration. It makes trucking and managing driver much easier with less hassle.

Cons

The site is easy enough to navigate with some coaching. A more intuitive format and labeling would be helpful. it seems to take a lot of clicks to access some of the information that should be more readily available, such as histories or reports.

### "They charged us again after we canceled their services and refuse to refund us AGAIN!!"

Last year we were going to start a company, so we were getting everything in place to get started. We ended up not doing the business, didn't even start. So we called to cancel Motive. They would not refund our money. Then last month, a year later, they charged our credit card again. They won't refund it again! Even though we canceled them last year and never even used their services.

Pros

I did not like anything about working with Motive. They were very hard to get a hold of. Their policies are terrible!

Cons

They stole our money and refuse to accept our cancellation.

### "Motive is a great tool to manage your fleet!"

Overall we are very impressed with Motive and will continue using it to boost our Preventative Maintenance program, lone worker program, and help us to remain compliant with regulations.

Pros

We like that we can see details such as speeds, infractions, hazards, and maintenance items all in one place. Motive helps us to keep our drivers safe, while remaining compliant with regulatory bodies. Our preventative maintenance program has been greatly improved with the notifications of mechanical issues that may arise.

Cons

The only con to Motive would be when the GPS signal drops. Unfortunately operating out of northern Canada, it can get patchy with reception and occasionally that does affect the performance of the GPS.

### "Motive to Move"

Motive was easy to set up with our client specialists, and great support during the set up of the program for our company. Any questions or concerns they answer as best as they can, and if it is a new issue they work on resolving it ASAP.

Pros

Great customer support 24/7. They also have a community board where other users can discuss issues or concerns that they ran into on Motive, and how they solved the issue. Motive is active on this as well, answering any concerns as well as they can.

Cons

The only concern i would say about motive is that it is not a satellite telematics service. In long haul trucking we travel to a lot of areas where there is no cell service, and this leads to issues/concerns with tracking the unit.

My thoughts, Well, I manage two companies which use ELDs. In one, we have one KeepTrucking device and the other we use Verizon’s system in the fleet of about 10 units. So everyday I get to compare your systems. KeepTrucking has direct advantages over Verizon’s but lacks in a couple areas. First, KT’s advantage is driver ease of use, and we can do the system installation. Verizon is hard for drivers to understand and needs special service techs to install. Secondly area of service, Montana is the fourth largest state and one of the least cellular regions in the country. There is no getting around it we have dead zones, KT recovers faster than Verizon once a cell tower is picked up. KT is the truckers ELD. The only real downfall is what or how the trucking management fields are used. Verizon has more included functions in their system, such as timecards and logs, daily and details reports of the drivers and/or the trucks systems. So, cost most likely another issue, that is to say data; the KT system we have needed more data than what was provided in our initial package which we had to purchase on top of our informed cost. Verizon’s total cost was up front.

### "Dispatcher's Opinion"

It's an overall good system, I've had a couple of challenges. I feel there should be assigned TEAMS to handle accounts/issues. The reason being, when I call in I get a different person each time and then a CASE number is created and then I have to wait for a response via email. I believe in good old customer service with live individuals to get things rectified. Some things cannot be handled with emails and require a live person on the other end of the phone.

Pros

As a trucking company we rely on ELDs and tracking. Motive allows for us to track our fleet/assets but there are many times the Solar Gateways need to be recharged and it makes it difficult for us if the asset is sitting at an offsite far way location. Motive has supplies us with cables to recharge the Gateway but if my asset loses charge while in a different state, how do I find it and recharge it? This happens more frequently than desired....just frustrating.

Cons

I wish there was a way to input more than one destination address because our trucks have multiple stops as route trucks and I have to continuously make changes rather than inputting all the address at once and watch my driver's progress. I've brought this up to Motive many times. I should be able to input the multiple addresses/route and watch the progress of my driver rather than feel as though I am babysitting them and asking them to call in after every drop.

Sold on product and cost. Since our switch, costs have gone up.

### "Does everything and some"

Easy of use and functionality

Pros

Ive used other types of this software such as big road ELD, and in comparison I do not know how Big Road is in business. The UI alone is enough reason for me not promote motive or recommend to those seeking similar software. Motive is easy to use, laid out to where everything is easily accessible. Reports are easy to find and easily generated and it is able to integrate with other software such as TMS software and much more.

Cons

I wish the motive load board displayed more load information and had the ability to broaden search parameters such as date ranges ability to put in multiple pick up and drop of locations, aside of that I love it

### "Peace of mind"

The benefits are that we can count on the devices to work as they are supposed to and they keep us in compliance with DOT regulations. The last company we were with was very hit and miss on if their equipment worked as it was supposed to for the clients. It was disturbing.

Pros

We only employ owner/operators and most are up in age and do not like technology or change. They were pleasantly surprised with your system and the ease of use. As the Safety Director, I like that I am sent an email any time there is an HOS issue with any of our drivers. I applaud your tech support team too! They are very knowledgeable and patient.

Cons

Integration to Keep Trukin was pleasantly easy. Our driver's installed the devices themselves and they are older guys that do not like change or technology. I cannot say that there is anything I do not like about the software.

Reason for choosing Motive

Keep Truckin had the best ratings and our drivers spoke to other drivers/friends who were recommending Keep Truckin to them.
