Great simple accounting service for the price.

Pros

I really liked the responsiveness of my team, and the ease of reviewing my account each month. during our monthly call, which is included with the monthly service fee.

Cons

The only con is that you have to pay more, the more accounts you add, which was not a problem for me initially, but would have been if I added another account in the future.

Pros

What I like most about Bench is how quickly I hear back from my accountant. I can have just one question or small update and I hear back within an hour or two.

Cons

When I first started using the software, it took me a minute to find my way around, but after a week or so it became easier.

Good due to good rep however overall functionality could be better - to what was promised. Still expecting a fix moving forward that has been promised, but has not happened yet.

Pros

Time-saving aspect. The fact that I don't have to do the bookkeeping myself anymore.

Cons

A lot of features that were advertised when I was onboarded actually did not work when I paid the significant sign-on fees, discovered this months down the line and these issues have still not been fixed.

I LOVE it so much!! I wish we would have started using this from the start with our business.

Pros

Bench has changed our business for the better! Having all of our books from month to month in one place is GAME changing! My favorite part is the real time look at the health of our business because our books are now done monthly. I can be confident that we'll never be behind! Which helps us make better business decisions!

Cons

When I was first new to Bench and terms like "balance sheet" and "profit and loss" I wished there was a hover by where you click on them at the top that gave a quick description of what each meant.

Pros

Very easy setup, fast and easy integration with existing apps like paypal, stripe, online banking. Easy to check your earnings with profit/loss, and fast categorization of your expenses.

Cons

Having to continuously login to my banking app, and it's unclear most of the time whether or not the step works until it doesn't. This is most likely because of some kind of continued authentication/security my bank uses, but it's still inconvenient.

I was manually bookkeeping for years, fearing the price-point and pain of switching to a local service (I'm a night-owl so it's especially painful to communicate with humans)-- even if they were recommended by friends. Bench offered a clean on-boarding experience, fair price, and most importantly, a great web client that I can check at any time

Very very solid app, Quick responses, great staff

Cons

Potentially getting more clients may make their response time a little slower, but I'm sure they can scale up

Pros

I have used Bench for the past couple of months for my business. It is an incredibly easy service and I would recommend 10/10 times. In the past we have used other bookkeeping services that are unreliable. Bench is always reliable. Our rep responds same day and the user interface is beautiful.

Cons

We are very happy with Bench. I would love to see Bench become an advisory / CPA service as well!

Cons

I still haven't figured out how to get them access to my bank statements, so I have to scan and copy them.

I absolutely can’t stand dealing with bookkeeping transactions - it would eat up my time and not provide value to my business. Since I’ve used Bench, this is all off my shoulders and I can focus on the key metrics that matter. Now that I’m also using an accountant connected to Bench, I’m finally getting my taxes done on time, too.

Cons

Nothing not to love. It’s all a great time saver.

Our overall experience has been fantastic. I would recommend Bench to any company like ours. We are a DTC consumer fitness products manufacturer and there are a lot of daily sales. Bench keeps everything in order.

Pros

Very easy to use. Automatically uploads all statements. Dashboard is very easy to navigate. Our bookkeeper is very detail oriented and on top of it. The best thing is that it is very simple to get a good understanding of our company's financial health.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that it is sometimes difficult to get to the 'messages' section of the site.

I am using them for keeping my books clean for during the end of the year returns and quarterly returns. Overall great service.

Pros

They do a good job in preparing your books every month. There is a lot of automated capabilities. This makes it easier for me too since I don't need to send them pdfs every month for them to review.

Cons

The price is a bit higher than I would like but overall their service is great and the bookkeeper are wonderful to work with.
