### " real estate contract management in dotloop"

April 9, 2025

I have used that loop for the last three years straight and it’s easy to maneuver through the system and find the documents that I need as well as set up for online signatures

Pros

Dotloop platform is very easy to use for creating contracts from existing documents and for online signatures & document storage

Cons

Dotloop does charge an annual fee but is provided through my brokerage complimentary to agents

### "Warning! Do not engage e-signing with DotLoop"

January 7, 2026

1.0

Overall I will never suggest this product to any company ever. Their user contracts are not fair and put the user at a disadvantaged financially. If you need to go a different route due to finances, you will be unable to with this company!

Pros

We started using the Outlook because I was with a big box broker and it was their default e-signing system. We were already familiar with how to use it. So when we expanded to another state we started paying Ford out of pocket. It worked for us for a few years very well because we were familiar with it.

Cons

This is a warning to any potential user of.DotLoop! You are tied into a contract for 12 months and whether you use the product or not you cannot escape paying out the end of your contract! There are no negotiations and no exceptions. Warning about that policy! Our brokerage used DotLoop for 5 years and always paid our bill on time. Florida association of Realtors offers a product that syncs better with the Florida forms. We are using that product now. It is a more user-friendly product through Form Simplicity I called DotLoop to cancel My subscription and was offered an appointment 2 weeks out to speak with a customer representative! I let them know that would not work for me and asked for a call back same day. I was asked what country and time zone I was in. I told them USA, eastern time. A phone call was scheduled 2 days out! That's ridiculous in a career where time is of the essence.

Good! I enjoy it to send documents to clients to get signatures and it right away comes back to me. It’s easier than going to the client

Pros

You can send out documents to be digitally signed. It makes the process faster for clients instead of having hard copies

Cons

I have used another system that is much easier and has way more functions. Dot loop does not have a forms piece

### ""Dotloop: A User-Friendly, Collaborative Transaction Management Tool""

September 25, 2024

5.0

My overall experience with Dotloop is positive. I find it easy to use and highly collaborative, which streamlines transaction management and document handling. The platform's ability to facilitate real-time updates and interaction with other users makes your workflow more efficient. While there may be minor limitations or occasional hiccups, the benefits of its simplicity and collaborative features likely outweigh these, resulting in a productive and smooth experience.

Pros

What I like most about Dotloop is its user-friendly interface and simplicity. The platform makes managing transactions straightforward, allowing for seamless document creation, editing, and signing. Additionally, it facilitates easy collaboration with other users, enabling real-time updates and ensuring everyone stays on the same page throughout the process. This combination of ease of use and collaborative features streamlines workflows and enhances productivity.

Cons

Occasional glitches or slow performance, especially when working with large files. the platform’s interface, while generally user-friendly, could be more intuitive when navigating complex transactions. Additionally, i feel that certain advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which may limit functionality for those using the basic version.

I have been using that loop for eight years in my real estate business and it makes my workflow that much easier

Pros

### "Making tenant lease signing easy for the SFH landlord!"

July 23, 2024

Huge time savings when interfacing with my tenants for all lease related signing, initialing, authenticating, and sharing. Excellent.

Pros

Ease of use and the ability to edit a document after it has been partially signed by tenants and sign it myself.

Cons

When first creating a loop name, the software prompts for the address of the property. Would be better to just prompt "Loop Name".

### "VERY USER FRIENDLY. WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT AND USE OUT OF IT WILL SHOW"

February 2, 2024

5.0

I USE THIS WEEKLY WITH ALL MY CLIENTS AND THEIR REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS. I HAVE USED ANOTHER PRGRAM AND IT IS NOT AT ALL ORGANIZED AND HAS TOO MANY STEPS TO GET THE CONTRACT SIGNED AND THEN TO ADMIN FOR REVIEW. DOTLOOP MAKES THE WHOLE PROCESS SMOOTHER.

Pros

THE FLOW OF THE ASSIGNED FIELDS ARE EASY FOR THE CLIENT TO SIGN. SAVES THE CLIENT TIME AND HAPPY TO USE IT. THE USER PUTS IN ALL THE INFO AT THE BEGINNING HELPS THE AUTO FILL TO HAVE EVERYTHING CORRECT SAVING TIME TO COMPLETE.

Cons

WHEN SIGNEES ARE ABLE TO SIGN PASS THE PART THEY NEED TO SIGN. USUALLLY USER INOUT IS THE REASON OR SIGNEE IS CLICKING THE TAB INCORRECTLY. I DO NOT THINK IT IS DOTLOOP, I THINK IT IS HUMAN ERROR.

Dotloop provides a huge convenience for clients to be able to sign from their phone or computer anywhere they are. Gone are the days of having to drive across town just to get a signature or initial that may have been missed…not that I ever miss any…lol :0)

Pros

Dotloop is very widely used in my market so it makes it easy to transact on both sides of the deal with the other agent. I enjoy the features like document splitting and being able to customize the documents

Cons

### "Monumental Disappointment! "

July 16, 2024

1.0

Terrible experience! I should’ve known better when they gave me a massive discount to sign on!

Pros

The nice people that pick up the phone when you call the support line.

Cons

This premium business account software turned out to be a monumental disappointment. Despite Drew's sales pitch promising the world, his follow-up was nonexistent. Their assertion of partnerships with all MLS platforms is a blatant falsehood - not all are supported, a significant issue in the realtor community. Thousands of MLS listings mean nothing if they can't cover them all! To add insult to injury, the system crashes during peak usage, making it near impossible to submit offers promptly. Glide's free account outshines this supposed premium service in every aspect. And let's not forget \[sensitive content hidden\] from their "success" team - utterly ineffective! When I realized MLS data from MetroMLS would not populate into CAR forms, they dismissed my concerns, suggesting I wait out a pointless six-month cancellation period. Each call felt like they were more concerned with defending their subpar software than addressing my legitimate issues. Avoid this company at all costs. Stick with Glide Free and invest in a transaction coordinator for a smoother experience. It's the smarter choice.

Pros

Cons

There are things I've had to call into customer service that I couldn't figure out how to do from info on the app/website. Wish there was a robust "help" section so that I could find out my answer without calling in!

### "Thank you feedback Dot Loop"

April 15, 2024

5.0

It was good so far. Thank you very much!

Pros

Easy to use. Its simplicity. Thank you very much!

Cons

As a buying Agent, I don't have any problems from getting back signatures from buyers,, but when I send the signed by buyers docs to a listing Agent, my docs on my side still stay unsigned, even though the seller and listing Agent signed it. All my Contracts and other docs in my loop stay unsigned by sellers and their Agent. I have to ask them to email the signed doc. It is very uncomfortable and time consuming. With DocuSign, I get their signatures immediately and right on spot without asking receivers to send the signed documents in a separate email.

### "Great System, Don't love the company"

July 24, 2023

4.0

Pros

Dotloop has a great system, we used it mostly in our real estate transactions for digital signature, transaction management and general real estate use.

Cons

The worst part of dotloop is they have been bought by Zillow and now shares the data with them. As an agent, we put lots of personal data into this system during a transaction. We have never had a client that is ok with us sharing this data to other companies, much less a competitor in our industry.

### "Keeping me and my clients in the loop! "

December 25, 2020

5.0

Of all the real estate technology, software, tools, apps available and there are thousands I’m sure, Dotloop is by far my most important tool as a real estate agent. When I first started my real estate career I literally had no idea what documents I needed to complete. My brokerage offered dotloop to all its agents. So I added my first loop, selected the option for residential seller, and voila—all the forms that I needed to have complete were right there in front of me. Had I not had dotloop, I would not have been able to complete that first deal on my own. I had never been shown what paperwork was needed. And it was so easy to use. Everything I needed was right there and so easy to use. I have since changed brokerages and dotloop made the swap super easy. I’m a bit of a tech geek and want to know all the features a software provides. So I always check for user manuals. And I loved that they offer a PDF manual. I later learned about the Certified Looper Course. I enrolled and completed the course and received my certification. The tips and tricks I learned in this course had saved me countless hours managing my transactions. I can’t say enough good things about this software. It’s my most important tool.

Pros

Most liked features include: Ease of use for user and their clients; secure; ability to add new interactive forms; export client contact information; integration with Zillow, Gmail, etc.; Co-Op docs; AUTOFILL;

Cons

A feature that I would like to see added is within each loop you have a calendar tab that you can select. Once selected you see 3 full calendar months- the entire current months calendar, previous month and following month. You can toggle back to previous months or ahead to future months. The calendar shows all the key dates related to that loop both past and present. It pulls all the key dates from all the forms within the loop to give you a birds eye view of deadlines, expirations, etc. For example, a buyer loop would show the date offer was made, offer expiration date and time, offer accepted date, inspection period from start day to final day, anticipated closing date, financing contingency dates, extension periods, final walkthru date, Date of appraisal, Warranty start and end dates, etc. The system would provide you and your client with email and or text alerts for upcoming or expired dates. One click and you see a 3 month view of all the key dates for that loop.

Reason for choosing dotloop

Broker offered Dotloop.

### "Powerful Platform"

October 8, 2021

5.0

I use dotloop as a single source for all of my document and file management and retention needs. The latest and greatest Forms, Contracts, Disclosures from my real estate associations always seem to be present. I love that I can even map interactive fields to my own internal/brokerage specific forms--fields that autofill based on the info used to create a loop. I have even created some forms that will do the math for me.

Pros

Simple to use, highly customizable, very flexible yet consistent.

Cons

The mobile app leaves a little to be desired--I get that maybe it can't be as robust as the desktop platform, but it is a little bit difficult to navigate, especially when trying to download/export a document to a device to be distributed via an email account. Sometimes it can be challenging to locate older, but still active, files.

Reason for choosing dotloop

Transaction Desk is offered through many MLS's as a "benefit" of membership. However, the platform seems disjointed and difficult to navigate and organize. Dotloop just seems more "logical"

### "Fantastic Software Designed For The Real Estate Professional"

December 18, 2021

5.0

I love using Dotloop with all my real estate transactions as it saves a tremendous amount of time with contract writing and delivery.

Pros

The Dotloop software is easy to use and very intuitive which makes it very fast to learn and be proficient as using. Using Dotloop saves a tremendous amount of time and energy when writing or delivering contracts and the best part of it is that you can draft, sign and deliver contracts from the comfort of you own home or office. After using Dotloop, I can't imaging going back to the way things used to be.... Meeting clients to get signatures, taking contract to other Realtor, meeting other realtor after their clients sign contract and then delivering to my office... I'm already tired just typing the way it used to be. Thanks Dotloop for transforming the way contracts are done and saving Realtors many hours of time that we can spend with our family or time that can be put toward finding the next deal.

Cons

The only thing that I would change about the software is that once you start a contract or form it cannot be deleted... It can be archived, but not deleted. It would be nice to be able to delete forms that were mistakenly added to the loop or started but not signed.
