" February 22, 2026 5.0 I was nervous to try it at first, because I have over 38k subs across several substacks; With that many subscribers, it would cost a mint to put them into an automated email sequence, and segment by group. Mailerlite becaome my choice because of how simple it was to set up automations, how it was designed to scale with my paying subscriber list, and how easy it was to implement. It made me wonder why I waited. Pros I was searching for a simple ESP with easy to use automation that was affordable. and Mailerlite fit the bill. A lot of ESP's have overcomplicated their software when all you need is a simple tool that sends emails on a prescribed schedule. I have it linked to my store, for sales, linked to a landing page to capture emails, and the auto sequence works great. Cons Mailerlite has options for upgrade, and the 500 subscriber limit free plan feels limiting. I wish they would use industry conversion rates out of 1000 subs for the free plan. This gives you an opportunity to do more testing features in list segmentation. But even when you upgrade, there are affordable options that let you scale. We first sent test emails — everything worked fine. Based on that, we upgraded to a paid plan (10,000 subscribers). Then we sent our first real batch of 170 emails. This was not spam, not a scam, not aggressive marketing — just a respectful informational message. From recipients: no spam complaints, no abusive response, normal engagement . From MailerLite: no warnings, no alerts, no indication of any problem. Later, when preparing to send the next batch (~500 emails), our account was terminated for an alleged Terms of Service violation. No prior warning. No opportunity to correct anything. The most important thing to understand: once this happens, YOU LOSE ALL the MONEY you paid. It does not matter if you paid for a year. It does not matter if you used only a small part of the service. YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND. Pros The platform was restricted so quickly after onboarding that we never had a real opportunity to experience or evaluate any meaningful benefits or strengths. I have just signed for two years on an offer with a super low price. And I send about 70 000 mails a month - this is my income, it's not play-play. Pros ML was more economic than what I had. Also, I could cancel my website and build a new one on ML - saving more. ML is easy to use with drag and drop email building and what's best is that there team is always, always ready to provide support - even on the basic level. But once it is reported they quickly work on a repair. Most fixes take at MOST 1 hour, which is not much compared to other places. I love how you can easily group your subscribers into groups to be able to send a campaign to those who need it while NOT sending to others. It's very easy to set up an email campaign and schedule out the email. Pros Ease of use is the best out of most all platforms I've tried. Customer support is patient and actually cares when something isn't working and attempts to help you. Cons Pricing is honestly the only thing I don't like. The emial management and email templates are very easy to use, and have strong power to reach more peoplo and make grow your audience and database that is crucial for those who want to earn money with - for example - courses, webinars, mentoring and so one. I have already made many campaign marketing and it is so easy to do. And again... there is always someone to help you in the Path if you get stuck in an stage of the process. It has some usefull social media management and help with that with some tools that join your campaigns and others landing pages with your own followers from your social media channels. The spam filtering as many or all others plataform is always a problem that concerns those who thrive into the self education industry or any other digital selling product, but they explain and teach you very good how to engage better and not having much problems with that. But then... we are talking about bigger companies or people who have already great projects. The support documentation covers almost everything, and whenever I've had a unique request that falls outside the standard guides, the support team has been responsive and genuinely helpful. The ability to host multiple websites, landing pages, and email lists all within one platform is a huge advantage. Having everything connected in the same ecosystem eliminates the need for multiple subscriptions and simplifies management. On top of that, the landing page builder is incredibly easy to use, making it quick to create professional pages that integrate directly with your email marketing campaigns. Cons The only drawback I've encountered is with the Stripe integration. The fact that MailerLite now supports Stripe payments directly within the platform is fantastic and has added a lot of value. However, at present, only a single Stripe account can be connected to a MailerLite account. For businesses like ours that operate multiple brands or revenue streams, it would be extremely useful to connect multiple Stripe accounts and assign them to different websites, landing pages, or products. This would provide greater flexibility and simplify payment management across different business entities. That said, the current Stripe integration is already a great addition, and multi-account Stripe support would simply be a valuable enhancement rather than a necessity. " September 26, 2025 5.0 Overall, fantastic platform. Outstanding customer support, great documentation for the most part, lots of integrations, easy-to-use tools and systems... I am SO happy someone recommended MailerLite to me. I can't imagine ever working with another Email Service Provider. Special shout-out to Lilian, the agent I worked with today, for her attention to detail and awesome support! Pros I love how seamless this software is. It is SO rare that I have to go outside MailerLite for anything. Seriously, from the Tenor GIF gallery for adding GIFs to emails, to their landing page/website design tools, to their new eCommerce tools, I find this to be well worth the money I pay. And even before I was paying for it, the free version was AWESOME. It's just so dang easy to segment my audience, email my campaigns, set up automations, and add my branding to all of it. Far, far superior to the experience I had with MailChimp. Cons My one complaint is there's a little lack of clarity about domains. I set up a custom domain with the intention of using the main www.\[myurl\].com for my website, and www.\[myurl\].com/free-quiz, etc., for my landing pages. I had set up 18 landing pages for different campaigns and offers when I tried to publish my website today. And that's when I learned you can't use 1 domain for both landing pages and websites. Cue panic - I need this website live by Monday and it's 4pm on Friday! That said, the customer support I got for this was AWESOME. She did stuff on the back-end to save me time, and walked me through, click-by-click, how to set up what I wanted. But now ALL of my landing pages have a new domain, and I have to get in touch with quite a few colleagues to have them update their links for me. I'm a bit embarrassed about that, honestly. But other than this 1 issue? I have 0 complaints from my last 6+ months of using MailerLite. Review Source EC Evanthia C. Partner Entertainment Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Great For My Needs" June 19, 2026 5.0 Considering that I’m in a trial phase and also considering the fact that because I don’t have a large number of emails, it’s incredible that this is a free mailer for me at this point. I would recommend it for sure Pros Mailerlite did a great job setting me up to import about 175 emails. The bot helped me organize it up with the live chat. Took care of Buisness in about 10 minutes. I’m ready to go now. Haven’t sent out my first mailer yet, but I really like these guys and get a good feeling for them. Cons It’s always sticky setting up a large file but I got through it and live chat was excellent. So far I have no real complaints so far.
