### "Customer Service is Severely Lacking (even with Premium Package)"

I think it says it all, that after a year of dealing with this, we are already looking to switch to a different system. We are willing to go through the expense and arduous process of revalidating and migrating our documents and training so we do not have to use this system and rely on this customer support team. We used this site and others to help with our decision to purchase this system and there were no negative reviews at that time. I find it hard to believe that there are so few negative reviews, so I wanted to make sure that an honest review was out there.

Pros

The basic program for document management is good. The look and feel is nice. The guide (A.I) informing you what to do next is very nice for new users. This could be a very nice program, but it is just not there yet.

Cons

There are too many steps in most processes, making it difficult. In document management, review process is cumbersome and is not tracked by individual contributors until you push a document to approval. Obsolete documents are viewable by everyone. We do not use some of the modules we purchased because they are just too cumbersome (CAPA, Noncompliance). The Admin side is very complicated as well. I have a lot of issues with the system but, the system is not the biggest problem. It could be a great program with some work. The biggest problem is Customer Support. It is the worst experience I have ever had in this industry. It is a ticket system through email. They almost never answer your question or correct the problem without a lot of back and forth emails. They do not give you a time frame for tickets in the contract and there is a reason for that. They are almost never done in a timely manner. Our average resolution time is 10 days, which is appalling and that is an average. I just had a ticket that they added a permission set but did not inform us of the change. I requested the audit trail and did not ever get it. They accused us of signing in as CQ Support and performing this action. After a lot of back and forth and requests for the audit trail, they finally pulled the audit report that showed that they in fact performed this action themselves. There were no apologies. We bought the premium support but, we are not getting premium customer support by any stretch of the imagination. The whole support experience has been disappointing. Customer service is almost never stellar but this standard of customer support is a new low in my experience. New licenses are also not cheap. So the initial low cost does not carry over to getting the system up and running. It has not been well tested and there are compliance issues. Getting even compliance issues corrected have been difficult to put in motion and very time consuming.

### "Perfect for Compliance management"

We offer chronic condition management programs to our clients and we provide devices to the members when they are enrolled. All device related issues are being handled in CQ. We are using only complaints module, but there are more capabilities to it. This has really helped us in streamlining our complaints management process. One of the key benefits has been ability to integrate the complaints workflow into our salesforce eco system especially into our case management. This allows our service and operations teams to access complaint data alongside member and case information, which eliminated the need for external tracking system and improved our efficiency. From the technical perspective, I really like how all different objects they provide and everything has a record tracking, saving the deleted records data. A well structured data model helps us for our troubleshooting scripts etc. In summary, the CQ package has been a very useful tool for managing device complaints. It has enabled better visibility, structured complaint handling and improved operational tracking within Salesforce.

Pros

What I like most about CQ is how seamlessly it integrates with Salesforce and leverages the native platform capabilities. Since it is built directly on Salesforce, it allows us to use existing features such as Flows, reports and role-based security without needing a separate system.

Cons

One of the challenges is that, since it is a managed package, certain components and underlying logic are locked. While this helps maintain the system stability and ensures consistent upgrades from the vendor, it can limit the level of customization that can be done directly within the package.In Some cases, we needed to build additional configurations or automations outside the package to align the functionality with our internal workflows.

### "ComplianceQuest at least keeps all of our paperwork in order so that’s something"

I am glad that we are no longer drowning in paper folders at my desk. The dashboard does show me what needs to be done immediately upon login and it’s mostly decent. It keeps all of our CAPA’s and audit materials in one location so we received zero non compliance issues during our most recent inspection. Honestly, it simply functions as needed for us and the validation process was not a complete disaster to implement.

Pros

The flickering fluorescent light overhead is driving me nuts but at least ComplianceQuest keeps everything organized for ISO 13485 compliance and therefore is one less thing to worry about. To be honest I thought I was going to be in for a world of trouble with the risk management portion because I had heard nightmare stories about how difficult the system could be to use. However, ComplianceQuest has the IMDRF codes built into the risk management module and it worked flawlessly (no issues). At least this design matrix was better than the ones we used to keep in Excel that would always be broken.

Cons

Having to type my password every time I perform an action within ComplianceQuest is a huge headache and I will never store it in my browser. Additionally, I think the search function is awful unless you specifically know what you're searching for, there doesn’t appear to be a way to mass upload our previous documentation as well, which prolonged the transition from paper and required me to work late.

### "Keeps my quality processes well organized and my audit ready"

With ComplianceQuest I can keep track of all our compliance activities training, audits and document reviews in one place where it is well organized and traceable. It saves a lot of time versus manually tracking it down especially during audits. It gives me the peace of mind that every version of a document, approval and training record is documented and easily produced when regulators ask for it.

Pros

I am daily consumer of ComplianceQuest for document control, training assignments and capa workflow across quality team and regulatory. My favorite thing is everything, from training records to change requests and audit reports, it’s all in one place and I’m not running five different spreadsheets or systems anymore. The dashboards allow me to easily see what’s pending, what’s approved and anything that needs my attention which makes staying legal much less stressful.

Cons

Though it’s power packed you might feel that it is a little cumbersome when creating new workflows or templates such as there are many levels of configuration before things get going smoothly. Automated notifications are also sometimes unreliable, so I occasionally have to reach out to reviewers myself and I wish the reporting side was a bit more forgiving pulling in custom metrics takes a bit more effort than I would prefer.

ComplianceQuest brings everything for example files, audits, paper documents etc in one place. It has saved me a lot of time and keeps is stress free as I know that our records are always audit ready.

Pros

For working with our document control, change requests and CAPA process I use ComplianceQuest. What I like is how fast everything works here, for example when I update a procedure, the has change instantly. Also the time for an audit is in approval process which I think is great.

Cons

The reporting end feels a bit time consuming because custom reports is sometimes slower and filtering options don’t always make sense. Also when I try to customize certain workflows, it needs admin level implementation, so it takes time and I think the interface can be more modern.

It has been an ideal tool for our database, which operates in a highly regulated environment, and as a support specialist, it has brought enormous efficiency to management and maintenance.

Pros

I really liked it because it offers excellent features with great customization and module configuration, such as workflows and audit templates. Furthermore, I love that it inherently meets high traceability standards, which is vital in our industry.

Cons

I dont like the license dependency because the cost and performance are tied to the license and Salesforces limitations. In other words, were dependent on that tool.

Really good experience, journey customizing was a bit long but the team met all my needs and were highly experience in operations.

Pros

Software that you can customize to your needs, they have a solution for almost any Quality process. It can connect to multiple softwares, databases and ERPs.

Cons

Coming out of the box it is a bit complex, for a company that is starting its journey in a eQMS there is a lot of configuration to do.

My experience is excellent because ComplianceQuest simplifies the compilation process, reduce file search time, and everything works very well.

Pros

I love the integrated audit management system because it allows me to run and manage everything directly on the platform, and I can also access files directly with a single click. I really appreciate that. Finally I like the user-friendly documentation and intuitive interface.

Cons

I had problems recording incorrect data and the quality of the audit was compromised. Thats the only thing I didnt like about it happening.

Pros

I like that everything is within the same system because, for example, its functions for document management, access control and Salesforce-based reporting, the ease of generating reports and the simplicity of audits all in one place is excellent.

Cons

The downside would be the dependence on the Salesforce environment. Each update requires validation testing in CQ, which is cumbersome.

We went through a very detailed selection process when we decided to replace our other Quality Management System. Out of 17 vendors, ComplianceQuest (CQ) was the solution for us. Began planning in April of 2017, implementing in May 2017 and went live with our first module the first part of September of 2017, with Document Management. We have since been adding modules one at a time. Currently working on our Audit Module, next will be Training Module which will provide eLearning (Scorm) content to the entire enterprise. We have several more modules to go after this, but i expect it to be as smooth as the first and look forward to our continued work together. CQ has very highly skilled and knowledgeable people working on our project to make sure we have what we need and when it is needed. CQ is by far one of the best Quality Management Systems i have seen and or worked with. We liked the fact that it allowed for customization and configuration changes, but don't over think any of that. CQ's out of the box solution is great as it is. If your company has never had a Quality Management System, then it would be a good idea to go with their out of the box solution as it is almost perfect, if not perfect. We had a system in place when we purchased CQ so they helped us configure it so our employees understood it easily without to many changes. But most importantly they were able to take all of our data from the old system and pull it into the new system and we kept all of our historical records. They also helped us transfer all of our Historical Training records from 2 other system. At the end of our work together they will also be pulling all of our CAPA and Non Conformance's from yet another system, which i suspect will be an easy task for them. Honestly i couldn't recommend a better system or a better group of people to work with. Keep up the good work CQ, we have a couple more years to go!

Pros

System Integrations with other systems Customization Configurable User Automation CQ helped us pull in our historical data from 5 other systems. So now we have one system of record. Everyone is very knowledgeable Support was very fast Their out of the box system is really all that is needed, but it is highly customizable and configurable.

Cons

From our side we wanted to customize everything, which was possible, but not recommended by CQ. We did do some customization that had to be rolled back, but that was on us.

### "Compliance Quest has it all"

CQ support is great and usually very quick to answer and resolve our issues (most of them user and training issues). The software is very robust, but not as customizable as you would think for being on the Salesforce platform.

Pros

This system has it all. We are running off a very old legacy (partially house built) system. CQ is completely cloud based (so no need for VPN) and has all the features (then some) that we are looking for. I love that we can now add questions to make sure the user actually read the training documents. The automated approval process for document control is really nice instead of doing it via email or docusign at this point. They also added a project management system with the latest version that we are looking forward to looking into. They are constantly making changes to the system to keep it up-to-date. This is good an bad, but was very happy when they moved away from visual force pages to lightning.

Cons

There is a lot of configuration that has to be done to set this up, but this is likely the same across the board for this type of software. My biggest complaint is they don't make things customizable. This is one of the great things about salesforce, but they decided to go in a way that prevents customizing page layouts and edit screens without getting them to make the changes. In some areas I can understand why they would do it this way, but we have other software that uses field sets to allow us to change fields on the page/edit page. You can only use the Salesforce Lightning interface with this software now. Which really sucks for us, as we have some software that hasn't (and likely will not) move to lightning unless Salesforce decommissions classic. This forces our users that use the other software that may not work in lightning, to switch back and forth.

It was build on the same system that our users are already using (Salesforce) and was very robust.

It is a good system which has provided overall flexibility and traceability in the workplace.

Pros

The ability to work fully remotely and to address all areas of the quality system is fantastic. The change system is well thought out and there is good flexibility in most areas to apply the system to whatever task you may have.

Cons

There are some areas that as a small company, we find slightly inflexible. With less staff, sign offs are often a problem with the system not allowing for same person creation and sign off in some cases. The follow up with CQ has, at times been difficult and this is most likely due to being a smaller company.

### "Great Features, not Great Support or Cost"

We are solving our current document management system needs by having CQ implemented. However, because of lack of support and cost are looking for different document management options.

Pros

We utilize ComplianceQuest for the Document Management component of our ISO Certifications. The system has all of the controls (and then some) necessary within a document management system. We liked the fact that beyond document management, CQ has the ability to send out and record trainings linked at a document level, which other SW platforms do not have.

Cons

Whenever we encounter a critical bug, it takes a year or longer to resolve with CQ. The support and escalation are just not there when it is needed most. There is a substantial fee associated with the cost of this platform which is yearly.

I do not know because I was not working for this company when the decision was made.

Our road to implementing ComplianceQuest (CQ) Incident Management, Change Order, Controlled Document, Training, and CAPA has had some detours. We began implementing Change Order, Controlled Document, and Training only to leave it mid-stream to implement Incident Management. Through our changing courses, the ComplianceQuest team was very patient, supportive, and professional, truly a superb team! They listened to our needs and set our configurations, including searching for solutions. When we asked for record attachments to be sent with automated Supplier email notifications, they found a way! We were able to move our historical data into CQ and use the reporting and dashboard tools to analysis prior year data against new year. We will be able to use their Document Migration Utility to upload 1000+ SOPs, Work Instructions, and Forms from our server to CQ. Our IT team was able to work with the ComplianceQuest team to setup auto-syncs with our HR and ERP systems so Personnel and Parts data necessary for the eQMS are available and always current. We are getting ready to auto-sync our Supplier Accounts and Contacts next to Salesforce. The Technical Support team is wonderful for issue that arise after implementation. They are responsive, patient, courteous, knowledgeable, and not above sharing little secrets to make things move a little more smoothly.

Pros

CQ is highly configurable. Configurations can be as simple or complex as you want. Being cloud-based allows users access from anywhere, anytime, especially the Salesforce 1 mobile app. Excellent implementation and product support teams. If your business does not have a QMS currently, CQ out of the box is a great place to start!

Cons

Since this is a license-based system, it can be expensive for a business with 3,000 employees. We needed to trim down our user base to limit our licenses and stay within budget. Reassigning tasks when employees leave is a chore. There is no “mass” reassign for the entire platform. Reassignment must be managed by each module.

### "ComplianceQuest...Above and Beyond"

ComplianceQuest take customer relations seriously. I have really enjoyed the professionalism of working with ComplianceQuest. They are very patient and make sure that everything is to our satisfaction. To date we have only implemented Incoming Inspection, but I look forward continue to work with ComplianceQuest to implement non-conformance, deviations, SCARS, Audit, and supplier portal. For years our incoming inspections was a manual process with the use of handwritten notes in folders. Today we no longer use folders and capture all the data in Salesforce using ComplianceQuest. We are able to link to the drawing, we have incorporated skip lot and supplier health plans into our incoming inspections, and it's all completely transparent to the inspectors. The Inspectors look at the queue and see what needs to be inspected and ComplianceQuest manages the rest. The inspection process is more streamlined and only parts that need to be inspected are inspected, allowing the parts to flow much quicker through the system. We also use ComplianceQuest at our other locations in the US and this allows us to better control the quality of the parts and our suppliers.

Pros

The Inspection module in ComplianceQuest is intuitive and easy to use. The interface is customizable so you can easily set up the look and feel for your users. We were able to set up the Inspection tabs that followed or workflow, and this made it very user friendly. We had a need to develop some custom code for our process and we worked very closely with ComplianceQuest. They listened to our needs and were helpful when asked for recommendations. They were always accessible to answer any questions we had, regardless of the issue, big or small.

Cons

Like any software the initial setup is a chore. You have to follow the steps carefully and make sure you have all the correct permission sets, but ComplianceQuest was there every step of the way to assist.

I have had a great experience with ComplianceQuest from beginning discussions to solution implementation and Go Live!

Pros

I liked everything about CQ. The end-to-end approach is a great benefit to startups who are looking to be immediately aligned with QMS industry and regulatory expectations.

Cons

I liked least that we didn't start with ComplianceQuest from our humble beginnings.

We chose CQ over alternative solutions is because of the end-to-end Out The Box capabilities that are already aligned to QMS industry and regulatory expectations.

### "All-inclusive eQMS solution for your Quality Systems management needs"

Pros

CQ brings several QMS modules together in one tool which allows for seamless integration. The biggest pros of Compliance Quest are that it is a one-stop-shop solution (Complaints, CAPA, Document Control, etc.). This made it much easier to incorporate CQ into our organization. CQ also allows for module customization to meet our organization's unique and specific needs.

Cons

The user interface and module flow takes some getting used to. But once trained, the user design does become familiar across all modules.
