### "From zero to Hero"

Bench has been an invaluable tool, to me especially as I salesperson because I can’t do math and never learned accounting so having a team of experts to rely on has massively enhanced my business allowing me to focus on driving revenue.

Pros

Bench’s app and user interface make accounting on the go a breeze, allowing me to maximize my sales time and minimize my admin time

Cons

Some of the features like attachments don’t work well in the app, I would like to be able to upload pictures and screenshot from my phone as I’ve been making a concerted effort to be paper and laptop free.

### "Bench offers great support for a small Book Keeping Service"

I am a loyal customer and a happy one. I make it clear if you run a small business Bench can positively help your business grow. If you are a medium business its likely not for you but for Mom and Pops this is a perfect service.

Pros

The price is worthy of the value. The service is grounded and level. The results each year were less stress, more time spent with family because our bookkeeping services were met.

Cons

It's not software its a service, and ultimately every service has a price. I don't think the results are valuable unless you work with your bookkeeper to accurately get all of your bookkeeping done. As a result, there is some time involvement required. BUT FAR LESS than you'd need to do if you managed it yourself.

I love it. Bench tracks all expenses and the team communicates regarding expenses in question and suggest "expense categories."

Pros

I love how user friendly the software is. Everything is easy to upload and the team is able to communicate with you and ask for documents or ask questions.

Cons

I have no complaints about any aspect of the software. Very satisfied overall.

Software was to difficult to use and categorizing expenses was a headache. I constantly had to go back and approve scanned receipts, too time consuming.

I knew it was time to organize my finances and Bench makes it super easy for me. Their messaging service team always sends me reminders and I can easily upload my monthly reports right into the platform. I love having the Bench team keep me on track, organized, and see my financials with ease!

Pros

I love the ease of the software and being able to keep everything organized and in one place!

Cons

I do wish tax services were included, but other than that I'm happy with the software.

### "Great for basic needs, but easily outgrown"

We needed basic bookkeeping done for us for a reasonable price. Bench does that.

Pros

It's easy to get set up and you can rely on your books always getting done one time. There's nothing incredibly special about the product or service, but it meets your basic needs very well for a good price.

Cons

The feature set is pretty weak. You can't write checks or see your financial data in the way you'd truly like to. The reporting options are extremely limited.

This has saved me so much time from needing regular in-person meetings with our bookkeeper. Love the ability to hop on a call with our bookkeeper at any time. Everything has been easy to use and transition.

Pros

Going from a traditional bookkeeper to Bench has been such a positive experience. Our books are so much more efficient and the online portal makes it so easy to make changes, track our spending, and ensure we're up to date. The combination of online account connections and automation mixed with a real bookkeeper that knows your account has been very helpful.

Cons

Some challenges with connecting financial accounts but appreciate the security requirements

Bench is excellent. For someone like myself who deals with thousands of transactions, I do not have time to learn how to become an accountant on the side. More often than not, I like to find someone who is an expert at a particular task, and ask them to "just get it done". Bench is that person for me.

Pros

Easy to use and check in on monthly and you're speaking with \*real people\*, not a robot or some self-serve dashboard.

Cons

Was a bit tricky/annoying to set up my bank accounts. Kept having connection issues and had to repeat the same setup task several times. Once I was able to get it set up however, everything has been issue-free.

Pros

I love math. I love numbers. And I could probably do my own bookkeeping if I didn’t have to also run the business, hire employees, train employees and work from home with two toddlers underfoot. That’s why Bench is so important to me. They’re the experts in their field. So they take that off my to do list so I can handle everything else.

Cons

I hate how my bank account always goes offline and I have to remember my password again and again to get it back online.

I spent hours each month, tracking my business financials. Since I started using Bench, I've been able to spend less time on tracking numbers and more time on doing what I do best in my business. I anticipate that I will gain 40-70 hours throughout the year by having this service.

Pros

The setup process was very simple & I've enjoyed having a single point of contact at Bench that I can reach out to whenever I have questions.

Cons

I would prefer more reporting to be easily accessible rather than just a year-end statement.

Pros

East to use. Improving on the regular and with new features like Pulse. I like the dedicated support and team member you are linked with makes it feel like an extension of my team.

Cons

Guided setup was more time consuming than it needed to be.. the sales team was great but my implementation team seemed like they were in the dark. After working through this and actually switching our bookkeeper within Bench after that it's been great.

Pros

This was super easy to set up and describe exactly what I was using it for. other providers took ages to figure out how to integrate my Amazon sales but Bench just got it!

Cons

The pricing was a bit on the higher side especially the catch up accounting that ended up being a large lumpsum in my case!

Stress free, conviennent and helpful!

Pros

I love that Bench isn’t just software, even though the bench software is a million light years away from other book keeping services with its clean dashboards and colorful graphs. The team is as efficient as as helpful as they claim.

Cons

Depending on your banking provider, you may experience slight connections issues and have to manually upload statements, but it’s far easier then bookkeeping by myself.

Invoicing. Tracking finances. Giving information to my accountants. Bench is responsive and easy.

Pros

This product is easy to use and really helps me to stay organized. I was a Quickbooks user before Bench, and this software is far easier and more intuitive. I spend less time tracking and organizing finances and if I do have an issue the customer service team is always helpful and responsive.

Cons

I kept putting off the setup because I thought it would be like Quickbooks and be too time consuming. I was wrong. If you think you are too busy to change your software, trust me, you aren't. Bench is worth it.

Pros

As a small business owner, I knew that I needed a bookkeeping solution (particularly as we continue to grow) but I wasted a lot of time trying to do it myself and still not doing it well. I already use other platforms that integrate well with Bench so I decided to give them a try. I am so glad that I did. They stay on top of my books, address the tiny details that I often overlooked, and provide clean, easy to read reports that help me stay on top of my business financial health. My tax preparer is going to be so happy!

Cons

Honestly, there isn't anything that I could say I don't like about Bench right now. I'm hoping that it is an option that grows with me as my business continues to grow but we have sometime before examining that issue.

So far, so good. I'm still a newer customer but I'm already feeling better. I have more time to focus on building my business and selling service.

Pros

When I did the trial they had an entire month of bookkeeping done within 24 hours. I'm not shocked because I know this can be done by anyone with the time. I just don't have the time, so the fact that they did this for someone that's only a prospect is impressive. They make it VERY easy for you. You do very little with your bookkeeping and can do as much via phone or chat as you want.

Cons

I wish they didn't charge extra to manage multiple lines of business.

My overall my experience has been very well. I now use this a few times a week to track my business health and me bookkeeper Yashub is great as communicating with me.

Pros

Great customer service and very consistent in updating all info and expenditures to keep a real pulse on overall health of financial status including all reports.

Cons

Integration took a little longer and a few timely processes to begin that were a little confusing, however all necessary steps at the end of the day.

Overall, I believe Bench has given me peace of mind about my financials being documented correctly and allowed me to spend more time working on my business instead of in my business.

Pros

Bench is easy to use and they take the guess work out of managing your business financials.

Cons

There have been a few moments when Bench missed expenses, and had I not caught them, they would have gone undiscovered. They could do a better job double-checking their work.
