Pros

It is handy and open-source. I use it frequently with great results. Help me to manage my projects more easily.

Cons

Lack of budget possibilities. It will be very helpful if you can add it. Needed in many cases. Please consider it.

Pros

GanttProject is a free, open-source project management tool that has been around for many years, offering a strong community and multiplatform support. It provides a user-friendly interface, making it accessible for users of all levels, and offers essential features like Gantt charts, resource load charts, and PERT charts for effective project planning and scheduling. 

Cons

I found GanttProject’s interface to be outdated and less intuitive compared to other modern project management tools. Additionally, it lacks advanced collaboration features and cloud integration, which can limit its effectiveness for larger teams.

It was easy to use and subsequently implement across a team. Visuals are great for client facing reports and detailed notes and item properties allow granular project management.

Pros

Free product with tons of features to help manage projects. Easy and intuitive to learn

Cons

It can sometimes lag or glitch when editing event details, possibly fixed in updates.

Pros

Being open souce it is a simple solution that can be hosted on-premises. We can use it whenever the customer environment is closed or the information needs to be archived later.

Cons

Reporting features need more options, specially to manage Agile/Scrum projects. Integration to manage Sprints could be useful as well.
