December 19, 2017 5.0 Pros The visibility it gives across multiple company locations. The ability to see multiple tariffs on one page eliminating the use of opening tabs. The ability to create users which on top of increasing visibility cuts down on the inbound calls from outside sales force looking for shipment information. Cons Not allowing pickups to be scheduled if it is past a certain time. If you go to a carriers site they will still allow the schedule but may have a popup saying "pickup time after 3pm maybe scheduled for next day". What that does is allow the local terminal to use its own local rules and shipment load to decide if the shipment will get picked up the same day. Need more education with the carriers to not cover up the Pro# generated with the pre-printed Pro# stickers they carry. When this happens of course, we loose tracking. Cons I feel like there should be more communication when the pickup is not going to be made. Pros I really enjoy the ease of having all of my carriers on one page where I can manage multiple quotes and choose the best option for our specific needs. Everything you need is on one site and makes booking loads much easier to manage. Cons I would like to be able to chat with LTL reps like we do truckload reps. This would simplify things. Once I have everything set up and our vendors added I believe it will be a huge asset Pros I like that it brings all the carriers into one platform. No longer having to remember which carrier needs which information and then the separate scheduling after the shipments are built. Cons I would like to be able to add items to the catalog (so that I don't have to keep looking up nmfc's) without having to input the dimensions. Our dimensions do differ often. I would also like to see hours of operation to be more customizable. For example one of our vendors is closed on Fridays, and we are closed earlier on Friday than we are Mon-Thurs. Very consistent and love how you are able to track past data. That helps us out a ton! Pros Easy access to rates, able to quote when needed, and value for money is unbelievable! We can get data anytime we need it. Cons I really don't have anything. I don't have any other experience with something like FV but would recommend it to anyone. Definitely a quality product. I have used it for several years and have no plans to use another software. Pros This is a very user friendly tool. I can go through and schedule shipments with ease whenever I need to. Cons The only issue I have had with Freightview so far is the transit times that pull from carrier websites. They have been inaccurate a handful of times, but that is all that comes to mind. September 11, 2025 5.0 Pros The interface is slick, things just work and the shipping department loves it. We now have multiple people trained on the system because it's so easy to teach. Management and setup is easy and the price is very reasonable. You should check it out. Cons I think the main thing that's missing is the ability to handle customer routed shipments (i.e. 3rd Party Billing) through the API. We are anxiously awaiting that feature. Alternatives considered [LIVE Connect](https://www.capterra.com/p/43989/Freight-Management-Solution/) Reason for choosing Freightview Price and support of the product were superior. Switched from [FedEx Ship Manager](https://www.capterra.com/p/210794/FedEx-Ship-Manager/) FV would integrate with the ERP that we started using and we wanted to make the process more automated. One of the standout features for me is how seamlessly it connects our team—everyone who uses it can view outgoing shipments, collaborate, and support each other effortlessly. It’s not just a tool; it’s a system that brings our shipping operations and people together in a really efficient and empowering way. Cons Honestly, the biggest downside is that not enough of our company is using it! It would be amazing to have all our plants onboard and working together within Freightview—it has so much potential to streamline communication and coordination across locations. If I had to point out a true limitation of the system itself, it would be the need for more transport mode options. Pros Freightview is very user friendly and dependable....The app isn't sluggish and the quotes come in fast and are very accurate....I have never experienced a delay in the shipment being picked up , once it has been scheduled... I also love that I have a wide variety of Carriers that I can choose from and I have the ability to message each one separately if needed.... Using the application is easy and has many functions that add benefits to our team. Pros I think this is a great product for what we are doing at our company. The API integration with our ERP improves our operational efficiency. My favorite part is the support team. They are always there LOOKING to improve their product in anyway possible. Cons I don't have much to say negative about the product. Anytime I have an issue, the support team is there to either fix or find a way to work around. I would say if there is something to improve on at this time, it would be the ability to quickly adjust zip to zip rates for a carrier. Perhaps being able to copy and paste all of the monotonous details needed to fill out the lane rate and just switch the carrier who is on it. Review Source DC Davita C. Also, ease of access. Freightview gives all necessary info at the touch of a button. Pros I've used a couple different sites, CH Robinson being one of them. Freightview is EASIER to use. Having the Class Calculator is a simple necessity and I'm happy to use Freightview! Cons I don't believe; I'm not sure, but Freightview doesn't tell me if it's too late to ship LTL for the day. Pros The simplicity of doing all booking and communication through this program has benefitted our business hugely. The bidding process and tracking in particular are a breeze. Cons Not being able to communicate directly with the carriers on LTL shipments is not a major issue, but it would be good if there was a way to message carriers that we have booked with for ETAs, etc on LTL shipments. Cons Some carriers are not always listed even when we have used them before for similar shipments.
