### "Generates Leads On Its Own"

April 23, 2018

5.0

Pros

We absolutely love Typeform for our business. We have created many lead generating surveys and tools to help our users. We have even converted our PDF applications into interactive typeforms so people can complete applications on their mobile device. Typeform is easy to use, the possibilities are endless, and it is fun for users. We like the ability to customize typeform for our business using our business color scheme and logo. We also like that we can customize our typeform link when sending to clients. It feels less like we are sending them to a third party software and more like they are still on our website.

Cons

The "Calculate" feature does not actually calculate in the sense of a real calculator. Rather, it calculates "points" if you are creating quizzes and surveys. The new Typeform interface is kind of hard to get used to simply because we were SO used to the old interface. It's always hard when software companies change up their tool or give their tool a face lift....it takes some getting used to. New users will have no difficulty though. It's only a con for us because we were used to their original interface.

### "The best way to make forms"

100 out of 100. Simply the best

Pros

Typeform is one of the best tools we use on the commpany, its so easy and have a lot of options when is integrated with zapier

Cons

For the moment, we don´t have any problem, maybe the only feature we ask for is to have a format question when cards numbers are captureted

### "Build beautiful forms and survey templates that keep your audience engaged."

November 7, 2022

5.0

I have has a great experience with Typeform. I have no problems and don't think I have even had a need to reach out for any tech support or watch endless tutorials to learn how to use it. I find that I have a higher completion rate of the questions verses other types of forms due to the interactive aspect of I think. People are less likely to get bored with the form or distracted by something else.

Pros

I love the ease of use. They have many templates to choose from and I really enjoy being able to create stunning designs in the forms. No more boring forms to fill out

Cons

The price of the paid versions is more expensive than I was willing to pay as a small business. I would like the additional features but choose to stay with the free version for now. Larger businesses will probably not mind the cost for the value of the additional features.

### "The form builder at the top of the food chain"

January 13, 2023

5.0

Pros

As a company and a team, we have used multiple form builders, including some form builders on the WordPress site builder, and no one has served us like Typeform. There is just something about the Typeform experience; no one seems to be able to place a hand on it, but Typeform forms always provide a better result compared to other form builders.I got to love Typeform when I wanted to sign up for an event, and the flow and experience were seamless and unique, unlike anything I'd ever tried, so we decided to try and integrate it on our form, and the result was unbeatable. The response was more genuine; leads came in faster, and the flow was great. We were provided with metrics, statistics, reports, and the progress of our form, which was unique compared to other form builders we tried. We could use Typeform to build amazing projects like the user poll to create surveys, generate leads, and create forms that are unique to us and our users.

Cons

I'll suggest Typeform add more features to the system to increase user traffic and the amount of time users remain on the website.

### "Form builder? How about "Minimally Viable Product" builder!"

December 11, 2019

5.0

Typeform is an incredible tool for testing out ways to disguise data capture / lead gathering as something that is providing actual value to the user. It's not a request for advertising proposals, it is a "campaign builder". It is not an online order form, it is a "savings calculator." Essentially, you can leverage the slick UX to make the users think their inputs are causing something to "happen" behind the scenes. This capability is further supported by Typform's intuitive UI for building logic and calculations into the form. Typeform lets you increase inbound leads and try out ideas for larger (custom dev) web projects with minimal time commitment at a very attractive price point.

Pros

Typform's fancy/expensive looking UX is its absolute selling point. It isn't the most flexible form builder in the world, but it does what it does well and it looks great doing it. The developers clearly recognized the massive amount of custom webapp development that was going into making – essentially – slick, expensive-looking multi-step forms and decided they should just make a webapp for making slick, expensive-looking multi-step forms.

Cons

It is definitely not the most robust solution in terms of functionality. It only has a couple options for how your forms will look, it only has a few integrations for what your forms can do... and that is largely by design. This isn't the Gravity Forms wordpress plugin. This is a specialized tool for leveraging slick UX to make crude data capture masquerade as something more sophisticated.

Reason for choosing Typeform

Gravity Forms are (is?) great, but they require a bit of custom dev work to achieve the high quality look and feel that Typform has out of the box. We use Typeform to prototype new product enhancements and then, having proven their efficacy, pay a developer to make the enhancements to as custom code built around Gravity Forms.

Switched from

[Wufoo](https://www.capterra.com/p/224990/Wufoo/)

Wufoo is in a weird spot in the marketplace. It isn't as technically robust as the form plugins that integrate natively with your CMS, and it isn't as beautiful as the embedded form builders that focus on creating plug-and-play solutions with a high-quality look and feel. It's kind of stuck in the middle with no clear "edge" in the marketplace.

### "Good with checking errors and validating data"

October 13, 2023

4.0

We usually need many data collection and entry tools to capture a broad range of market research data. We recently tried Typeform and it offers a few benefits we miss on other tools such the ability to choose the range within which the data responses from clients should fall. Although we are yet to learn how everything works, it is quite useful. So our experience is generally positive.

Pros

I like Typeform because creating a survey is easy and straightforward because of the drag-and-drop function. It supports many question types including rating scales that target respondents can understand and answer. I also Typeform because it is easy to avoid errors by validating the data by setting numerical range restrictions.

Cons

The subscription plan is designed in such a way that you will always want the higher plan, from the free plan to basic, plus, business and enterprise. Some users would appreciate a tool that offers every feature missing in the free plan after subscription. It relies on the internet to collect, store, manage, and analyze data. It requires learning because I am still yet to learn how to utilize all its functions.

### "AWESOME online forms tool"

June 16, 2021

Typeform is the best online form-builder I've ever used. Build professional forms of any complexity

Pros

Typeform is my favorite online forms tool. It empowers you to build robust, beautifully designed forms with complex logic. It's extremely easy to build forms & extract submissions. Form submitters have a wonderful experience completing the intuitive forms. You can't go wrong with Typeform!

Cons

I have zero complaints about Typeform. It's awesome. I'd recommend Typeform to anyone, for any use-case.

### "Beautiful surveys. Platform not reliable enough yet"

November 23, 2016

4.0

We've been using Typeform surveys to collect data continually from our customers all over the world, continually, 24x7. We transfer survey data to our systems via Typeform's API. In terms of design and usability, the surveys are way ahead of the competition. It's great value for money too. Where I'm hesitant to recommend Typeform is in terms of reliability. The platform itself still goes down occasionally. In the last 12 months we've had two big issues that have both lasted a couple of days. In most use cases (if you want to run non-time-critical surveys, where an error message popping up is no big deal), Typeform is an amazing data collection instrument. But if your own brand/image depends on it, I think it's going to take a bit longer before Typeform's own infrastructure and architecture is robust enough. Customer care is always helpful and friendly. Just be aware that they're not available 24x7, which is noticeable if you're not in their timezone (CET).

Pros

Survey looks and works great across all hardware/browsers. Ease of use. Value for money.

Cons

Service not reliable enough (if your brand depends on it). Customer support not 24x7.

### "Excellent tool"

Overall, I am very happy with my experience with Typeform and would highly recommend it to others.

Pros

Typeform is great for creating interactive and engaging surveys and forms. It's easy to use and the drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to customize the look and feel of surveys and forms. The ability to add logic and branching questions helps to create more personalized experiences for users. The analytics and reporting features are also very helpful in understanding survey responses. Typeform is also great for collecting customer feedback and getting insights into user experiences.

### "Superb selection of templates and integrations."

November 11, 2023

Because of its sophisticated branching and conditional logic, I can design customized routes for responders.

Pros

With Typeform's user-friendly drag-and-drop builder, anyone can easily design visually attractive surveys and forms. With so many pre-made templates at my disposal, I can get started right away and customize each form to meet our unique requirements. I can keep our forms looking professional and match our organization's identity using our custom branding options.

Cons

The cost is somewhat exorbitant. The responses received from the customer service staff could be better.

### "An interactive Form builder with exceptional functionality"

August 30, 2023

4.0

There aren't any notable problems with Typeform. However, the logic creation could be improved upon.

Pros

As a small business and operator, it is awesome to have a tool I can go from idea to actionable product / lead generation in minutes to hours, instead of wasting hours or days on development resources. Being able to easily connect to automation tools also helps boost the value Typeform adds to my business.

Cons

Even though typeform offers a great design experience for lead generation, as a form builder, I find myself wishing for more control over font sizes and the positioning of questions within the slides. However, these limitations aren't a dealbreaker, as there are various design alternatives to work around them.

Pros

Cons

### "An intuitive platform for creating and conducting surveys"

March 26, 2023

5.0

Anybody looking for a strong and user-friendly platform to build surveys, quizzes, and forms should definitely check out Typeform. Its simplicity of use, adaptability, and wealth of features make it a top pick for companies, marketers, and researchers alike.

Pros

It's simple to develop custom forms and surveys thanks to the user-friendly interface. I value the drag-and-drop feature in particular because it makes it simple for me to add questions and alter the form's appearance. The built-in analytics and reporting features of Typeform are another another advantage. When I'm seeking to collect information or make data-driven decisions, this can be really helpful.

Cons

There are still a few obvious weaknesses. For instance, I might need to use a third-party integration solution if I need to link with a certain CRM or marketing automation platform.

Pros

Typeform is user friendly and very easy to figure out. There's not a lot you have to do and it looks amazing even with the most minimal of effort. The more you put in the better your form will look, but you don't have to spend hours making things look great. You ccan have a form ready to go in about 5 minutes.

Cons

### "Disappointed; significant number of results lost"

October 27, 2014

1.0

Typeform don't make it obvious, but they do NOT store partial or incomplete results. In my survey over 120 people started the survey, only 55 completed it. Partial responses would still have been hugely valuable to me, but they're not available with Typeform. They ARE available with SurveyMonkey. I wrote to TypeForm with feedback. Their response "About the issue with not-saved responses, it's the kind of confusion we try to avoid, asking users to test carefully their typeforms before using them..... we are not looking to implement this feature in the near future" So a warning to people: If any response (partial or full) is valuable to you in a survey, please be aware that TypeForm doesn't store the results until the final page where the person clicks "Submit".

Pros

Beautiful looking surveys, easy to setup, fantastic analysis tools.

Cons

Doesn't save partial responses. Some concern, as 3 seperate people reported not being able to submit at the end.

Response from Typeform

October 27, 2014

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. There is an issue around the legality (and morality) about storing answers a respondent gives before submitting. In paginated surveys such as those built with SM, the respondent needs to click on a "Next" button to go to the next page of questions. And in case the survey only has one page and the respondent does not click "Done", SM does not save the answers either. To improve your completion rate, apart from applying a design or making colors and images fit your brand's, make sure to use picture choice and multiple choice whenever possible. Also use Long Text fields only when absolutely necessary and try to keep your survey as short as possible. The average completion rate our users are getting is 55% (which is considered high in the online survey industry) and we've seen some typeforms which follow these guidelines get completion rates as high as 80%. It's unfortunate you only realized we don't save non-submitted answers after publishing your survey, and I'm truly sorry about that. If there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate getting back to me. Pedro

### "TypeForm is a great product, but can be even better"

June 15, 2021

5.0

Overall, Typeform is the best option for those who care a lot about the appearance of the surveys/applications that they sent. Some of the options in Typeform are a bit confusing, but this not because of the UX/UI of their product, but because of the nature of building quizzes and forms.

Pros

I like the design of Typeform very much. Frankly, I believe that the main "killer feature" of Typeform is the fact that it looks so much better than all other options, and since it was important to us to have a great-looking application process - that's was the best choice for us.

Cons

The price. Typeform used to be much more affordable in the past, and it's a pity that it is now so much expensive. I believe that Typeform can find other ways to increase their revenge while allowing the entry tier of the software cheaper.
