President Sporting Goods Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Bookkeeping made easy" April 29, 2019 5.0 When there was an issue with my books, i was able to get a supervisor to help iron out all the kinks (the issue was with my payroll system and tax liabilities, not bench) i was happy to have that service available Pros I like the reports i can generate on my phone. It’s so nice that this is in app form. Cons Not so much the software but i don’t like that i have had six different bookkeepers since signing up two years ago. While they do have a team that works together overall, it’s been a little daunting having a new bookkeeper every few months. This was more an issue when i first signed up, I’ve had my bookkeeper now for a time least six months. Review Source Greg H. The "bookkeeping hat" was my least favorite. I used to get behind on my books and then cram on them when it was time to do taxes. Now, with Bench, I have a team of humans who do my books for me. Not only is everything in order for my taxes, but now I can get a clear picture on all the financials of my business. I’m able to talk to someone whenever I need to and the people in charge of my account have no problem reaching out to me either. It takes a huge weight off my shoulders and I can focus on getting more work done knowing that I am being very well taken care of, and that my team cares enough to pay attention to all the details. Cons There’s not much that I don’t like, but more integration into selling platforms and perhaps social media will be good as well. I really wish I'd found Bench sooner! Pros 1\. The onboarding process was easy and fast. 2. It's easy to communicate with my account representatives. They are very responsive and friendly and knowledgeable. 3. They pay attention to detail and are very accurate. 4. The reports are comprehensive and easy to read and understand. It's affordable and the online tools to add expenses and analyze data are decent. My one area for improvement is that I wish Bench offered more human customer service support, even if it's a basic level of accounting I got help in uploading data and having a review done. But I could have used some more help with fully understanding my balance sheets. Overall. Bench is great value for your money and is recommended highly for small businesses in need of book keeping services. Pros Easy to use. Friendly customer service. affordable. Pros As a growing business, this has been a very powerful tool to let me capture revenue and expenses. The combination of a software-based approach with a dedicated account manager has been awesome. Plus, when it came to tax-season, Bench did much of the heavy lifting for me, saving me \*\*hours\*\* that I used to spend on tax prep. I spend so much less time dealing with bookkeeping and accounting now that I use Bench. The team message feature and the fact you can annotate each transaction is pretty stellar. Highly recommended. It took a little longer then originally quoted but they did a solid job and had good contact. No complaints at all. Pros I like that they do everything, its easy. You send them the info and they get it all ready. The team is friendly and provides good support. Cons A couple features that would be nice include being able to send ACH payments from the software. Cons I wish they could do tax filing as well for companies owned by foreign individuals and with foreign subsidiaries. I had to use Taxfyle for that reason and I would have preferred to have everything in one place.
